laaame. people who have ranma listed in their interest totals a little over 1k. naruto? over 97 thousand.

There's something horribly wrong with a nearly 20 year old series that started its US release schedule something like 14-16 years ago being less popular than the new hotness that started its run in Japan about 4 years ago and its US run a year ago?

Especially when most of Gaia was born right around when Ranma came to the US.

Tell me, do you also find it rational to seriously lament the lack of Leave it to Beaver fans when compared to stuff like American Idol?

Ranma is a great show, but you have to take into account that it is indeed dated in terms of animation, dub/translation conventions (both on the dub and sub), humor, and appeal. A lot of its fanbase (myself included) will openly admit that a large part of their persisting love for it has to do with the fact that when they first started watching it, it was one of the only titles coming out in the US, and probably the only long running title at its time.
ahaha. i only looked it up because i found my ranma vhs tapes. 27 in total. whee i was like.. 7 or 8 when i first saw ranma.. i know its a really old anime, but maaan. i half thought that with everyone so into inu yasha that they'd have at least looked into ranma. 1K people? lul i'm torrenting the entire series as we speak. 31 gig. so worth it.

We seem to be on the same thought patterns as of late ... considering the way my mind works, it cannot be a good thing.

27 VHS's? That's about 3 seasons. 3 of the 7 seasons, not even half of the broadcast material. And one of two movies and 12 ova eps.

Not even half the material. Closer to a third.

Grab it if you believe you must, but given the AG's origin you're in the wrong place to be casual about it or argue that you're entitled. More than a few of us here have bought just about the entire series on VHS... solely with our own money, and we wouldn't even begin to rationalize downloading it. Hell, a few of us actually own cells from it, theoretically owning far more of the series than most ever will, and I'd bet good gold they wouldn't consider themselves covered as far as downloading it.

My kitty came home. whee I woke up early go look for him, and he was sitting in the bushes in front of our apartment soaking wet. heart heart

Yay! But poor kitty.. When one of my cats got out a while back we didn't think we'd find him because he was long gone before we noticed. But one night when a friend was driving me home and coming up a road near my house (like really close) the headlights caught the glimmer of eyes and it looked like a cat. It turned out to be mine but we had to get him out from under a porch to a house because he ran under there. There was only one way to get him out too..and it was by a loose board thing on the side of the house. haha. He was skinny..and it had rained some days before and just..wow.
