"I'm alright," Arlen said, looking around calmly to see if anyone could have overheard that last part. "Nothing broken." At least not anymore he added mentally before lowering his voice. "Master Guan wants to play dead for a while. So we shouldn't talk about him around other people and if anyone asks we got a letter about him dying in an avalanche a week ago."

*As he walked out of the Inn Aitrus reached out with his other senses. It was difficult since he didnt know Jake very well, but shortly after trying to find the boy he gave up on trying to locate the small signiture, now focused on a more powerful one than he had sensed outside the Inn itself in quite some time. Definately a mage of some sort. It also happened to be where Ukaia and the other boy happened to be.* "This way I think." He says as he headed off at a quick pace in that direction, keeping Trina in his sight as he did so.*

"Oops." Lily whispered, eyes wide. Then she sighed, shaking her head and speaking in a low tone. "Wish he'd have told me. Avalanche. Gotcha." Setting her dishes aside, she closed the distance between them, standing at his back as she gently rubbed his shoulders.

"Sorry," Arlen apologized for the man, almost purring as Lily started to rub his shoulders. "Anyway I could help with your plan?" he asked, sinking into a nearby seat.

Lily smiled and firmed her touch slightly, working the muscles beneath her hands. "You could." she admitted, leaning down to kiss his neck. "I could use your help, actually. I'll need someone to anchor me when I leave my body. Otherwise, I might forget to come back."

"I could really forget." Lily answered softly, then gave a slight shiver, though her hands didn't stop, and moved a bit lower on his back. "Or I could get lost, or a hundred other things... it's better all around if I have someone to anchor for me."

"Then I would gladly anchor you," Arlen said leaning back and turning to kiss her. "I'm sorry for doubting you, but whenever you talk about this out of body stuff I just feel useless."

Lily smiled a bit, then walked around the chair, sitting almost gingerly in his lap, not sure if he was sore from training. "I understand." she told him softly, kissing him gently in return. "And I know you do... I'm sorry for that."

"You're not useless." Lily told him, rolling her eyes. "Just untrained." Then she put her head on his shoulder, nodding. "I'll be as careful as I can be. I promise. This isn't even going to be the hard part, really."

Lily shivered lightly, then began to trill quietly as she nuzzled his neck. "Figuring out what that pompous, over-bearing mage is up to." she answered, closing her eyes briefly.

As he progressed, Lily's trilling grew louder, and she seemed to melt a bit against him. "Not really." she murmured, smiling. "The spirit might be able to tell me more, when it has rested."
