o_O Um...Yeah. For where I live, we usually swim in ponds or the ocean(which is usually bitter cold but still awesome for summer). On the mainland though I notice people often have swimming pools and such as well as ponds etc.

I have a creek near my house. its nice to swim in, out of the sun regardless of time of day. course, its hard to get up the bank without getting muddier than you start from the water, but its still fun there.

I used to swim in a river which is a few minutes away from my parent's house. It was warmer than the ocean but the ocean still sometimes reverses the water flow there. Which is why I got stung by a jellyfish in a river. That is also the last time I ever swam in anything other than a pool.

I live in north texas... We're having a drought, and the nearest lake is closed to the public until it reaches an acceptable level. It's also an hour drive from us.
So... We put in a pool when I was 12.

One thing we haven't worried about for years now is drought. There have been times when it rains non-stop for MONTHS. I'm NOT kidding you.

Now, now, Ukyo. That was just a silent judgement, not the actual rapture. That's happening in October now. razz

Oh right. Forgot about that Fanatic blaugh Geez how many of these doomsday hoaxes am I going to face in my lifetime? This is what, my sixth one now? The last really big one was Y2K. God do I ever remember that year. We had to get our computer 'updated' to a '98 because if not, once the 2000 rolled on in the year for the clock it would have apparently crashed our computer since it couldn't tollerate three 0's in the year at the same time.

It went surprisingly better than I imagined. A LOT of the questions on the exam were ones we were already asked in the mock RT's, oddly enough. So around 7:30pm my time, I went to the Keg and had a big late supper with the classmates and a few of the teachers. I only just got home. And now I'm exhausted...

Hey guys, for the next six weeks, I'll be on once a week at best. I've got this thing that's a mix of school, summer camp, and boot camp and I'm not allowed Internet except for once a week.
