Oh Hellboy,
::sighs deeply::
If only I could elucidate in some way the mathematical equation that would form the proof for all others of how our love can possibly be...
Snrk....
::Cracks up::
Okay, I can't do that for long.

Oh, you people...
::rolls his eyes::
I can't even get away with talking like that to my fiance. If I did, she would be well within her rights to break my nose. And I would thank her for doing so!

The person who wrote this fiction must have had a well-worn thesaurus at hand the entire time. The passage about 'alabaster groaning, as e'er their bodies were entwined as one double-helix, a DNA of paisley-pink hue' nearly caused me an aneurysm.

the passage of "the depth of their love reached out over the aeons, entwined in the fabric of the very cosmos, heavens and hell, past, future, and even within the hearts of the elder gods, those ancient things that dwelled withing hateful cauldrons of forgotten time knew their everlasting devotion, and took pause."
yeah. good stuff.

I was just trying to figure out how she got both "alabaster" and "paisley-pink" hue.. I mean really, we'd be more of a Christmas print. Maybe holly or something. xp

Were I inclined towards drinking, I think I would have after finishing that particular passage.
More time was spent in the book describing "our love" then actually doing anything about it.
Perhaps that was a small mercy.
