((Okay...so this will be occurring after the meeting of the minds outside, I guess; the ole fast forwards then rewind later trick...))
The kitchen door swung open rapidly, having been hit from the other side with a quick push from Sakiyn's hand, and he stalked in, grumbling, hands in his pockets, as the door smacked the wall, and swung closed behind him. He began to walk into the kitchen, a scowl on his face, until he noticed Nyl, and froze for a second, eyes wide, as if startled; then, he slowly made his way over to her, sitting down across from her, sighing. "Wheeew....Hey...you seem to be having a nice day, at least...." Leaning back in his chair, he smiled slightly, wryly, at Nyl.

Face heating up, Sak looked down, mumbling, hands at his sides. "Sorry...wasn't thinking......damn uppity students." Leaning his head back, Sak squeezed his eyes closed, then opened them looking at Nyl, a slightly strained smile on his face. "Sorry for coming in and ruining your peace and quiet, Nyl. I'd love some tea, what kind is it?"

She sipped her tea, staring out the kitchen window into the night.

Eyes falling as he held a teacup and reached for the pot, Sakiyn looked down as he drew the pot back, and slowly poured himself a cup of tea. "I do wish my apologies could help with all that, though...Mmm, the tea is delicious. It's sweet...but the aftertaste is complex, a bit bitter..." (( *picks up a baseball bat with the word "symbolism" written on the side, and whacks you upside the head* ))
