Roy would be the one guy on the troop that speaks French and German. I picter him a sniper too.
d**k would be the really flirty, chatty guy who can scam his way into getting anything wanted during war.
Sounds great.
Gerard is originally Polish, so I could see him trying to get his parents back from a camp or somthing.
Maybe Damian can be some orphan German kid they pick up.

Well atleast try to put some originality without copying and pasting ideas. Match doesn't need to be a government science experiment in every universe.
Virginia will be trying to follow her family's line of soldiers, nothing too fancy, but she likes being on the front lines.
If you want to post as Roy and d**k first, that's cool, or I can post first.

As for the headlines: should the headlines that you put up for the Bugle and the Gazette be actual headlines that characters in the RP can read? Why are you craving chocolate milk? I'm aware that there's a lot of room to make a completely new story for the character in these alternate universes, but if you change around the characters that much then they're no longer the character.
I may be mistaken but it seems like the fun of these is supposed to be seeing how the characters would translate. If the only thing the characters have in common is a name then that's not a translation... that's a new character with an old name.

I may be mistaken but it seems like the fun of these is supposed to be seeing how the characters would translate. If the only thing the characters have in common is a name then that's not a translation... that's a new character with an old name. I see what you're saying, but at the same time, even some of the actual Elseworlds completely change up a character. It is okay to change everything, you know. In Gaslight (whenever you put it up), Oliver Queen isn't going to be a multi-millionaire. His parents never died, and he decides to run away and live in the forest.

Alright, we're free to make up completely new stories. Then that means we're also free to instead put the same story in a different context.
