The entire basis of my character was to be able to defeat his Elemental weakness in a war of Attrition. When I had submitted my character concept to Lance he had not informed me of that rule. If you will allow, I will change my character's shinobi skills to something else, as I'd rather not create an entirely new character. Defeat his elemental weakness? I have no Idea who your talking about, seeing as a hoshigaki's elemental weakness certainly is not water, but come on. Did you HONESTLY believe we would EVER allow something so stupidly overpowered like a D rank jutsu having A ranked power? Seriously, think these things through. his elemental weakness is doton. Before you go and get on my case about it. I had considered that fact and informed Lance what I was planning on doing. I also told him to tell me not to do it and he told me to do whatever I wanted. Now, this is in no way an attempt to contradict what your ruling. I agree with you wholeheartedly that it shouldn't be allowed. I'm just asking whether or not I can change up my character's Shinobi types, since what I originally was going to do has now been nerfed. @fenrir: My character design originally allowed me to spend 3 chakra for a B-rank to A-rank Suiton technique, whereas a Doton user would've forced to spend 5 or 7 chakra (generally speaking, if he/she had no bonuses to rank or greater than average chakra control) in order to counter it. Wait, when did I say this? I don't think I would have said yest to making E-ranked jutsus that powerful, maybe I mis-understood you, or you mis-understood me or something oh yes you completely misunderstood me. It was awhile back, If you'd like I will pm you our conversation. You thought it was an interesting concept, but either you thought I knew about this "Floating" Rule or you never did the math. I accept that my blame lies in that I didn't fully explain it but left it to your imagination. but that's beside the point. the question isn't whether I keep the ability to do so. the question I'm asking is can I switch out my shinobi types now that my awesome creation that was created through a loophole has been nerfed?

Bleh! Sorry I haven't been on! School just started and my classes are already stacking on the projects and assignments. On top of that I have to help out with volleyball and my clubs...may be gone till the weekend..and even then I have to work on assignments ... On top of everything else...my dog decided to chew thru my laptop charger cord (and one of my shoes).
..so yeah...can someone post a possible hiatus thing for me?
