"Really, though, you could have at least called me," a small, childlike vampire said, walking alongside an old friend.
Claire Pelletier rolled her eyes. "Tilla, you haven't stopped griping at me for that since you got here."
Otilla Hahne grinned brightly. "Well, I do have eternity..." Seeing the expression on her friend's face, she laughed and punched Claire gently in the arm. "I was just messing with you."
Claire grinned. "I figured. Your sense of humor hasn't changed," she paused, and then added, "...Old lady."
"WHAT?!" Ottilla screeched. "I am at least eighteen years younger than you!"
There was a pause of about three seconds before the two burst into giggles at the exact same time.
"You're crazy," Ottilla told her friend.

Shadow moved to the food and sat down. he only had a glass of blood to drink but he always liked to be close to Aurora, even while she ate. "Well, you only get the good stuff while you stay here, my love. I won't settle for you just eating anything." Shadow said.

aurora smiled as she sat down with konrad in her arms as she started to eat. "yes i know i get good stuff here.." she said as she winked at shadow and started eating again

aurora smiled as she fininshed her food as layed back in her chair with the baby in her arms "he is so small.... and cute just like you shadow cute" she said laughing a little

Shadow gave Aurora a funny look, "Im not that cute. Face it, I am a several thousand year old man that likes the younger women. I look my age if you ask me." Shadow said, partly joking but also serious about the last part.

"Hey, person!" Claire said, looking over towards a should of "Anyone home? Hello?"
Ottilla jumped up and grabbed Claire by her hand, dragging her towards the sound. Soon the two ran into an unfamiliar girl.
"Hi my name is Ottilla and this is my friend Claire and we're kinda new here and nice to meet you," Ottilla said, all in one breath and grinning.

Shadow laughed a little, "I'm not being that hard on myself and I know our son is cuter than me. How could he not be, he has alot of you in him. I feel all warm and fuzzy now. You make me feel... I guess the word is human." Shadow said.
