Querl Dox It's painless and the person it occurs to rarely notices. Karen here is the only example I have found who managed to become self-aware of her own Chronal disparities while in her home universe without fully shattering their own psyche like Ambush Bug. You flatter me, but being mobbed by a dozen hallucinations telling you that you're their mother-sister-lover-time-displaced-other-self-whatever was not exactly getting caught in the rain with Clive Owen, pina colladas, and a Sade album.

::runs a finger along the bar, seeing the dust::
...Maybe we'll hold the reception somewhere...clean.

I'm marrying Dream Girl in a couple of weeks.
Or, rather, One of my disparate dimensional selves is marrying the spirit of one of Dream Girl's disparate dimensional selves that became anchored in the subconscious of that particular self's subconscious.
It would be nice to have a reception that people who don't live in my imagination could attend.

It's an odd mix of emotions. I love her very much, of course. I love all of the women in my life. But I've never been able to take this particular step with any of them.

Just keep reminding yourself how you feel about her and the rest should all work itself out and become less intimidating.

That doesn't sound good. You were one of Querl's partners, Karen?

Nah, not really. I'm The Older One Who Only Half Fancies Him and is Mostly There For The Non-***** Fanservice.
