"come now, I acted like that alot when we first got together and it didn't stop you from attempting to seduce me every other day."
tracing a finger up her thigh and poking her belly with it lightly.
"So it's gotta have some positive effect someplace in that head of yours."

"So you're sweet talking my pillow for that reason? Now I have to get a new pillow for fear that that one may start swooning over you. That pillow is supposed to be mine and mine alone. Besides...you sounded sappy. Last I checked, girls didn't go for sappy." Shrugging, "Like I said I wouldn't go either. But I do know something really fun we can do that doesn't involve school...you gonna help me practice jousting and the like? Get to knock try and clock me off a horse and everything."
And now she was doing the clip toned thing...he swore if she got on her damn pedestal next, he was going to demolish it. But for now he gave a dismissive wave, turning on his boot heel and started downstairs. "Just get Faete to herd them all over to Twilight lands, I don't want you going back and forth across the underdark right now. You're just as much a target as anyone else is."
"It always has, greedy." She rolled her eyes playfully. "Now you're just delusional. I did not try to seduce you every other day, you only liked to think that I was because you couldn't get your mind off of me. Before we were together, you were simply lusting after me because I kept turning you down. When we did get together, if you do recall, seduction was not my forte at all nor did it come naturally for me." Catching his finger and holdin it hostage a moment just because. "If any positive affect, it probably amuses me that while you can get as such...I can disarm you with nothing but a look."

"Depends on the girl, the situation, how far you've gone with her and what you are trying to accomplish. There's a hell of a lot of strategy that goes into this." He grinned, "And I love every moment from the planning, straight on down to the execution and beyond." Though in traiditional teenage boy 'I get to knock something around with a really big stick' way he got all excited. "Of course. Like I'd pass up an opportunity to knock you on your a** and all in the name of making you a better elf. So, are we doing that now and do we have to take your extra pair of eyes and ears along for the ride?"
She watched him go and ground her teeth. He was ordering her around and that didn't sit well with her. Never had, even if it was in the interest of her safety. Her back went up instantly and she breezed down the stairs and past him. "In case you haven't noticed, Sevilin, I can take care of myself. I don't need a big, bad male like you to protect me. And I'd rather my herd stay right here." It was thrown back over her shoulder in that 'I really don't care what you think, I'm doing it my way' voice and she moved into the kitchen to make sure there were no dirty dishes around from the kids, then gestured to the playpen. "We're taking that."

before tackling her and pinning her hands down over her head, straddling her on the bed.
"I think I'm a bit harder to disarm than that. after all, I'm the big, tough, Lord of the House."

"And now women are like wars. It never ends with them." Shaking his head. One would think that he could handle such tactics, he was a planner after all....was probably because a woman never struck to your plan of action unless she had previously approved or was feeling spontaneous...of course that would be a guess as well...complicating women. But look at that he made his friend's day. "Suppose we can if we want...ask to play outside," Chuckling and rolling his eyes, "Yeah we gotta take him...he'll follow anyway. But at least we don't have to ask really, since we'll just be out in the 'front yard' so to speak."
"I didn't say you needed a 'big bad male' to protect you. It's merely a stated fact that no one needs to be going off alone anywhere right now." She was breaking out the ladder and he would be sorely tempted to knock her on her a** if that pedestal came out. She was trying to creep for it. A look to the playpen...the damn nursery was the D'vinn playpen, but he knew she probably wanted it so she could be elsewhere...and attach the baby to her hip. "Fine." Hand movement and thsu translocated playpen. But...other things weren't up for discussion as he kicked open the front door. "I'm going to go get your horses." Countering her 'I don't care what you think' with 'If you don't care, then I'll do it myself'.
"Doesn't have to be said, the proof is in the examples that I can think of. Don't be ashamed to admit it now Malik, everyone has to have a weakness." Yes now she was just playing dirty because she could and she knew that that sentence said by her was different than someone else saying it. If it was from somone else's mouth, she'd be dead right now. But a little scream as he tackled and proceeded to hold her down with both strength and body weight. To which she kneed him in the back playfully. "Of course you do, remember that huge ego you were speaking of? It makes you think such things. And yes it is that easy for me. If we're in front of others, I just happen to walk off after giving you the required look and you continue to act vicious...then you come find me with apologies and grievences to soothe me." Smirking at him.

Zykariel had to agree and knew his friend was in for it when it came to Kaelin. Girl had a reputation for changing her mind nad interests pretty often. She said she was looking around to find something that truly interested her but neither he or any of the other boys believed it. "It's like we're three again and need parental supervision." Rolling his eyes at that, but jerking open the door. "Come on you, we're going outside." Thus he headed down the stairs. "Do you have equipment necessary to do this?"
"Didn't you? Especially since you know there are ways for me to go straight from Twilight to the stables and back again. No need for travel through the Underdark like that. I'm not a complete idiot." Huffing as he took off to go do exactly what she didn't want to happen. "Sevilin! You don't like them, they're going to bite you, and I don't want them at Twilight and neither does Piper. Now don't you take another step!" Racing after him and plopping her hands on her hips. "I mean it Inthara!"

Following down he took the lead and headed to the stables, trying to ignore the shadow that they had acquired. "Doesn't take much...some chainmail or something, and well all you need is a long stick with blunt end for practice. We have plenty of that crap in the stables for various needs." Heading in there and fetching Kerick who was meandering around in his stall. A pet to the creature, ruffling a fire tipped mane. "You get to shine now too boy."
"Oh so now you're Piper's mind, are you? I didn't hear her have any objections over such a thing. In fact you didn't ask her such a thing. I'm sure she'd be just pleased as ever to know that you were trying to loose a good part of the business you two are supposed to have together. What are you gonna do Zahara, stay all the time here with them? After all the first moment they are alone here, they're liable to be snatched."
Still heading across the yard and to the stables, duly unlocking them...even if he knew it was like reaching into a viper's nest. "And dont' think my runes are going to protect them because I'm taking them down from here since we won't be here and I don't need to be spreading my resources right now. There will be nothing here to watch over them or alert you to something being wrong. Stop being stubborn."

Zykariel followed after him, glancing at all the mounts and grabbing a suitable one. Full blooded nightmare since that's what he was used to and a female at that. Some sugar and love and she was in the palm of his hands a moment later. He saddled her easily enough and then rode out to the main 'front yard.' "Bring me a suitable stick and we'll see what you got. Am I staying stationary for the first couple of tries? I think that might be best since we don't know if you can even hit a standing target on a horse."
"I could sleep in the stables!" she shot back. Grinding her teeth in irritation, she stomped her foot; childish yes, but it made her feel a little better. "You just don't get it, Sevilin. Breeding isn't supposed to happen for another four months and if our herds intermix, it makes it damn near impossible to carry out plans! Sevilin!" Hollered out as he unlocked the stables and she knew he was heading in. Cursing in irritation, she followed and started opening stall doors ushering the horses out but keeping them just outside with a few commands in drow. "Faete, my baby, take them over to Twilight. No fighting with Ramoth or anyone else and keep all of them together." Watching Faete begin rounding up his herd and snorting to get them all moving. He and Ramoth didn't get along because she felt that he was a member of her herd and he didn't agree. Turning back to her husband, arms crossed. "Happy?"

He rigged a few poles up, blunting thier ends by tying little sandbags aroudn the tips to provide some cushion too. "You have chainmail on right?" Asked as he was pulling on his own chainmail shirt. They always had one or two stashed away in here. Of course he'd he wearing armor in the tournament. Tacking and saddling up Kerick, he took both poles in hand and mounted up, trotting out and tossing a pole to his friend. "I can hit a standing target on a horse, mom taught me horseback archery, it can't be too far from that. Adjusting his hold on the pole in what he knew was proper grip before a smirk at his friend. "I say we go for it both ways. You may be the one that can't hit." Thusly a kick to Kerick.
She was being obstinate, plain and simple. "So just keep them apart. I just want them on the damn land close to Twilight. I would think your horses are smart enough to control themselves anyway." Sometimes he just wanted to shake her. But he watched as she let the horses out and gave them follow up commands. Sevilin merely shook his head. "No, I'm not happy..." Thusly turning and walking off a ways before a hand motion dispelled the runes he had around the place. "Ride Fate if you want, I'm saving my energy." And he could walk back to Twilight and brood. Damn that woman.

"Yeah. Been wearing it since I was younger." Patting his tunic where beneath the fabric, a chainmail shirt rested, much like his father's. He caught the pole and nodded. "Then you're a step ahead and this may not be so hard for you. The only thing I've ever done is fight off a fellow racer in one of the more free races. That took some serious concentration and skill and I just didn't have it at the time." He wasn't so sure he'd gotten any better either. Then again, if he was knocked on his a** too many times he'd just chalk it up to the fact that he wasn't meant to joust. Holding the pole up, he gave a nod. "Your little friend came make himself useful and say when."
She leveled her gaze on him that communicated just how ridiculous an idea that was. It was like keeping two teenagers apart when they wanted to be together, aka damn near impossible without beating one or both or making it utterly impossible for them to go anywhere. "I don't think so." Whistling for Faete to return to her, she caught Sevilin's arm. "No one should be alone right now. Unless of course you're taking back your earlier concedence that I do in fact need a protector but you don't because you're a man?"

"Which I don't like to put you in those races anyway, your horse gets hurt more than you or your opponent do." But a look to his new 'friend' who duly was compliant and thus came on the training of two inexperienced jousters who were finding out it was a lot harder than in thought and look, and they were both getting knocked from saddles...from thier own quick ended momentum rather than actually hitting and knocking each other off. After a few rounds they were realizing and correcting mistakes. "Gotta really ground your feet into the stirrups."
That was it. Turning on her, he pulled her off Faete and grabbed her firmly by the shoulders and shook her once and only one jolt. "Get off your damned pedestal!" Honestly raising his voice and actually yelling at her, which was something he didn't do often, before letting her god and stepping back from her. Looking away from her for a moment, he took a breath or two to put himself in a better frame of mind. Which meant a moment later he grabbed her by the wrist and a quick translocation rune later they were where they needed to be and he was walking away from her again into the fortress. "There...now there's no more damn argument to be damn had..."

giving a little umph as she kneed him in the back, adn duly sitting back on her legs and lifting her front up, pinning her hand behind her back instead. hmm...this was an interesting position. might be even more interesting sans clothes. but a kiss for her.

"And hold the pole at exactly the right position. Too high up and it ends up coming out of your hands. Too low and you do no good." His a** hurt. His back hurt. His head even hurt from where he'd knocked it against the ground a few times. He was almost positive tender skin was bruised and he was going to suffer when they were finally done with this. He took a deep breath and climbed back into the saddle, just as his parents popped up. His father was angry and his mother was upset. Which meant his mother had done something stupid and now they were fighting. Great. He held up his hand to Malikhai and rode over to him. "********."
Zahara's mouth dropped open and her eyes widened in surprise, both by his yelling and his shake. Sure her head jolted but it wasn't enough to actually hurt her, just get her attention. And she had been lofty, she realized, something he hated more than his sisters themselves. She stared at him a moment as he stalked away and then shook her head. "You boys be careful." Then heading into the fortress she grasped her husband's arm. "You can't just do something like that then walk away! I admit I was being stubborn and probably obstinate just because..." Pursing her lips. Gods she hated apologizing. "But you didn't have to be an a** about it," grumbling now since nothing was going to change the fact that she was in the wrong.

"If you listened I said 'when others are around'. When others are not I instantly put a stop to your ways with said look. So there right back at you." Before trying to wrench herself out of his hold as he moved to change postion to try and keep all of her fighting down. She had to admit he was inventinve at times now wasn't he? A little more struggling until she conceeded for at least the moment, negotiating escape routes and possibilties in her head. And a half playfight n** at his lip as he drew away from his kiss. "Point is...I still produce such weaknesses in you. I've brought you to your knees a time or two. I have to enjoy that now don't I?"
Pain was not fun...and was going to be literally blue and purple by the time this was all over. Oh well, no one ever got better from sitting around doing nothing all day. Had to suffer to improve. But a blink as his friend stopped him and ran over. "********? That's a harsh one for this early, what's the matter did we finally break something body related?"
He stopped again as Zahara grabbed his arm, but this time he didn't look at her, merely picked something else to occupy his eyes other than her and the look she probably had on her face. "Why can't I walk away? Because you said so? You walk away from me all the time." She did too, it was her tactic to let him know she was pissed as hell. Well this time he was the one who was pissed as hell, he just wasn't outwardly showing it. "So I'm being an a** now too. Right. You're excused because I'm being a man about it, right?" Now using her own words against her and she knew it too.
