I've always wanted a snake, or some kind of little lizard- but my mom is anti-reptile so it never happened D:

My mom had freaked at the pets we had growing up... my half brother, who is the oldest. He would bring home some crazy pets. He brought home a baby alligator before, some kind of rat snake that was like 5 feet long, and many other animals.. Needless to say, she always was like yall are taken care of them not me.. lol

@Starling - That he does. He loves to hide under that pirate skull. Its so fitting for him... when I upgrade his tank. I am putting a small skeleton buried in the bedding, with its arms legs and head only showing blaugh

I always wanted a snake too. But my family has had turtles, a dog, 2 cats, mice, hamsters, lovebird (who is snuggling against my hand right now), 3 budgies, and a cockatiel (RIP Dexter crying ), and then fish.

We've had lots of interesting pets. That I can remember, on the standard side, we've had a total of seven dogs, nine cats, three parakeets, one cockatiel, six guinea pigs, one hamster, two gerbils, and a dwarf rabbit. On the unconventional side, we've had a wild rabbit, a wild toad, a tree frog we found in our yard (didn't think we had them in Ohio but hey, it was cute), a praying mantis, and about five squirrels. Plus any number of stray animals we've picked up and a few wild birds that we tried to sustain after their nest got blown out of a tree.

I want a Praying Mantis pretty bad.. I think they are awesome.

I can't help but save a animals life if they are a stray and at my door and I know I can take care of them.. I am so loving to animals.

We've had 4 dogs, 3 cats, a plethora of fish, two cockatiels, four finches, and an iguana. No pets now. That's a good thing as things are less stressful if I do not have to defend things from abuse. THough mom still has her death play with injured birds and rabbits she finds in the yard.

We always had pets while I was growing up too. Mostly cats and dogs. Also a big fish tank with various fresh water fish and other things. Once it was overrun with snails. lol As a kid I thought that was pretty cool but I can see now why my parent were frustrated by it.

I also had a number of different guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, and gerbils.

Now it's one cat and one dog.

If I ever get somewhere where I could have a pet of my own in a good environment, I think I would have a cat or a skunk. If I had a huge compound, I would probably have a herd of patagonian maras – just to make people crash their cars when the drive by and can't figure out what they are.

I had to look that one up....

Titan's legacy evolved again. We've entered the flaming wood stage or something.

It may just be Gaia acting up. Or even imageshack. Give it a day and if it's still not showing up for some members, I'll reload it

beware that the adults will eat the babies... I'm assuming that since you didn't know you don't have a spare tank set up?
