to pick a flower Akimbo to pick a flower Dear AG, I, Rachel A, have experienced the greatest tragedy. Epic tragedy. After about 2 months of my computer not starting, I decided to use the system recovery option. There are two kinds of this.. system recovery. One kind does not delete your files. The other one does. Do not get this confused with the "system restore." Now. I tried the first kind of system restore, the one that would not remove my musics and animes. It froze part of the way through. I was forced to manually restart. Upon restarting, and re- recovering... It failed. Again. I had to take drastic measures. I have lost 20-30 gig of music and about 4 years of writing, my own digital artwork from those years ( including full websites I've designed ), every program I've accumulated, and all of my animes along with a very large accumulation of artwork. ( By large i mean it rivaled my music collection in size... ) *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighs.* Additionally... My boyfriend of 6 months is moving back to California in about a month to start classes for his PS Masters beginning on Jan 20th. How shall I cope? Finals are next week! We may lose our house! Epic stress. Epic loss. All the things that comfort me when I'm upset have been erased. Computer, you have never let me down. Not in 4 years. Why now? crying cry Poor Rachel. crying heart ..I could send you that one song, you know, that song. Also..to cope, you can come visits me. I will give you Disney movies and liquor, along with smokes. when did you get to know me so well? crying I'm just good like that lol

Peppermint Elf I'm wondering if I should hold a drawing or something for real life prizes to be sent out with the christmas cards. I have a bunch of stuff knitted up that is just sitting around waiting to be loved. wink

3 white scarves (f)
1 red hat
1 pair of black and white mittens
1 pair of slippers
1 brown scarf (m)
Everything is machine washable. Slippers can easily be dyed to any color (gotta love kool-aid dying!). 3nodding
Maybe a grand prize of 1 pair of hand knitted socks in the winner's choice of colors? Would anyone be interested in this? Of course, it would have to be limited to the people who signed up for xmas cards (since I have their addresses). Or should I just... randomly gift these babies and play favorites? twisted
(Oh... and Mala would be excluded from this contest. I've already bought her a gift. domokun ) I read the bold item and immediately thought "REDCAP!!!!". I think Rando-gifting them would rock. Total surprises are awesome. Me, I'm getting excited about the cards. Luna and I bought the cards we'll be sending out, and I just finished addressing envelopes and choosing which card designs to send each of you... and let me say that I'm following through on a long-standing threat to all the Californians but the gatorized ones. Tomorrow, Luna and I should begin figuring out what to write in everyone's cards and have them in the mail shortly.

Also noticed it was there and was most confused. gonk That makes no sense.
Also, big fail for breaking computers of flower-Rachel and Suyo. Boo. crying
Big win for invisi-Aki. surprised Now she can spy on people even better. Yay.not only have i lost anything i still cant run my favorite game without getting the blue screen of death/windows just turning off and restarting on it's own. :/ anyone got any free software to fix the windows "close/stop error"?

I wish I knew how to knit stuff like that. gonk heart It might be a while before I'm able to send my cards because as far as I know, all of my holiday card stuff is at my parents' and I won't be heading back up there until just before Christmas, and that's the worst time to be sending mail. I might as well mail everything on the 26th... sweatdrop Holy s**t, I just found them. xd

Edit: I should also add for the people who live on the surface of the sun... the scarves are lacy, so they're cool enough to wear there without you roasting your asses off. lol That said, they're not warm enough for January for people who live on planet Earth. ninja Sorry. Hey, um, AGers? Does anyone have a spare katana I could borrow for a little bit? I want to do an entry into the arena, and I kind of think the katana would be a bit better for what I had planned as opposed to a rapier. (It's supposed to be a ninja - either or works, but I think the katana MIGHT be a better fit.) So, here's a mockup of what I was thinking of entering:  Missing black wool top, and arm positioning is ********, but that's not overly important. I'll throw on the rapier version right now for comparison. [edit]Ewps. Now I have TWO trade requests. gonk Not only that, Gaia's broken and my old avatar is still showing up, even though I saved it.
