Tye winced as it drifted by again.
"I-i've heard in tales how sea dragons live in these smaller oceans..."
he felt it vrush up against his leg and, no doubt, he felt scales.

"I've heard that too, but I've never seen one" Kysha said, but she did feel the water shifting underneath them, there was definitely something there.

Tye jumped as it bruched up against him again.
what do you want me for?
The water creature wrapped itself around Tye's leg and bursted out of the water. it was at least ten feet high, and it still had most of its body under.
it was a sea dragon all right... and a big one... and Tye was now being held nine feet in the air by its scaley neck.

Tye panicked. the first thing he did was head-but the dragon's head. but he only succeded in hitting another portion of his neck, knocking himself out due to the scales.

"Dammit Tye...." Kysha said when she saw what he tried to do. She used a bit of magic to make herself float above the water, she looked the dragon square in the eyes and then tried to use telepathy to communicate with it Mighty Dragon of the water, please, give the one you hold back to me she thought to it.

when the voice came back, it was female and smooth.
it seems you can use magic... and talk with me... though, i do ask for a good reason why. she shook her head and all of the water that had stuck to her fell back to the ocean, revealing red scales. her eyes only reflected the red.

Yes, I can use magic and talk to you Kysha said I ask that you give the man back to me, because he is helping me stop a war over a forest on the other side of the ocean. I myself cannot join a living battle, for I am an angel of the gods. So that man you hold and I are going to see his chief who is supposed to be nearby, to see if we can stop the war from happening. So, please give him back to me.

Well........because one side wants to protect the forest and its inhabitants and the other wants to hunt the inhabitants and sell the forest for money. Kysha said So please let him go and us continue on our way to his chief.

The Dragon seemed to thing about it for a long while.
Finaly, one last question... why would you think that i would care about the inhabitants in a forest... when i have the ocean?
Tye shook as he heard the question, too. though, he was still unconcious.
it's a trick question!
He tried as hard as he could to return to himself, but failed miserably.

(how could Tye hear the question if the Dragon and Kysha are talking telepathically?)
Kysha went wide-eyed for a moment, she heard what Tye said B-because, if there is no inhabitants, then......... the truth was, Kysha didn't know I-I don't know, but there are people who do care, like me and Tye, the man you are holding. We are trying to protect it, because if we don't and it gets destroyed, the people will start hunting in the water, cutting your food down to very little, I guess is why you should care.

well... close enough... the correct answer would have been something along the lines of the Yin and Yang attributes. like, 'i can't survive without my oposite'. but... i never had someone who could talk with me telepathicaly. and you claim to be an angel? i will let you go... though i don't think swimming is a very good idea... you'd never reach the shore...
She started to think again.
perhaps if i were to throw you... could work...

(but only the dragon can hear Kysha, so unless the dragon told Tye what Kysha was saying, he couldn't know what she was saying. and you never said the dragon was talking to both Kysha and Tye. razz )
