"One more time," said Gennosuke after studying the seal. He placed his fingers and hand together and then modified his hands to the right positions. Thumbs up, pinkies down, and pointers, middles, and ring fingers bringing hands together. He compared his handseal to the books. "Got it," he said with a smile. Yet another seal complete.

He looked at the snake handseal and knew it would be easy. "It's just the dragon handseal without the thumbs and pinkies up," he said to himself. He put his hands together and formed the dragon seal. He then put thumbs and pinkies down so that they were crossing each other like the first three fingers. He compared the seals and he knew he had made a good reflection of the seal.

"Ummm," he said unsure of how to do the seal. He put his hands together and tried to make the seal. He knew he had gotten it wrong even before he compared the two. "Hard seal number three," he said getting irritated.

He put his hands together and modified them a little too much making a seal that was more off than the first one. "Ugh," he sighed taking his hands apart and relaxing his body making it limp. "I am never going to get this seal," he said. He hated that he was half way through and was still having problems.

He studied it for a moment and then tried the make the seal again. He put his hands together and modified them to fit the picture. After making the careful changes he compared his handseal to the book's picture. "Yes," he said proudly seeing that he got the seal right.

He looked at the Ram seal and then tried to make his hands go into the same position. After making some changes he compared his handseal to the books. Again he had gotten it right. He smiled glad that he was almost through with the training. This made him think though. He wondered what their next task would be after learning the seals.

It was the monkey seal. The placed his hands one palm on top of the other thinking it was correct. He compared the two seals and found his to be off. "Okay so your going to be hard seal number four," he said sighing. "Why couldn't this training just come to me easily," he thought to himself. He hoped he would get the seal correct on his next try.

He modified his hands again and like some of his past seals it only looked worse. He figured his problem was he was trying to rush and finish the seals, in which he was, but only cause he wanted to see what Andou was teaching Batosai. He had been to the academy prior to Gennosuke and Ren so he probably knew all of the stuff that Gennosuke and Ren would have to do. "I'll have to ask him after class," said Gennosuke hoping to get the scoop on the tasks ahead.

He put his hands together making minut changes and then he compared the seals. He looked at the back and forth at the book's seal and his seal to make sure his was correct. "Nine down and three to go," he said to himself. If he wanted to know what Batosai and Andou were doing he would have to get his training done first.

The handseal was Bird. "Umm...," said Gennosuke unsure of the seal. He had spoken of finishing his training but this seal looked to be harder that the past ones. He put his hands together and tried to make the seal. He compared his seal to the books and they did not match. "Darn it," he said taking his hands apart.

He adjusted his fingers to what he thought were yet again the proper places but after looking at the book he saw that it was all wrong. "This sucks," he though to himself. He was so close to finishing and here he was having problems with the tenth seal. He'd never get to see what Andou and Batosai were doing if he kept messing up on his seals.

This time he completely did it the wrong way. He didn't even have to look at the book to know that the seal he just made was wrong. He took his hands apart and rested for a minute. He was focusing too much on Andou and Batosai. Maybe that was his problem. Maybe that's why he couldn't get his seal correct.

This time it was way closer to the seal in the book yet still not the seal in the book. He took his hands apart and sighed lightly. His mind was still on Batosai and Andou. He decided to take his mind off of them and get his brain on his training. Maybe then he would get the correct seal.

This time when he compared his seal to the book's he noticed he had a finger in the wrong place. "Nothing in the world should take this long to learn," he though to himself. This was his fourth or fifth time doing this seal and it was giving his way too much trouble. He wondered if Ren had trouble doing this seal. He had been so focused on his training and BatoxAndo that he forgot that Ren was in the classroom with him.

He made made the handseal once again and, without looking at the book, knew he had failed again. "Come on," he said trying to focus. He stopped and took another look at the book. Why was this seal giving his so much trouble. It made the lesson tedious and boring. This was something he was suppose to fly through but clearly the lesson had other plans.
