"No," Nina replied, "I hadn't come to do anything of the sort-- I was out to heal the Pokemon I'd used in my Gym battle earlier." Her voice was calm, and she didn't want to start anything.
"And, this? His name's Raimundo. He's my boyfriend, and we decided to go out on a walk," she stated simply. "Why do you care?"

Tch. Knew it. Kilik rolled his eyes and turned his back. "Well, have fun with that," he waved casually at the two, "Maybe you'll know when he's helping you, should the situation ever arise!" he called out, turning the street corner and disappearing from the two. He shook his head. Two days! he thought angerily, Two days and she's already roped another sap! I swear, she's a succubus! Kilik paused to remove his backpack, then placed it on the ground. He unzipped it and fumbled with the collapsable bike.
"Damn..thing..never works!" he barked, finally getting it unfolded. He put his bag back onto his shoulder then swung a leg over the seat and leaned back, thinking through his next actions. Celeadon's Game Corner...And Rena's in Celadon... he bit his lip, Would she see me if I went? He pressed his foot against the pedals and began to move towards the city's gate, very quickly. It was at that moment, he felt that the Mach Bike was his greatest investment.

Nina bit her bottom lip, and dashed off after Kilik, leaving Raimundo standing near the Pokemon Center's doors; she watched him pedaling off towards Celadon City. "Rai won't abandon me for the group of people who were responsible for killing off my sister and nearly killing me!" she screamed. "Come back here, you coward! I will not allow you to disrespect me in my own Gym and then run away!"

Kilik skidded to a halt, leaving a skid mark on the city's street. He hung his head low, his hair shadowing his eyes. He shook his head slowly. "Do you think...that I care?" he looked up, his face still shadowed by the street lamp he stopped under. His lips were the only visible facial feature. "You still don't understand...not a damn thing." Kilik planted a foot on the ground to steady himself on the bike.
"I don't have time to explain to you," he shook his head, looking up at the street lamp, "Nor would you even care. So, I think we should end this here. It would probably be best if we..." he lifted an arm to his invisible eyes and wiped silent tears away on his sleeve, "Don't see each other again. You obviously don't understand why I did what I did, no matter how much I try to explain it..." he slammed his eyes shut.
"So why don't you just go back to your boyfriend!? I never want to see you again, Nina!" he barked, "Get out of my life and stay out!" he picked his foot up and pushed against the pedals of his bike, disappearing through the city's gate towards Celadon.

"Oh my god, would you get over yourself already?!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, running after him again-- she was really getting a workout. "Everything you did, you thought you were helping me-- I've got news for you! It was all for nothing! You pledged your allegience to that team again because you thought you'd to help protect me from Maorde but all you did was end up screwing over something that was once beautiful! All of it was for naught, because I've got news for you! Despite the fact he has no conscience, my own father would never kill me!"

"Mawile I want you to escape using Faint Attack agian!" Larry shouted hoping that his pokemon would be able to hear him through the sand covering her. Apparently she had for a second latter she appeared on top of Bahamut and landed another attack before landing ontop of the sand pile again. It also seemed like being burried under the sand hadn't helped her get the sand out of her eyes from the Sand Attack. As soon as she was out she started rubbing at her eye's again, it really hurt to get it in your eye's
Dante meanwhile didn't to much like the fact that the other pokemon had escaped again. "Bahamut, use your Crunch attack on that annoying pokemon!" Dante didn't really care that dark attack's didn't really do all that much damage against steel type's they had never seen his pokemon's jaws at work. Always liking the fact that she got to bite someone or something Bahamut was all to happy to comply swooping down the dragonfly like pokemon didn't even give the other pokemon a chance to get out of the way before she bit the other pokemon right in the face.
Feeling the fang's sink in the Mawile let out a screech of pain before it moved it's much larger jaw up over it's head and used the large teeth on it to preform a Vice Grip attack on Bahamut. Feeling the pain Bahamut gave a sharp cry herself and managed to turn her body so that it was facing the larger jaw and started Biting that instead all the while leaving large teeth mark's on it. Cishashwi managed to avoid the first Surf bullet but was unfortunate enough to be hit by another one. This beating, however, was not enough to stop her from landing her own attack moments later upon Tsunami. The agile Vaporeon quickly swam away by using a Water Gun to propel herself as the two prepared for another round of undersea battle. Instead of Surf, Tsunami sent off a few small Water Guns as teaser rounds before she sent off the bigger Surf in an accurate pulse at Cisashwi.
The Barboach was able to swim past every single Water Gun but was once more nailed by the Surf. She was feeling quite fatigued now, and if one could pant underwater, she would have been. Tsunami was only a little better off than her opponent. The battle had elevated closer to the surface of the water, and the sun had set even more, reducing the glare on the water so both trainers could now see (despite the less than stellar lighting) what was happening. "One more Surf!" Mag commanded seeing that the battle would be his if the next move was to work.

Kilik stopped again, then pushed his bike to the ground. It clattered loudly against the tile. He was relieved that the guard was gone. "I'm not affliated with them!" he barked, "Giovanni doesn't control who I am or what I do! I've only chosen to not attack them when Maorde appears again!" His fist was shaking. He made advances towards her, so much that she was pinned to the desk that the guard normally stood behind.
"Don't...you understand?" he whispered, calming down a bit, "If they ever were to attack you," he explained, "or asked me to do something outside what I agreed to...I would sever all ties with them.." he looked at Nina then shook his head.
"I still..care very much about you, Nina.." and with that, Kilik smashed his lips against hers in a very deep lip lock. He didn't care.

Nina wasn't expecting this at all. A million thoughts raced through her mind at a thousand miles a minute--
Oh my god, Raimundo! He-- what would he say?
But, this is Kilik... he was the first person who genuinely cared about me.
It's wrong, though! Just an hour ago, Rai had already agreed to be my boyfriend and this is happening!
I can't deny that somewhere underneath my hard exterior, there's still a few feelings left for Kilik, though...
But, Rai's been perfect to me! Kind, loving, understanding-- Kilik betrayed me!
She stopped thinking, and kissed him back. Her conscience was screaming at her that this was wrong and she'd almost surely be punished for it later on, but... that didn't matter. The first person whom she shared reciprocal feelings with was kissing her again.
It felt like they were like that for hours or more, when the actual time was nowhere near that amount. Eventually, she broke it off, stepping away from the desk. She cradled both elbows in her palms.
"What... just happened?"

Kilik backed away, leaning against the opposite wall and staring at her. Did he really just do that? No, no..it was a dream. His lips were warm and he knew for a fact that it really happened. Yet, he hated her, didn't he? Not even ten minutes ago, he said he never wanted to see her again.
"I..don't know," he placed his right hand on his left shoulder and shifted slightly uncomfortably, "I'm sorry, I...don't know what came over me.." he looked away and walked towards his bike, picking it up slowly then leaning it against the wall. He blinked at the girl, then wondered exactly why she didn't scream or hit him or something of that nature.

With both pokemon bitting each other Dante thought it was about time to regain a bit of Bahamut's health, even if Grass attack's didn't do much damage to the other, at least it was some and they would be getting more health. "Bahamut use Giga Drain!"
"Mawile stop it with your Astonish!" Larry cried out.
Both pokemon moved to obey there trainer's, Bahamut's eye's glowed slightly as she started to activate her TM move. It seemed though that for once the Mawile was faster then the dragon pokemon and used Astonish, which just Dante's luck caused Bahamut to flinch before she could use Giga Drain. Luckily it didn't do to much damage and Bahamut shook it off fairly easily. Frusterated, and wanting to be let go Bahamut used Crunch again causing the other pokemon to give a cry and let go not expecting the Vibrava to recover so quickly. Now free from her prison Bahamut flew high up into the air wanting to stay away from the other one with a big jaw. She had never really meet anyone who could bite something as much as she could.
"Bahamut I want you to use Sand Tomb again! It's a steel type and they are weak to ground attack's!" Dante shouted up to her. Now understanding her trainer's earlier comand for her to use that Bahamut filled her mouth with sand again and moved to dump it over the other pokemon.
"Mawile use Iron Defense." Just in time the steel type pokemon seemed to harden up and she gained an almost matalic sheen before the ton's of sand got dumped on her. DANTE'S COIN'S ?/9,999

"Kilik... it's not that I don't want to be with you," Nina said, holding her ground, almost afraid to approach him to see his reaction, "but... I'm with Rai right now. I know that's nowhere near as good of a reason that you'd like to hear, but..." She sighed, looking down at the ground-- she felt embarrassed to look him in the eye. "If... if there's some way, I'd still like to be your friend. I'm tired of screaming everytime I see you."
After she spoke, she recalled a song she'd once heard, beginning to play in her head.

He nodded. "I understand. He got there first," he smiled weakly, "You must like him a lot to accept his offer." Kilik uncrossed his arms and walked over to his bike, placing his hands on the handlebars. "I hate yelling at you," he whispered, "And I apologize for what I said in your Gym...it was wrong of me. Very wrong." He swung a foot over the seat and sat down.
"I'll see you around, Nina." He looked at her one last time before placing his foot on the pedal. He didn't budge. It was like he was waiting for her to say something in return.

"He's a sweetie, that's for sure," Nina replied, "but I can't compare him to you. You both have extremely redeeming qualities that've drawn me in, but... Well, I can't compare one of you to the other. And, I wish you well, okay? You know that I'm just a Pokenav call away, if you ever want to talk to me about anything."
She tilted her head a little and smiled. "I'll see you around, Kilik." She approached him, giving him a one-armed hug so that she wouldn't knock him off of his bike, and stepped away. She seemed to want to say something else, but didn't; instead she had whispered a goodbye to him, and walked out the door, going back to Raimundo, whom she had abandoned back at the Pokemon Center.

Kilik sighed and pedaled out of the housing, staring at the path ahead. That all really just happened. Two days of hatred and animosity between them, all taken away by one bone-headed kiss. Well, he couldn't really call it bone headed. Had he not done it, then they'd still be at each other's throats. The boy took a sharp turn, then another around a bend of trees. An owl hooted in the distance as he biked.
"Celadon's pretty bright at night.." he said, squinting ahead a bit. He could see the lights from the Game Corner glimmering in the night. A weak smile appeared on his lips, "I can't wait to get into the arena and show off just what I can do!" he laughed. He pedaled faster, pushing the Mach Bike to its limit.
