It's kind of an old game, isn't it? I think it was released around 2000, and Vista hates games made early in XP's lifespan or earlier.

Hmmm....the only experience I have is Starcraft and Warcraft III, and they seem to run alright last time I played them- though that has been a while.

Worms Armageddon won't run on XP with SP3, but will be previous SPs. Then again, computers are individually finnicky.

Tell me about it! Mine has decided to completely ignore the cd drive, and the only thing that might work bringing it back is a factory reset again . . . and I REALLY don't wanna do that.

Sorry, I was away for the weekend.
That happened to my parent's old computer.
If you have an external drive, doing a factory reset wouldn't be so bad. Still, the hassle of backing-up, reinstalling, and transferring back is time-consuming.
I myself just got an old cd game (1999) that Vista refuses to run. Anxiously waits for Windows 7 to arrive.

Well, I am hoping that if it comes to such, the factory reset will work still before windows loads. sweatdrop As for backup, that isn't so big a problem thanks to my thumb drive(s)!

It would be nice to get the drive back. Then again, this system is like 2 years old, which is not a good thing for Laptops, from what I understand.

I'm not sure about that. I don't often mess with hardware.
The recent announcement about mprovements to the GGN, many of which we have been wanting (the vice captain takeover protection fixes what I'm sure has been a huge problem in some guilds), seem great! Seeing as you and the crew are the only ones I know who can comment on it, how do you like it?
