((don't worry, Aura's calmed down some since Davina arrived.))
Aura shoved her way through the door and mess at the counter and looked around for a place to wait the ordeal out. Eyeing a clear spot next to a hooded figure she wove her way there and settled in. Looking to the figure next to her she noticed she was next to a boy. Whispering to him she smiled, "I've never seen the coffee shop so crazy before, have you?"

Bastian nearly jumped out of his skin with a soft cry, his shades sliding down his nose and revealing his eyes. Seeing the blonde, he was immediately, for some reason, reminded of his sister. He shook off lightly and shook his head, pushing his shades back up and muttering, lightly, "Wouldn't know, this is my first day in town."

That's because I'm not dead...Rei growled, narrowing his eyes at the boy. I was chosen to keep souls in line. One of my mother's lovers decided that I was good for the job and threw it at me. A shudder cascaded through his body and he shook his head, glancing to the table that seated his lover. I'm in the process of giving that job back to the idiot's brother, who had it before me.

Aurora moaned lightly, "I am so sorry then," looking his face over she smiled. "You remind me of someone I met once," she blurted out. Shaking her head she looked over at the counter and frowned, "What would you like to drink?"

He blinked, mown over by her, and not entirely objecting it, either. What the hell, Bianca could wait for her coffee. He blushed a little at her continued proximity, but didn't object. "Ummm, mocha, double espresso."

Smiling softly she nodded and moved to stand more in front of him, "Double shot mocha it is, then." Moving off towards the counter she shoved her way behind started to make herself a latte and the obviously shy boy his mocha.

"Oh, please excuse me. I didn't .... mean to uh, ask about something upsetting." He followed Rei's eyes to the boy at the table, but didn't comment. "I didn't know people like you existed ... I allways thought death was just a ... natural force that worked on it's own."

He looked surprised, then away completely as she slipped behind the counter. Not realizing she worked ehre, he'd started to pull out his wallet to pay whoeve was, and ask her what e could get HER. So much for starting out charming.

Finishing the drinks, she slipped money under the register and wrote out a note to the barister explaining what the money was for. Making her way back to the boy she held his coffee out for him and sipped a little at hers. "That was much easier than waiting, don't you agree?"

He smiled wryly and nodded, taking a long drink despite the temprature adn not seeming to be dismyed or burned. "Much, thank you," he peeped, slightly uncomfortably at the girl paying.

Death can be whatever you want it to be...Rei muttered, shrugging a shoulder as he looked back over the counter to see what was taking so long. Shaking his head, he looked back to Nema. Maybe your sister's seen what there is to offer and would rather stay as she is. he offered, shrugging a shoulder before reaching through the counter to the display of muffins below the glass, grabbing one and pulling it through, examining it before pulling the top off of it and setting it aside.

Chewing on her bottom lip she smile very lightly and blushed, "I'm sorry, I've been too forward haven't I?" Looking down at her drink she continued to sip at it quietly, not sure if she should leave or continue trying to talk.

"I ... don't think there's much of her left, really." He grinned, although it looked pretty pathetic, as smiles go.
Watching the muffin selection, he put his hand up to his mouth to stifle a chuckle of amusement.

He shook his head, a little too hard, and stuck out his hand, awkwardly, swallowing heavily.
"M'name's Bastian."

Rei shrugged, not really caring to continue the conversation regarding the dead - That tended to bore him nowadays. He paused before taking a bite of the muffin, and offered it to Nema. Would you like some? he asked, an eyebrow sort of raised to the boy.
