The character with an ability to fight without being able to see what's around him. He goes around telling everyone that it's because he can hear and smell them. However this is proved wrong when the characters rival (who happens to be the hero) is trying to hide in a forrest and cover his sent by going through a river. It is never revealed how he is actualy able to fight while blind folded.

The optional boss in every RPG that protects the games most powerful weapon, though by the time you're strong enough to beat him, you no longer need said weapon.

The bounty hunter that was hired by the villian to take out the hero. Near the end of the game, he betrays the villian for some reason or another to join the hero's team.

The villainess that is blindly loyal to the Main villain. She is either in love with the villian, or has someone baing held captive by him so the villian can use her special abilities.

The CPU that you think is evil, but has actually just been misjudged by the world. If you choose a 'good' reaction then he is redeemed and fights at your side, if you choose a 'bad' reaction he will turn evil and work against you in the final battle.

The ol' Switcharoo: The character that begins the game helping the Protagonist, only to betray his trust in the first hour. The Protagonist spends the rest of the game chasing the Switcharoo, even though she's not really the Big Bad (which is only revealed in the final hour of gameplay).
