The eager Vaporeon also leaped from the side of the boat, landing in the water elagently. She made happy sounds as she swam around. "I knew you couldn't resist," Kasiya said, holding Adamantine in her arms, who was busy eyeing the water suspiciously. "Yeah, not a friend to rock and ground type Pokemon," Kasiya giggled, giving the rocky little baby a kiss on the nose.

"Forget being stealthy," Kasiya grumbled, watching Mike run off again.

"Lar," agreed Adamantine, shaking her head. "Come on, Ariel," Kasiya called. The reluctant Vaporeon soon met her on the sandy beach, looking sad her swim had to come to an end so soon. "When this is all over, we'll spend the day swimming, I promise," she said, holding up a Pokeball and recalling her. "You'll be safer inside too," Kasiya said, doing the same to the Larvitar and clicked both Pokeballs onto her belt, which she'd strapped on just before leaving. "I guess we wait for Sabrina's instruction," she said softly, looking around to get a good view of the suroundings.

He dashed into the tall grass, Portabello following swiftly behind. He put a finger over his mouth and shushed his Pokemon, the Breloom slinking down into full sneak mode. The duo snuck along, just having fun when a huge surge of electricity blasted away the grass in front of them. "What the he-" Mike started, but had to stop because of another attack heading straight for him. He dove out of the way, telling Portabello to get ready because:



"Portabello! What luck!" He pointed to the wild Pokemon. "I guess all those slips, falls and broom closets will finally be paid for!"

Portabello chirped, readying himself for the next attack.

"Flaaa!" The sheep Pokemon shrieked, firing a Thundershock at the Breloom, striking him hard.

Man, that things tough! Portabello dug his feet into the ground. But I'm tougher! With that he dashed off, pulling his signature Sky Uppercut move.

Regaining its balence, the electric Pokemon grappled onto Portabello midflight, shocking him with an intense blast of energy.

Stupid move! Portabello sent the message telapathically, confusing the Flaafy. He followed up with a barage of Headbutts, the point blank range caused the wild Pokemon to flinch with almost every one. Landing on top of the electric Pokemon, He motioned for Mike to toss the Ultra Ball, and he promptly did so.

The ball barely wobbled before the red light dimmed. Mike ran over and patted his victorious Pokemon on the head, a bit amazed at how well he handeled himself. "You took out alot of anger on that one didn't you?" He asked with a laugh. Portabello merely smiled.

"Yo buddy could you be a dearie and bring our new friend Beacon to the Pokemon Center while I buy a new TM for him and maybe you?"

The Breloom took the Ultraball and tore off for the Pokemon Center. Mike walked back to the Mart, browsing through the TMs.

Mike jumped a little, almost dropping the two TMs on the floor. "Hi Nina!" He walked over to the counter and paid 4,500 Pokedollars for the two TMs and exited the Mart with his friend. "I just caught a Flaafy." He proclaimed with pride, Portabello returning with Beacon's Pokeball. "Sorry buddy, no TM for you today, I promise next time I'll get you one though!"

Portabello chirped, dissapointed, but he knew Mike would keep his word so he shrugged it off.

He relased Nitro and Beacon, the Charizard happy to be in the sun again. He looked around and noticed the Flaafy. "Wait, who's he?" He asked puzzled. "A new member of the team?"

"A team?" Beacon questioned the rather tall Charizard. "That sounds cool!" He clapped his little paws together and jumped up and down, static building up.

"Here you go little buddy, a brand new move for you." Mike placed the TM on Beacon's head, it doing the usual power up and color fade. He turned his attention to Nitro, who was happy to see a new face in the crowd. "Here you go Nitro, this one you'll enjoy." Mike handed him the TM. "It's called Sunny Day. Whenever you're out in the rain use this and the sun will instantly shine down on you!"

The three Pokemon began to get aqquanted as Mike turned to Nina. "I gotta go deposit Proton in the PC, wanna tag along?

"Alrighty then." Mike shouted out to his chatty Pokemon. "You guys stay there, we'll be right back!" Looking down to the cute Oddish. With that he entered the Pokemon Center and booted up the PC. Selecting the "Move Pokemon" feature, he found his home PC and deposited Proton's Pokeball in the tube. "You behave for my mom!" He said down the tube as the Pokeball telaported away. He got up and left the Center. "All done!"

Nina nodded, acknowledging Mike's words. She headed toward the door, and exited with him.

"In a way," she said, "I... uhm. I'm a little bit nervous about this whole 'mission' thing, and rescuing Kilik... If he's really been brainwashed, then I've got no clue as to how I could possibly make him remember who we are. And I was thinking before Sabrina nearly killed us on the boat... what happens when we find him again? What happens if we can't undo the damage Giovanni's done?" Her gaze shifted to the side for a moment. "Then, this would have all been for nothing, and I would have put you all in danger for no reason."
