"I'm trying to be myself, but a more responsible version of myself." Killian was seated on the couch with his new pup. It was a Black Lab, he had always wanted a Black Lab. He had never dreamed he would actually get one, because he knew nothing about dogs. He ruffled the puppy's head playfully.
"I am really into this parenting thing. If I had known I would like it so much I maybe would have made a few more mini me's. I'm kidding! Kidding! I don enjoy it though." He watched as the puppy jumped off the couch and returned to his food in the kitchen.
"Dogface is a name!" He replied defensively.
"Hey....quick question before you go, I know you have work to do." He grew silent.
"What are you wearing Di?" He asked then chuckled.
"Bye doll!" He said before she could answer and hung up. He enjoyed flirting with her, though he kept it light and playful. He wasn't about to try to get involved with a woman who was unavailable.

Moira sat back down, and peered around at her men. "Aw! Most of my boys are HOME. I love it when they are all here." Jesse smirked at Moira and patted her hand.
"No idea why anyone would want this lot about." He replied though it was clear he was fond of Moira. Lincoln burped loudly, and then stood up.
"Grabbing some sodas, anybody else want one?" He asked as he patted his stomach.
"I will take one, and some of those cookies Moira baked earlier."
"Gotcha!" He responded and disappeared into the kitchen, returning a few minutes later.
"I need to be going. I am watching Thomas tonight. Boys, stay out of trouble. The casserole needs to come out in about fifteen minutes boys. Don't burn it, or your dinner will be ruined!" Moira warned as she stood up and gathered her purse. She kissed each of her 'boys' on the top of their heads and disappeared.

Jesse glanced over at Jasper, a small grin on his face. He punched his shoulder.
"Things are better around here...Black and his posse are gone. Black is locked up, and they are going to bring charges against him."
"Eh. I really doubt they will. With Cadie missing, who will speak against him or Drayton?" Jesse frowned.
"They have enough to charge them both I am sure. Attempted murder. They gathered plenty of proof before she went missing. She will turn up."
"Doubt it. I think she is dead." Lincoln said as he popped open his soda.
"Linc..." Linc looked at Jesse then Jasper.
"What? I am sure the thought already occurred to Jasper. He isn't an idiot." Jesse shook his head.
"ANYWAY! Things are good around here! Everyone is calmer, happier. Killian is a Dad. Things are changing around here."

Lena placed her hand over Archie's and smiled at him. "Sounds like a peaceful day. I have to admit I am a bit jealous." She slipped off the counter and fussed about over dinner a few more minutes. Then she returned to her spot on the counter.
"I was going to be getting away for a long weekend...any interested in joining me? A day or so?" The stress she could release if left alone with Archie for a couple of days.
"Need to get away...the whole thing with Cadie now missing is really...just exhausting me. I am constantly worried sick, every time the phone rings I am am wondering if it will be the call that changes everything. That maybe they retrieved her body. The turds they arrested are claiming they have no idea where she is. Not that anyone really believes them..." She leaned across the counter and grabbed another banana.

"Black is dead to us. Orion is buying him out of the businesses. He has been in protective custody thus far. It is probably the only reason he and Ben are even still alive." Titus admitted.
"Orion wants them both dead. Black was like a brother to him. His betrayal...it just is hard on everyone."
"Lena doesn't show her face around here anymore. Moira occasionally still talks to her. From what Moira has said Lena hasn't given up hope that Cadie is alive somewhere. She just thinks the men are hiding her. That they are using her as a bargaining chip." Lincoln shook his head.
"I am not sure I buy that...they found her blood at the home when they searched it."
"Not a lot of blood. They found the blood in the bedroom along with the two se...samples." Jesse caught himself and cut himself off. He knew Jasper had a soft spot for Cadie for so long, and that didn't just disappear overnight.
"I think Killian knows where she is." Lincoln announced.
"Thought you believed she is dead? Which I think is dumb for the record. Girl is a survivor. Those two dumb ******** didn't kill her. Not with how much Ben was enjoying flaunting her."
"I'm saying....IF she is alive still, Killian had a hand in it. If you notice he is the only one who was close to her that doesn't get upset when you mention she is missing or possibly dead." Lincoln took a quick sip of his soda.
"Why? Because he knows she is squared away somewhere. He is probably hiding her, why I am not sure. He should at least let her Mother know though."
"Heh. That is interesting. You are right. He never seems to get upset about the Cadie thing, and even you Lincoln got upset, and you have the emotional intelligence of a potato."
"Maybe he still has a thing for her..." Lincoln offered his theory easily.
"No. Definitely not the case. I think if he is hiding her it is because she wants to be hidden. She is afraid still. I am not sure if it's of us or the KOR though. I would think both if she did not immediately return to us. She had to know Orion would protect her." Titus had no problem putting out his own theories.
"She is afraid of us all. Black was Orion's right and he tried to kill her. She no doubts thinks we are all gunning for her, and Killian...you know him. Pretty girl asks him to jump off a bridge, he will do it no question." Lincoln nodded his head in agreement.
"Let's stop talking about her. It bums me out to think she will never hang around here being the pain in the a** little sister none of us ever wanted but got in her anyway." Titus finally stated firmly.
"Yeah, onto Killian's new role as Father." Lincoln grinned.
"We haven't actually met the girl yet. Kill is keeping her far far away from the MC. Can't say I blame him, after what went down with Isabelle last year. He has showed us all pictures. She is a cutie, about 6 or 7 I guess. I don't know, I'm not good in regards to children." Titus played with the tab on his soda.
"He seems happy though. The Mother is a mystery. Someone from his past, but he has been very tight lipped about the whole situation."
"I stopped by his house the other night. We watched the game, had some beers. I played with his new puppy." Lincoln added and Titus glanced at him.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I took him a house warming gift. A case of beer and a Harley calendar." Titus laughed at Lincoln's house warming 'gift'.

Lincoln's attention turned to Jasper for a moment. He was not one to get mushy or sentimental but he liked the family he had in the MC.
"You know, you don't have to stay away anymore. Everything is handled. Squared away now. Rion is cool with you hanging around, or not." Lincoln had already lost two brothers that year, his twin and Black. He didn't want to lose a third by Jasper walking away.
"Jasp is still in. He just needed some space." Titus stated, and he hoped he was right. He rather liked having Jasper around, he was a good guy.

Titus looked up when he heard the door again. He wasn't surprised to see Joshua. He was probably looking for Orion or Moira. Moira and Joshua had been spending quite a bit of time together lately. He believed it was why Moira and Lena were not as friendly as they had been.
"Neither of them are here." Titus said at once, and Lincoln crossed his arms over his chest. He was not a fan of Joshua. Not after he had witnessed him yelling at Lena the other day. Lena yelled right back, but he didn't like the aggressive stance he took with the small woman. He did not hit her, but it seemed like he was definitely trying to intimidate her.

Titus gave a little humorless laugh. "He was in Witness Protection it turns out. He came back when he heard about Cadence. I don't have the whole story....YET. I will get it though." Doom rolled his eyes and sat back in his seat.
"He has been really trying hard to find her. Think he is ready to be a Father but it is to late. Cadie is to far gone. Girl doesn't need a Daddy anymore, she needs a freakin' straitjacket. She had been through too much to ever expect her to ever be mental or emotionally stable." Lincoln stretched his arms.
"I don't trust him. He was giving Lena a hard time...."
"He is lucky Lena's guy friend didn't beat him senseless. Wait, he is picking on Lena?" Titus responded lazily.
"I think I will visit Killy soon. I miss having that jackass around..." Titus pushed the plate of brownies toward Jasper.
"So....you're back? Cool! We are losing too many good guys lately." Lincoln looked around the room. Checking out some of the woman that had entered the room. The man was insatiable! He had no shame either.
"She is hot. What's her name....?" Lincoln got up and went to introduce himself to the new woman. His friends forgotten for the moment. He was on the hunt again, and their was no stopping him when he saw someone he wanted.
"I can see your geting a tad annoyed. You moved on, let Cadie do so too. Whether it be will with Killian or...some other guy. For the record...I don't think he is sexually involved with her. He has come to his senses, he regrets his past behavior. Killian is a good guy, you know he is. Time you two make that s**t right dude."

"I get 'cha, but who cares really? Plenty of beautiful women out there. You could have your pick. Family, that is more important then any chic. Besides...Do you really wanted to be Orion's brother-in-law?" He playfully elbowed Jasper. Orion was a cool guy, he could be a d**k though. Majorly so, and everyone was very much aware of it.
"Later." Titus replied and turned his attention to the plate of brownies. He picked one up and ate it happily. Moira's brownies were his favorite sweet treat. He normally preferred salty snacks, but the brownies were a weakness. He took a big bite, and easily finished the brownie in two bites.

He rose to his feet and started away. The plate in his hand. He figured he should go and pull out the casserole. So he went toward the kitchen, to retrieve Moira's casserole from the over.

Jasper chuckled, "Orion is hard enough to live with already. See ya man."He told Titus before moving out the door, giving Lincoln a wave as he left. As much as he might enjoy spending the night and catching up with his old buddies, there was time for that another day. Tonight he had a date.

Jasper mounted his bike and was out of the lot within minutes. Driving at a good pace down the streets, Jasper looked at the town he had known his whole life. At the end of his journey, Jasper parked outside of Victoria's place. Turning off the engine, Jasp moved to knock on the woman's door.

Killian hung Alyvia's little coat in the closet, then closed the door. He watched her play with the puppy for a few minutes.
"Well....because he has a dog's face. Not really sure what to name him. I didn't want to give him a boring name like Spot or Buddy. I think you will do better naming the little furball though. So...what do you think we should call him?" He watched as the puppy fell over, revealing his belly.

He turned his attention to Diana briefly. "Yeah, but the other surprise can actually go home with her. Once I have some help load it up. It is pretty damn big." Killian moved around the back of the couch, and leaned on the back of the couch.
"Can I get you ladies something to drink before dinner?" He disappeared in the kitchen briefly. He returned with a glass of juice for Alyvia, and a glass of iced tea for Diana. He handed out the drinks.
"Nah. What you are wearing is fine, since we have little eyes about." He whispered with a grin. He moved back to Alyvia quickly, squatting down beside her. He patted the puppy affectionately.
"So dinner is ready, but Alyvia I have a surprise for you. Do you want to see it now, or after dinner?" He smiled at his daughter, he was so excited to show her the dollhouse.
