Despite the minor damage he had received, and the fact it had been a surprisingly long time since he had felt such a thing, the Gligar stood perfectly still as the Shieldon came at him again. His facial expression didn't even falter as he starred on blankly. Only at the very last instant would the Guardian twist, almost limply, out of his opponent's way. At least that's what he was trying to do.
Shiloh took one look at the pokemon and his head would drop. This was madness, seriously this was madness. He had just gone through battle after battle, and now, it would seem that here was another pokemon that seemed to want to challenge him.
It wasn't like he couldn't tell it was angry as he recalls Chai and would call out Valiant in the same movement.
"Is there any chance I can avoid this battle? I am a bit bang up and tried of these constant fights, and all I want to do is complete my mission and take a picture of an evolution stone.
So how about a truce?"
The boy would literally ask as Valiant appeared and took one look at the pokemon and seemed to smile. This was a challenger like the one that had defeated him before. This was a good chance at a rematch, and though his trainer was ready to throw in the towel. Well, he was more than a little eager for this little match.
">Leave these lands, or leave this world<" The Stanler intoned, eyes locked on the boy. The message was plenty clear. Leave or die. Neither of which was an option for the Student. It was highly unlikely his Professor would take failure well. Battle was the only choice. Guardian's did not negotiate.
(You don't have a third choice? Well, let me add one, your defeat and then we continue on as though you never existed.)
He was actually taunting as Shiloh would look down as his own pokemon. The Stantler's words were lost, but not it's posture, and he knew they would have to deal with this pokemon first as he would almost growl at his own pokemon.
"Stand down."
The words almost translates into put up your guard in his mind, and thus, without much prompting, Valiant would do just that. He would curl up tightly as he put head to tail, and would prepare himself to literally roll out of the way of any of that pokemon's attack. The message was clear.
The seed cracked off his temple, and Alistair gave a sharp yelp of pain. He could feel a massive bruise forming on the side of his head... ugh, painful and unseemly. He needed to be out of this forest as quickly as possible. Lucy snuggling him protectively, he pushed forward, ears still ringing.

The pain was slowly fading away, enabling Alistair to take a step without cringing. His body was starting to ache... he'd love to return to his Pokelot and take a nap, but he wasn't sure that was allowed. Not that he'd ever been to a normal school, but he doubted this was a typically structured one..

As Alistair continued through the forest, there was a faint rustling of leaves above his head. Leaves would start to fall as he heard a loud cooing noise. A Pidove looked at him (trying to stare into the depths of his soul) before taking off and flying away. He could continue forward!

+1 Injury
The mirror bounced off Gin's back, shattering into a thousand pieces and probably doing a solid number on the young ninja's spine. The Smoochum stared, horrified, and began to sob. >NUUUUU!< So hysterical she was that she had completely forgotten Gin. Pride goeth before the fall, after all.

Perhaps unusually large eating utensils were a naturally-occurring feature of this strange land tainted by the weirdness of space. Or perhaps Arceus had a weird sense of humor. Whichever it was, Hiro would once again find himself faced with a giant fork stuck prongs-first in the ground. On either side, the path diverged-- one to the right, and one to the left. Which would the aspiring trainer choose?
That was... unsettling. And cemented his dislike of Pidove. Disgusting common and disgustingly creepy, not a drop of elegance or power in their body. Alistair shook his head, shuddering. He was glad the thing left; Lucy deserved better opponents than that. With a sigh, he took off.

Never turn your back on the enemy....never underestimate an opponent.. Two rules he had ignored and paid for his ignorance. The shinobi was hit dead on by the mirror. Ouch. However he didn't cry out in pain. No, he was supposed to deal with it. He'd dealt with worse before. Gritting his teeth, he would continue forward staggering only slightly before regaining his step.
Scyther [F] Chiyome, Level 2 Nature: Lonely Stats: HP: 6/15/PP:18/ATK:11/DEF:7/SPD;9/SP-ATK:7/SP-DEF:8 MOVES: - Steel Wing - Leer EXP: 0/75 Bio: Takeshi and Gin were traveling through the Foggy Forest when they were challenged by a Scyther! The pokemon loved the thrill of the battle and had a high energy level along with a certain bloodlust. Curious, Gin watched as Takeshi deemed the pokemon worthy and so the shinobi caught her.
Was he getting closer to the end of the forest? Alistair wasn't sure. The whole forest seemed unnaturally huge; it'd be easier for him to get lost. He was sticking to a path... well, he hoped it was a path, and not his own delusions. Trying not to panic, he kept walking forward.

Alistair really shouldn't have been allowed to think; his mind was getting away from him. What if he was trapped in this place forever? It was only Lucianna's comforting present on his shoulder that kept him from dropping into a full-blown and kept his legs moving forward.

To no fanfare, Gin would find himself back where he'd started.
A faint buzzing noise was heard as Alistair continued. He would also hear a humming and into his view he would hear a clunk clunk sound as large pieces of a tree trunk was visible all over the ground. A Scyther was making a sculpture as she sliced away at the tree trunk. The Pokemon was so focused on her work that he could pass by if he was really quiet and avoid confrontation.
