Sam was at least satisfied with Leo's resolution and turned his attention to Rin. "Sasha and I are doing well so far. As for Chase and Cherry, well, I think they're just resting," he said to her. "Last time I saw them, Cherry was out like a light and Chase was making sure she was resting. They have been unnaturally quiet, though."

Rin gave a small smile at the answer. "The poor things must be exhausted." She said softly. "If you'd like you and Sasha can make dinner tonight. Leo and Ash made breakfast and everyone takes turns cooking. You can use whatever you find in the kitchen too."

"Alright, we'll cook. I'll have to discuss with Sasha about what we need to make, though," Samuel said. He heard footsteps from the hall and saw his sister enter the room. "Ah, speak of the devil."Sasha had been worried about Leo, wanting to make sure he was alright. "How's Leo?" she asked as she took a seat next to her friend. "Were you crying just now?"

Leo looked up and gave a little smile. "I'm okay now." he said softly, reaching his hand out for anyone to take and using the extra leverage to stand up once someone had hold of his arm. "I guess I was...just feeling lonely." Rin stood up as soon as she heard Sasha's voice and helped Leo to stand as well when his hand was surrendered. But as soon as her skin touched his, a lightning bolt was sent deep into her brain and suddenly she could see the fire and despair of that terrible night Leo's parents died. Rin snatched her hand away when Leo was standing and cupped her hands over her mouth as she stared at Leo in horror.

Both Sam and Sasha noticed Rin's look of horror and wondered what had happened. "Are you alright?" the female twin asked. If she remembered right, Rin could see visions. Did she just have one, then?

Leo felt Rin snatch her hand back, which made him jump a bit as well. He was curious about what was going on in the room. Leo kept to himself just in case but as soon as Rin took off crying he couldn't help but feel like he did something wrong.Rin began to cry at the sight she just saw but was slightly distracted with the question. "I-I'm sorry, I need to go!" she said in almost a whisper as she took off and ran outside crying. Rin was about halfway up the alley when she literally ran into her sister.
Elsa was bringing home some groceries and daydreaming when Rin smashed into the paper bags and caused her to drop everything onto the ground. "Rin?!" She said a bit loudly but she only half cared about why Rin was crying. What she really cared about was who made her cry. Rin didn't give a reply to her name. Elsa gave her a tight squeeze for a brief moment before escorting her to the porch steps, having her sister sit on them for a few moments. Elsa stomped into the house and found some of the group in the living room. "Alright, which one of you a** hats made Rin cry!?" she demanded, ready for a fight.

"Hey, we didn't do anything!" Samuel answered, not mentioning that Rin had cried after taking Leo's hand. For all he knew, Elsa might end up blaming the kid, though it was a bit too early for assumptions. "She just started crying all of a sudden. We have no idea what happened."

Elsa didn't like that answer, someone made her sister cry and she was going to find out who. But maybe they made her cry unintentionally. "....Did she touch anyone before she ran?" she asked in a less rude tone, starting a fight would get her nowhere.

It seemed Elsa was trying to be more reasonable, but Sam wasn't sure if he should tell her that Rin had touched Leo. Maybe just confirm her question. "Yeah, she did," he said, still uncomfortable with that mood around her.

Elsa gave a soft sigh. "Next time....start by saying that." she said sternly before she went back outside to console her sister who was still crying over what she had seen. After a few minutes Elsa came in carrying an unconscious Rin in her arms and brought her sister downstairs to sleep. She came back up and noticed Sam's defensive gaze hadn't changed. Elsa averted her gaze and folded her arms. "Sorry.....I acted out of instinct. Whenever Rin cried when we were younger it was because someone hit her or tripped her or something someone did." Elsa paused but she knew she wasn't done explaining. "She saw Leo's parents in the fire. Thats why she started crying. I put her to sleep now....when she gets like this she goes into panic attacks. The best thing for her now is to sleep."Leo had stayed quiet through everything, unsure if his words would help or worsen the situation. After listening to Elsa's explanation, he quickly forgave her for being so brash and understood why Rin stormed out the way she did. "I forgive you for the way you acted. My brother would have done the same."

Samuel calmed down now. "Yeah, you did act as any sibling should," he agreed. "Is that another ability of hers? She can see people's pasts, it seems?" It made him wonder about Leo, then. Would he also see things from the past? Had he ever seen anything from the past?

Elsa shook her head. "No....not really. She's controlled her mind so that she can focus on any vision that she has at the current moment, even when she's not touching someone. That is where most of her control lies. But when she touches someone....it's different. She could get a random vision at any moment when she's touching someone. That vision can be from the past...or the future. It's random." she said softly, turning her gaze back to Sam. "It's not something she can help really. It's nobody's fault. But for now she needs to rest and I need to talk with Daniel about something. I dropped a couple bags of groceries outside...would you guys mind bringing them into the kitchen for me?" As Leo listened to Elsa explain further he was reminded of his own visions. The only difference being that he could receive a random vision at any time during the day or night whether he's touching someone or not.

"Sure, we can get the groceries," was all Samuel said as he headed outside to get the groceries. His sister followed to help him out, and they brought the bags into the kitchen. Of course, they had to dust everything off before they could bring them inside. After putting the groceries away in their proper places in the kitchen, they returned to the living room to rejoin Leo. "Seems like everyone's having a hard day today."

Leo remained in the living room, sitting in one of the chairs this time, while the other two went out to get the groceries. "Sounds like it. Thanksgiving might be better though, it will bring everyone together....Kind of like a family." He said softly though he couldn't help but feel like he was an imposition. "I'm sorry for dragging you two into my problems."Elsa headed upstairs to the second story where Daniel's room and office was. She knew he hadn't gone anywhere since he usually told them if he was going out. She knocked on the door gently before entering. "Daniel?" she said a little softly, peeking into the office.

Daniel had currently been reading letters from his former students, many of whom had written back to him about how they fared in their new locations. The knock on the door interrupted him and he set the papers down. "Come in," he said as he saw Elsa. "Is something the matter?" She seemed rather bothered, if the aura around her said anything."Don't apologize. You're like our little brother now, so we'll naturally want to help you with your problems," Sasha said cheerfully, taking Leo's hands into hers. "Besides, you're still a kid. You can't help it."
