 Daren hadn't eaten, not in the conventional way at least. "i'm kind of hungry too, let's make some soup and sandwiches. i'll be in charge of one and you the other, deal?" he got up and stretched a little, "the house looks great, sorry i didn't say so earlier, i was worried about you." he smiled and head out to the kitchen, seeing a pouting Apple on the couch as he passed. "silly kitty." he stroked her softer than usual fur and head to the kitchen to get out what they needed.

 Tim did his best not to whine and scream in the bed, slowly sitting up and going to the closet, finding the box of his old things at the bottom at the bottom and opening it, pulling out a t-shirt before walking out. "I'll do the soup, then." he said, giving a small smile. "And that's okay. It is late you're probably exhausted." he turned on the stove, pulling out the pot he washed and filling it with a bit of water before finding the ingredients for the soup. He looked up at the man, pausing not only at the wrinkled state of the shirt, but at the mark just below his jawline on the side of his neck. "I take it work was strenuous, today?"

Daren shook his head, "no, i got s**t done, but it was relaxing. Iroh and i had it out." he shrugged a bit as he worked on putting sandwiches together, "turkey or ham?" he asked, holding up the two kinds of meat for Tim to pick from. he knew he'd received some marks, he'd seen them in the mirror of the shower room, but they were nothing compared to what he'd left on iroh. their rule of 'no evidence' had gone out the window, but it had felt good. he was certain his clothes covered everything, at least he hoped so.

"I think 'had it out' is an understatement. That looks like he was trying to draw blood." and continued to look at the bite mark before re-focusing on the food he was chopping up. "I get to poke fun at you because you poked fun at me this morning." he chuckled.

Daren rubbed his kneck, knowing that Tim already knew about him and Iroh, so it was ok. "Yeah, well-looks like we both had stressful weeks, so we kind of went crazy. we both got hot, sweaty man sex, so we're even." he winked a little at Tim, "maybe we should exchange stories 'blow' by 'blow."

"I wouldn't remember if mine was hot and sweaty, I know the shower was hot and steamy and I nearly fell in it." he put a hand over his face in embarrassment. "I nearly slid on the tub part it was awful, but he worked around that so I guess it's okay?" he questioned. "I remember it was just embarrassing."

Daren lifted an eyebrow, "shower-play, huh? sexy, if a little dangerous." he put the sandwiches on a plate and took them to the table, but stopped when he saw a piece of folded paper directly in the middle of it. "This yours, Tim?" he called as he put the plates down and picked up the paper. he opened it and felt his blood run cold. You shouldn't leave someone so cute alone, you never know what might happen... "Tim," he said, his voice calm, "did you have someone over?"

"Madison did a quick check up before continuing. he's very dedicated, made sure my motor skills and eyesight were fully functional." he called, stirring the soup before tasting it. One more minute and it'd be ready. "is what mine?" he asked, waiting for it to bubble before taking it off the heat, pouring the soup into two bowls. "No, I came home, cleaned and fell asleep. Why do you ask?" and walked out. "What's that?"

Did he tell Tim or did he hide it? Daren sighed and held out the paper, "it seems someone was here while you slept. i'll have the locks changed immediately, and install a security system. i'm sorry Tim, this is my fault. maybe you should go and stay with your mothers for a while."

The bowls were set down, the paper taken before unfolding it. His stomach curled instantly before handing the note back. "I don't want them to get hurt." he mumbled, "This is the only safe place I know." he mumbled, arms wrapping around himself. Was that Andrew's handwriting? No, but even then he could have had someone else write it for him. Just the thought of that man watching Tim sleep, and barely clothed no less.

Daren walked over and pulled Tim into a hug, "i will keep you safe." he said the words softly, but with conviction. "I'm sorry, Tim, but i can't leave you alone anymore. even if we have to have guys from the station coming to stay with you." he stroked the other's hair, "we'll find out who left this. the building has security cameras, we'll find them." someone dare to break into his home and threaten Tim like this? Unforgivable, Daren would hunt them down himself.

Tim hesitated from holding the man back, opting to lean into him instead. truth be told he wanted to hide in the man's shirt and cling to him, afraid. Someone had quietly snuck in and watched Tim! Tim was a light sleeper! He could only imagine how light the other person had been on his or her feet! "Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you." He carefully hugged the other before letting it grow tight with the fear he felt. "I-I could... stay at work longer."

Daren held Tim a little tighter, knowing that right now Tim was afraid and needed the comfort. "that could work. you will be around other people and i can come and pick you up from there. or another officer can, if i can't make it. but first we need to call IRoh and have him send over some guys. let's not touch anything, just in case. sorry, Tim, i'm sure we can still eat. it's not likely they went into the kitchen. or would you rather not?"

He nodded. "I-I'm sure Andy or Daniel will be willing to stay late before I go home." he slowly let go, fixing the man's shirt. "I'll try to eat something. I haven't eaten since this morning." Tim gave a weak chuckle, moving and carefully sitting down, making sure the chair didn't somehow magically have a trap on it or something. He wouldn't put it past Andrew to stick a needle in it.

Daren sat across from Tim and tried to meet you eyes, "Tim, i want you to know that i don't think Givens is behind this. it's not his style. the note, coming here and watching you sleep without waking you? no, he would have woken you, hurt you and even if he'd left you here, he would have spoken to you, not leave a note." he looked over the paper once more, "we are dealing with someone else. i think this is directed at me, the note is obviously for me and not you, it would have been left in your room otherwise." he shook his head, "i've more than a few enemies out there, and it seems they found out where i am. we might have to move, Tim, and i am sorry to uproot you so soon. we'll find a good place nearby that will be safer if it comes to that."
