whats Gene Modifications?
PostPosted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 10:59 pm

It's an undeveloped thought that Havock had when he first created this guild. Bio-chemists supposedly can alter the genes in a person's body to give them various attributes. So far, the only Gene Modification that has ever existed was one that was given to Augioedes, that gave his Werewolf incredibly stretchy arms.

So it's somewhat like only for the special ability's?
PostPosted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 11:03 pm

Kind of. It would be to alter a person's physical body to give it other characteristics. It could be developed into something that would make Bio-chemists a popular class: They can enhance other RPC's stats, give them things like stretchy rubber arms, etc. But someone would have to get those skills approved first.

It's not from Havoc, I'm pretty sure Urban was the one that came up with it.

Can non-mechanists make a custom machine? I'm unsure on this.

Quote:
•Energy Bullet
Rank: D
Description: This is either used when a gunslinger wants to fire a silent shot or when he is out of ammo, most likely he is out of ammo. You fuse your energy with the gun and fire a shot, only one. This bullet is as powerful as the energy you put into it.
E- 9mm
D- .45 colt
C- S&W 600
B- 7.62
A- 30 cal rifle
S- 50 Cal Rifle

Does this mean that only one energy bullet can be shot per post or that you can shoot as many bullets as you want but you need to pay a separate energy cost for each and every one of them?

Since it says only one, I would assume it would be separate cost for each one.

Oh! Wait! I know this one... um... oh right!
Here in the main rules topic:

The last post states that you can have 3 machines max unless if your bloodline/class states otherwise.

So basically, yes. Non-mechanists can have/create machines.

They can have three machines, but they can't create them themselves. They have to get a machinist to build it.

When trying to cancel out each others songs, do bards need to play a song of the same rank or higher as the one they're trying to cancel?

I wantz, can I have?
In the other guild we discussed this alittle. But If I do have it can I put my all knowing god modding rejected sommuning in there as an Npc? You know if you make it past the army of monsters you can ask him 3 qustions or something and he'll give you the answers god moddingly.

There's too much role-playing emphasis on Nocturne as it is, so I would say no.

Doesn't have to be in Nocturne.
