>> In the face of Impossible odds....October watched him charge, calculating every single movement. Her wicked grin grew. She saw what he was doing now. His steps were measured, and she could see it in his eyes that he intended to stop.
"Who's this Gage you keep whining about?" She asked, and charged past him. As she did so, she made sure to keep an eye on his weapons.
She spun around and ran forward at him from behind. Her plan was forming quickly in her mind. One even her Father would be proud of. She grinned manically, her muscles tensed and her arms poised to strike, the scorpion stinger blades in her hands.

Luke ducked as she charged past him. He looked over his shoulder to see her running at him now. He'd let her do it. If she got close enough to strike, he was close enough to trip her up, preferably literally. He maintained a balanced stance as he spun around to face her, with his arms in a defensive position.
"Oh, just a brat from the Triton cabin," he responded when he was sure he was prepared. "I think you two would get along famously."

Carmelia jumped up and looked down,they couldn't see her. She yelled to Luke,"WATCH OUT!" She ran down the steps to the front row. She saw Luke look at where the noise come from. She couldn't be seen,but she could be heard.

>> In the face of Impossible odds....October watched him spin around, her pale eyes wild now. She heard a girls voice scream for him top watch out, and carefully came to a stop.
"You didn't think I'd run you through, did you?" She asked, and sheathed one blade, picking up a spare shield that had been dropped near-by. Anything could be used as a weapon, if used right. She spun it idly around her finger, the round edge the lined the inside of the shield keeping it on her finger like a bright, huge flashing bronze disk.
"Me? Get along with some Triton kid? Ha! Like I could get along with some idiot," She snorted with laughter, and just after she spoke, just as the last syllable left her tongue she hefted it and threw it spinning at Luke. Then she chraged again, unsheathing her blade and poising them to strike.

Luke swore silently as the distraction caused by the yell caused him to miss the fact that October had stopped short, and he countered a blow that hadn't come. He shook his head rapidly to clear away the failure as October picked up a shield and threw it at him. He raised his fists in hopes of the steel deflecting the shield, but his mind was running through the wrong defensive maneuver for the threat. He felt it crash against his arms and went flying backwards onto the dust. He jumped upwards quickly as October began a second charge.
"Oh, good, we agree that he's an idiot," he said, as he sidestepped her charge just a fraction of a second before he was hit. He held his leg out as she went past to stumble her and let him catch a few moments of breath.

"You are both idiots," Carmelia growled. She didn't want Luke to hurt himself before he asked the big question. "Use the dagger!" she screamed.

>> In the face of Impossible odds....October let him trip her, everything moving in slow motion in her eyes. Plans and idea quickly ran before her eyes, and she picked the best one. Hit and Run, she had nick-named it a few days before. She struck out a blade, and it caught his arm. She heard the satisfying sound if it cutting skin. Now, time caught up with her and she rolled forward, ripping her curved blade away, hoping to cause him some pain.
"Sure, why not?" She mumbled, rolling to her feet and shaking some of his blood off her blade.

Luke yelled as the blade struck across his left arm, creating a cut in it. He shouted quickly, "Carm, stay out of it! I'll be fine!"
He backed up a few steps and went on the defensive for now. He would get his chance to go back to attacking later, but right now there would be no opportunities.
"C'mon, I know you can do better than that," he challenged.

Carmelia looked down and yelped.She was visible again. "Crap..." she thought. The charm had worn off and wouldn't come back until tomorrow. She sighed and leaned herself over the edge,waiting for when she could help Luke.

"Of course I can. But Im not aloud killing, right?" She asked as her eyes glinted like some kind of mad mans. She could do better without killing him, so now she would. Now, she charged again. She was even faster this time as well. Time for a relentless attack. She swung her blades in a well-choreographed motion, making sure not to leave any open spots or ones that would take too long to move again if deflected. Then she stopped and brought her leg up high at his head, like from the Karate Kid movie. She followed up with another curved blade, ready to strike again.

(Never said Luke saw her. Luke would recognize the voice, though, and she'd been yelling at him earlier.)
Luke deflected several blows as October began her series of vicious attacks, but felt himself getting hit just as many times. His forms from karate flashed through his mind. He finally selected an appropriate one for the particular threat as he ducked under another strike.
He slid between October's legs and leaped up behind her before spinning around with his arms still raised. His shirt was showing the signs of soaking up blood, as the normal orange was now turning as red as his hair. His fist flew into her back, with his knuckles held out to inflict as much pain as possible.

Carmelia got pout of her seat and said,"This isn't a kung fu movie,stop dancing and fight!" She felt her anger surge through her and she picked up her knife and walked into the Arena.

When he disappeared, she went to spin around but felt huge, thick spikes impact her back, just below her shoulder blades. She cried out, feeling the blood drip down her back fast. This only provoked her though. Blocking out the pain, she spun around and tackled him, sheathing her scorpion blades. She pinned him down, slamming her hands down on his forearms so they couldn't move. Her long brown hair had come out of its sloppy ponytail and the ends were covered din blood, all of it hers.

Carmelia walked into the main arena. She walked,bringing out her blades as she did. She walked up to October and said,"Get off him." She looked up and she put the point of her knife under her chin. The other was pointed at the side of her throat.

"No, Carm," Luke warned, "I have to win or lose this fight alone. But I don't surrender yet." With that, he brought his legs up, which she had forgotten to pin to the ground. They kicked into October's back, with the intent of surprising her long enough for him to wriggle free of her grasp.
