Rukani blinked, then shrugged. "I honestly don't know. I just do." She smiled and sat down next to Shade. "You alright?" She asked again softly.

As Richard and Blaze caught up with Ali and Amy, Richard noticed another Chao up ahead "who's this? he asked. Ali shrugged "I don't know but i saw Shade flying off i think crying and Rukani followed after her" she said as she looked at her father

Rukani sighed. She didn't really know how to respond to this. She thought she did, but once she thought about it a little more she realized it was a stupid thought. She sent a thought to Blaze, I could really use your help here. Please help me with this.

Rukani sighed and hugged Shade again. I need help. I'm trying to comfort Shade, but I just don't know what to say right now. Going to the others is useless, you said they don't seem to feel like this. Like we do. So I need help.

"talking to someone?" Richard asked when he noticed Blaze not saying anything. Ali looked over at Blaze and suddenly felt like she really should've followed Shade and sighed "man i'm gonna be a lousy gaurdian" she said to herself
