"Cheer up we are going to see Waffle soon." she said with a sincere smile and headed for the front desk. Luckly it was a slow time and the nurse was only inputting data on her computer.
"Hello miss, I'm here to pick up Waffle. Could you direct me to her room?"

Sabe waited for the nurse to respond to Pen.
Meanwhile, Waffle was in her assigned room playing around with the edge of the blanket despite the hospital staff telling her numerous times to quit doing so. It wasn't her fault that she was unusually hyper.

The nurse looked up and gave no indication that she heard Pen at all. She looked worn to the bone and rather indifferent to the world.
"Down the hall, third floor, RM 725." the nurse just went back to her work as what she just said was automatic. Pen feeling rather awkward began to slowly walk away.
"Thank you," Pen said rather suspiciously and grab Sabe by the arm leading him down the hall. That is why I don't care for hospitals.

Sabe wasn't liking the atmosphere either.
"Why every damn hospital needs to have the same sickly feeling to it is beyond me." he said, unknowingly agreeing with Pen.
"I would not be surprised if Waffle had gone insane while staying here. She DOES have hyperactive tendencies."

"Your telling me you should see the practice dummies." The reminder of Waffle's strength and magic ability seem to stop Pen for a moment. She frowned and muttered "I forgot to bring popcorn..."

Sabe bit his lip a little, expecting that when he does see them, that half of the room would appear to be destroyed. He raised his eyebrow at the popcorn comment, but dismissed it later, given that it was probably an inside joke.

Pen hurried through the hall and headed for the staircase. She kept a hold on Sabe due to the fact she felt uncomfortable and the presence of a friend calmed her a little. Making to the third flight, she could see Waffle's room with man standing guard at the door.
Must be Luc's cousin or uncle.

Sabe swallowed a bit as the other man glared at him as well as Pen. Sabe didn't know the man, but then he remembered that Luciano said that his cousins and uncle would be keeping watch. He didn't exactly know what to say.
Waffle however, heard two sets of footsteps near the door, one of them she barely recognized.

Pen decided to break the stare off. "You must be Luc's handsome cousin. I'm am Pen and I'm going to take Waffle home." This seemed to confuse the man and Pen dashed in dragging Sabe behind her.
With the momentum she hugged her wounded friend and gave a large laugh. "Nice to see you all better! Hopefully you weren't to bored." Pen let go and sat down in the chair beside the bed with her normal tired smile. " I brought an old friend of yours. You certainly can pick em'." She said hinting at the elf who came behind her.
(I need to go but will be on later. biggrin )

((Mkay. We're doing good today anyhow.))
Waffle beamed brightly, now that Pen and Sabe were here. Sabe also smiled quite a bit, and hugged Waffle as well.
"Hopefully this means I get out of here today?" she asked. "I'm tired of these people nagging at me for some reason or another."
"I'm assuming so." Sabe responded.
"Good. So what were you guys doing while I was out?" Waffle asked casually.

After Luciano and Skotti made their amends, Luciano sat in the Lobby with his notebook and his favourite pen. He was currently in the process of writing his article. He looked up at the clock and sighed, so he took out his mobile and dialed his cousin Leonardo's number.
"Leo."
"Hey, Luci, I just walked in to relieve our Uncle from duty. A couple of girls are here."
"I know. Listen. They got there on Motorcycle, Leo, can you drive Waffle here for me?"
"Sure thing, Luci, sure thing."
"Ok, then. Thank you- just to ensure her safety, Leo, I want more than one car there when you go to drive her home. If the enemy is going to strike again then I want to confuse them."
"That's a very dumb idea, but we'll run with it ******** you, Leo. I'll keep in touch."
"I love you, too, man. See you later."
Luciano hung up his mobile and went back to writing. He took a sip of his energy drink after he finished his paragraph, did a little revising, then started on the new paragraph.

Pen gave an exhale as she gathered all of the events that had happened while Waffle was a way.
"Well me Sabe have gotten to know each other a little," Pen did a playful jab at Sabe's chest. She then chuckled and began a speedy list of all that had happened.
"Other than that, the Boss's boss showed up. Luc and the boss have a misunderstanding but I think its resolved now. There is C4 in the fridge and Rom thought the TV was going to attack. All in all nothing exciting."
She gave a smile and was quite proud of herself for the saying all that in one breath. Pen however got up and pushed Sabe down in her now empty chair.
"I'm going to talk to the guard about how we are getting you home. You two will stay here." Pen's grin returned. That was it, all she wanted was them to be alone away from HQ. Not really silly request, I do think.
She sauntered out and stood beside the relation of Luc's. I got handsome right thats for sure. She had a rather interested smile as she thought about that.
"So you are Luc's cousin?"

Leo looked up from his phone and smiled and the teeny little Dark Elf that approached him. A flirtatious smile fell across his face and then he said, "That all depends," he said as he licked his lips, checking her out while he put his phone away.
Luciano finally finished his article and then he set the notebook down on the table. He was also finished with his beverage as well. He sat back and let out a heavy sigh, he closed his eyes and listened to the ticking of the clock on the wall, "They'll be home soon." he thought.

Waffle looked out in Pen's general direction with a look that basically screamed 'what?' and Sabe gave Waffle a 'let me explain' glance.
"Yeah... please do explain."
"Hm. Where to start...right. Well, they all were first talking about our situation and how we're going about with our next move. Shortly into the discussion, Luciano and Skotti had started fighting over whether or not Skotti should have stayed in the car to help or not, and later Pen temporarily broke up the fight. The other two went into the garden for awhile, while I just joined in a tad late and was talking to Pen. Skotti's former boss was actually a member of the Gaian Military, and we found out that it really wasn't the whole army after you, but rather some old stick-in-the-mud general and his goons. Romulus must have not gotten enough sleep or something, because when I was in the main room this morning I saw him acting very strange -probably hallucinating- and he destroyed the TV. He also must have bought explosives the night before, as when Skotti opened the freezer door he discovered enough of it to blow up several buildings, if not a whole block."
Waffle tilted her head to the side, then straightened it out again.
"Mkay. Looks like I missed out on all the fun stuff."
"Hm...not really. I wouldn't call it 'fun' myself."
"Of course you wouldn't." Waffle said jokingly while pinching Sabe's cheek, despite the other's squirming and protesting.
Sabe managed to get Waffle to stop pinching him, then looked at the door.
"I seriously think Pen is still trying to set me up though."
"How so?!"
"I could just tell by the way she acted that she was up to no good.
Waffle raised an eyebrow at Sabe, then responded.
"I don't think Pen would be up to anything mean...I mean seriously. She DOES know that I find out that she's really tormenting you, that she'd end up being my next practice buddy, right? And by practice buddy, I mean test subject."
"Speaking of which, she already mentioned something about your skill when you're practicing. Care to show me when we get home?"
"Sure." Waffle said, smiling.

Pen was somewhat flattered for the flirtatious smile, though she questioned if it was because he was handsome or she had been around the love birds to long.
Oh who cares. She returned his smile by cocking her hip, folding her arms and forming a sly smile. Then with a playful tone retorted, "Depends on what, exactly if you would." She raised an eyebrow and also checked the man out.
(Do you want me to describe him or do you already have an idea on how he looks. I don't care either way)
