Sakura heard Verin shouting from behind her, she was able to turn her head quickly and say "No time for plans, Verin. Next time be ready before we make it out the door." She was almost near the doors of the building when she decided to stop and allow him to slide off. Sakura hoped that she wouldn't lose all of her energy due to the magic she had used. Raine caught up to the two of them along side Verin. Tucking her wings behind her Raine landed softly on the grass beside where Sakura had stopped with Orthae. She quickly pushed the doors open so that the two of them could get into the building and find someone to help Orthae out with his wounds.

Verin draped Orthae's good arm over his shoulders and helped him up after he got off Sakura. "Wow...what a ride..." Knowing Sakura must've expended a lot of energy performing such a feat, Orthae dug around in his pouch and pulled out a vial of liquid, colored a deep blue. He tossed it to Sakura. "Verin, would you? I don't think I have the energy...to explain." Nodding, Verin looked at Sakura. "That's a strength renewal potion. Drinking that will refresh your spirit and recover any expended energy. Orthae makes a lot whenever he gets bored. Unfortunately, he has yet to create a potion that can heal physical wounds." After explaining about the expended energy part, he had been on his way into the hospital, talking and not caring who was listening. "He's got a potion that can wipe away your fatigue, renew your physical ability, cure any obscure ailments...but he can't make a potion to heal wounds. Well, I'm sure he'll get it eventually..." Verin exchanged words with the receptionist, and she called over the PA for some doctors. They got Orthae situated in the ER to work on his broken bones and any other major injuries. The process was remarkably short. In only about twenty minutes, his wounds were gone like they had never existed, and he was perfectly fine again. But still, he decided to take the time to recover manually, for once. Verin waited at the doorjamb to Orthae's room. "You don't have to wait, you know. I figure I'll stay `til tomorrow, head out when I wake up, y'know? Go, have some fun. Go do something. Surely it'll be much more fun than watching me sleep." Smiling, Verin chuckled at Orthae, back to his usual plucky attitude. "All right, I'll see if Sakura or Raine want to stop in, but after that, I'm off to the hot springs...I still feel like I've been run over by a freight liner." With that, Verin walked back toward the entrance. Exiting the hospital, he saw Raine and Sakura, still waiting. "Well, I'm off to the hot springs. Feel free to talk to Orthae, if the idea takes you. They've patched him up fine. Other than that, if you need me, you know where to find me." With a two-fingered wave, Verin stretched his wings and leapt into the air, flying off toward the hot springs.

"Wow, he has absolutely no care for his own brother really," Raine said looking at Sakura. "Do you want to talk to Orathae?" Sakura shook her head and drank the potion she had been given, "Naw, I'm sure he wants to rest some. Perhaps we should leave him to do just that." Raine nodded, "I at least want to pop in and make sure everything is alright before I go. You go on ahead." Sakura nodded and walked off out of the hospital, figuring she too should go to the hotsprings. Raine pushed the door to the room Orthae was in open and walked inside, "Is there anything I can do?"

Orthae looked up to see Raine standing nearby his bed. "Oh, hey Raine. No, I'm pretty much all healed. I figured I'd just take the time to rest like a normal person. But thanks for asking." She had been so nice to him since they had met, it was kind of a new experience for a person who had never received any kindness from others, save for his mother. That in itself is an obligation. He found himself grateful for her company and incredibly lucky to have spotted her in the courtyard the other day.

Kira turned lightly red as Rivera moved towards him and put her lips to his. He closed his eyes and welcomed the pressure of her kiss, as well as adding his own pressure to the kiss. He still held her hand in his as he moved his free hand to her back, holding her as they kissed. He never felt this way about anyone before. When he was born from Kuro, he was filled with hate and thought he would never like anyone. And he doubted he would fall in love with Rivera considering they had fought before his birth into the physical world. But he guessed having a body really changed things, as well as freedom.
Kira removed himself from Rivera's lips and looked at her with the most gentle look in his eyes. "So... You plan on sneaking out tommorrow?" He asked with a slightly wimsical look on his face. "But you have two weeks before you are fully recovered?" He asked looking worried. "Are you sure you should try and get out before your time then?" He asked with his worried look still in place.

Raine nodded to what he had said, "I'll be with the other two at the hotspring. I'll come back in a few hours and see if you're alright. It's the least I can do." She smiled sweetly and left the room figuring that he would get some rest after they had all gone off to the hotspring. Quietly she closed the door behind her after she had walked out. She didn't want to have to worry about any of them, and hoped that the hotspring would help her to relax a little bit. Maybe next time we'll wait a little while before going to the training center, she thought to herself. I'm not quite sure we were fully prepared for what we were doing.

Marcus chuckled as he felt her arms wrap around his neck, he found it odd she was used to drifting with her own powers and didn't panic when her feet didn't touch the ground, yet when actualy lifted and having no control over his wings she did. In a way it was cute, in a way that made him like a typical boy...playful.
Building up momentum he ran faster as he approached the the sliding doors of the hospital, his wings curving in and ever so slightly tensing out again as he let the wind gather beneath them, well the wind that was building up from the run that was. As his pace quickened he drew closer to the doors, his grip just under Kamarias leg tightening so she didn't fall as his wings spread out more.
His eyes were locked upon the platform just outside the hospital, it would mere seconds to push off from the ground at this speed he just needed open space and good solid ground. Marcus licked his lip, his heart was racing, he loved to fly, but he never had company before, so this was exicting and he wanted it to be great. The doors were in sight, just a few moments and they would be up in the air. Grining he lowered his gaze slightly, she really was hanging on tight.
""Nice grip you got there...keep it like that till were off the ground...1...2..3!"
His voice had grown into a cheer, they left the doors and within seconds were in the sky as his foot gave an almighty shove, puching both him and Kamaria high into the air. But it didn't end there, next his wings shot out from their curve and tensed as the wind increased, lifting them higher and higher into the air.
HIs feathers where being brushed back from the strength of the wind, though the force of the wings beating rythm kept them safe and gliding in the air; the cold shapr air that was hitting against his face and forcing his hair back. HIs eyes were closed for a few seconds to get adjusted and feel the wind on his face.
"Take a look. The ground is now...well tiny"
His voice was soft yet giddy. They ahd already soared several feet into the air within a few minutes. That was one of the good things about flying. Fastest form of travel.
*******
Erika laughed in amusement, it wasn't very often she met guys who were quite so forward. Normaly it was her who was the forward one, it was a nice change to for someone else to be like that. Chuckling she gave a dark and playful glance as she leaned, taking his hand from her shoulder and holding it in hers as she leaned forward to meet him. Her blue green lingering upon his dark brown.
"My my aren't we the devil in disguise!"
She laughed a smooth and dark laugh as she gave him a playfulk wink before removing her face ane leaning back. She was of course just teasing, but what was life without a little fun every now and then, besides this guy was hot! She was still holding his hand as her thought wnet back to Kamaria and she chewed her lip out of habit and sihed deeply.
"She and Marcus..well When we saw him he was ok, but that was because this strange blondie healed him. Apparently before hand the nurses almost killed him..which of course upset Kamaria. But they seem ok now that she found him and knew he was ok"

Aegle paused and smiled at Spooks as she cuaght up, she was just about to be all cheerful when her attention cuaght by the fact that Apooks didn't sound too happy at all. Pausing she hovered inches from her and gave Spooks a questioning look.
"Um you ok?"
She was going to apologise, but right now didn't seem like a good time. She would have to do it later when Spooks was slightly better...and when Lamya was busy taking over her body.

Rivera flinched when his hand ran across her back. Despite how gentle he was, the scars on her back were old, deep scars from a long lost age, scars that retained horrible memories as well as their pain. The pain mingled with the sweetness of their kiss and she took both in with welcome arms. It was like having her soul reborn after two thousand years of suffering and lonliness.
She broke away, looking at him softly, with longing and desire that she never knew she had. She thought that her heart had been frozen to stone forever until he broke it back into pieces and freed her.
"I... yes... but it won't be sneaking out... I'll get an official discharge. I can recover faster if I keep my workout up." She smiled, but it wasn't without pain. The scars on her back reminded her of the last time she said the same thing... and she wished she never did. It made her love for Kira more painful than ever... the memory of what happened chilled her to the bones, painful and unbearable. She began coughing and suddenly fell back onto the pillow, shivering.

"Rivera!" Kira sprang forward when she fell back and his worry had grown. "Rivera are you alright? What's wrong?" He asked, hoping she was alright. He quickly got a cup and filled it with water. He offered her the drink hoping she was alright. God why does this have to happen...? When are Kai and Usagi gonna get back? They could really help right now... He thought urgently. Until then he would do all he could to make sure she'd be alright.

Kamaria was panic-ed mainly because, when she floated she was stood on something solid. Mainly a solid column of compact air - not quite the same thing as flying whilst being held in someones arms...
She had not been watching his wings in the run up to the doors, she had infact been tightly holding her eyes shut and hoping to the god of prophecy that he would not drop her. She was slightly reassured when his grip tightened but having no control over something flying you potentially hundreds of feet into the air was nerve wrecking and yet strangely beautiful at the same time.
Kamaria could here his heart beat raising as they headed towards the doors, being so close to his chest meant she could even hear the soft drop in beat as he breathed. Her heart beat however was soaring in excitement and nerves, this was not the same as floating and her mind was thinking over and over again 'I'm in trusting my saftey into the hands, of a completely trustworthy and sweet- no i mean a guy i have only just fought..." The more younger side of Kamaria still shone through and although she was nervous she did trust Marcus...
Kamaria could feel the earth shift away from Marcus and she finally opened her eyes she started awe stuck at the power of his wings, she then automatically created a slight barrier or air between her and the air pushing towards her using her powers, she was not used to these speeds.
"I'll have you know i dont intend to let go until my feet are back on the ground...Not that i expect to fall, I'm just a little new to this flying in someones else arms thing..."
She didnt shout but she didnt speak normally either, she wasn't sure if the wind would obstruct his hearing. Without even thinking about the air made wind barrier extended upwards as if to block some of the wind form him but not obstruct his wings in anyway or form. She smiled, he hadn't noticed that she'd opened her eyes yet, although true she wasn't looking at the ground she was watching him and occasionally his wings...
She did glance down at the ground, and didnt regret it was beautiful in the scarily high way. This was brilliant, it was so different to floating on something solid, she let her barrier drop and felt the winds hit her skin but not painfully so. She couldn't help but keep looking aorund, sometimes at the ground, sometimes at Marcus wings but most of the time at Marcus...*** The name Kamaria hadn't even sunk in, it was an uncommon name but he was no longer even thinking about finding his sister. Although it was infact true that Kamaria was his sister...
When Erika had took hold of his hand he couldn't help but tighten the grip almost as if he was holding it, sort of like a natural response. He still felt stupid for his previous comment, but he laughed it off when Erika called him the 'devil in disguise.'
He listened to her laugh and recognised it for a playful one, but he wondered what her real laugh was like, with Erika it seemed every true smile and laugh had to be truly earned. He watched her chew her lip and sigh the way and worried child would, he couldn't help but think that there was more to Erika that this blunt cold exterior she seemed to hid behind...
He right there and then on the spot decided that he would find out what Erika was really like, and to do that he would have to be himself. He looked Erika in the eyes deeply as there was something buried behind her eyes.
"I'm glad there OK, I'm really glad your OK too..."
It was sincere no lies no trickery just compassion. Strange considering he had been such a typical boy moments before. Perhaps she would realise there was more to him too...*** Spooks smiled and relaxed she was being touchy over nothing. It was just the fact she had seen that Erika girl have a fit at the nurses, but perhaps she was worried about those other two and Dewei, yes that was it. Denial was a easier option than anger, nobody should have to deal with an angry Spooks it wasn't nice..
"I'm fine, yes just fine...What about yourself..."
She had completely over looked the fact Lamya had dragged her here to wait whilst she fed in the blood room, Or that fact Lamya had tried to force her way in Spooks' mind. Among other things. She didnt care right now. Aegle had done nothing wrong Lamya had. And to be honest she had remembered she was jsut waiting for an explanation rather than having to ask for one...

((Whenever I have to leave, I save the webpage and type the reply on Notepad at home... everytime I do that, my posts end up being two pages on microsoft word... O___o fweaky... Forgive me for the big long passages of BS-ing...))
Shaking her head vigorously, Rivera refused the cup of water. She thought she had finally gotten a chance to relax from her neverending nightmares and memories... finally gotten a chance to just forget about the past and start over from the absolute beginning. People from a company called Clover, they had taken her out of the military training camp and sponsored her education fully in the two weeks before she was transfered to Ria High... in the space of those two weeks, she had learned everything from counting to a hundred and ABCs to advanced calculus and post-grad literature, everything they gave her, she swallowed up in torrents. For her, that was a new begining, to learn everything in sight with a ravenous appetite without any knowledge of her past except for the fact that spells and incantations came naturally to her... and that she possessed a great potential that can't be fully explained by science. Then, she was transferred to Ria Highschool, and she realized that this school was a place where anything was possible, anything from changing the weather with a whimsical thought to bringing about the end of the universe... as well as finding out bits and pieces of her past by hacking into confidential databases and seeking out forbidden, enchanted records. Now she realized how much better it would be if she just left her past all alone, how much better it would be if she never knew anything of this ever again, to have no memory remaining of speech or anything... everything except the memory that the past is painful, not meant to be sought out... and the memory of...
"Kira..." Rivera looked up into his eyes. Her own were quivering rapidly, shaking back and forth, blurring her vision. At this point, her irises were a sharp silver shade. She never showed that color before either. Kira was making her open up slowly to the world, revealing emotions that she had been too confined to release or too afraid to confront. She turned her head away from him, ashamed and afraid of what she might say if she stayed to long. There were no secrets she could keep inside her from Kira. She couldn't say this in front of him. This was the one thing that she must keep a secret at all costs.
"I'm truly sorry to... to drag you into all my troubles..." She struggled to sit up again, still shaking. Rivera rolled out of bed and to her feet in the two feet wide space between her and the window by her bed, on the opposite side of where Kira was. "I wish you could just... forget about me... forget that I ever existed... All I've done is make you worry... Maybe..." It hurt her like daggers to try and say what was on her mind. Her whisper grew even softer, to where she wasn't even sure he could hear her voice anymore. "Maybe you'll be better off with a girl you won't have to worry about... I'm sorry!"
A pair of brilliant steel wings shot from her back. Each feather was as smooth as silk and as thin as paper, as bright and pure as moonlight. The edges of the feathers were deadly and sharper than some of the best razors in the world. Kuro had once encountered them when she fought him in the forest. When they burst from her back, they weren't ejected with the usual care she took to eject them. And there were no slits for them on the back of her hospital gown. The feathers instantly ripped through the bandages around her chest and the soft fabric of the flimsy, almost translucent gown, tearing it to shreds as it unfurled. Rivera dragged the sheet off the bed and around her body as she left through the opened window, like a strange white angel against the dark fabric of night. Her wings weren't fully developed for flight, only for gliding, and so she landed to conceal herself within the branches of a tree on hospital grounds, swallowed up by the darkness of the night.
Only several seconds later, Kai arrived with a bouquette of flowers. Usagihana wasn't with him, having, strangely enough, ran out of batteries after exerting so much energy arguing with him and doing whatever else she does during the day. She had returned to the dorm to recharge on stand-by. The moment he walked inside, he saw that Rivera was missing and the window was open. A single, small, steel feather was left behind on the bed. Kai knew immedieately what happened.
He turned to Kira, "What... what just happened here?" Without waiting for an answer, the blue draconian eyed Atlantean set down the flowers and began to take off the long black coat he always wore. "Anyway, don't blame yourself... I have a pretty good idea what happened. I shouldn't have left you two alone without giving you certain warnings. My bad." Underneath the heavy jacket, Kai wore a sleeveless biker top much like the type that Rivera often wore when she was training with Kairyu.jumping onto the window seat, he braced his feet against the outside wall and kept his hands on the windowsill, trying to sense her aura... it felt like she had deliberately reversed her aural presence to hide herself. Kai could formulate the exact opposite match-up of her aura by calculus. It was a few moments before he found a sure target.
"Stand back, Kira. You don't want to get slashed." Making sure that the way was clear, Kai's wings extended in a flash of silver. it was made of a darker and duller looking steel than Rivera's, but the edges were even sharper, patterned with the light and shadowy tribal markings floating beneath the surface of the steel. Pushing off from the side of the building, Kai shot straight towards Rivera's location. It would be Kira's choice whether he follows or he doesn't... Rivera was just going through some shocks. It would be over quite soon, but she would have to learn to restrain her mind from hypnosis. There were things he understood that she couldn't just say.
He found her in an elm tree, the white sheets draped around her, the long end floating below her branch with the ends of her long hair. There were small drops of blood at the center of her chest. Kai lit next to her. "Kamichama, what am I going to do with you?" Rivera looked up at him silently, bewildered and confused of what might happen next. It was all going so well... she just had to go and remember what happened. It was one of the memories she acquired from the Aquarian Ages, one she didn't think mattered until Kira stole her heart.
Kai sighed and placed two fingers on her forehead. "Your chaos level is too high. You might want to tone it down a little... it might help." Rivera felt a cool sensation spread from Kai's hand onto her skin, flooding her body. Her muscles instantly relaxed and she could take a deep breath.
"Th... thank you..." She placed her hand over her chest, feeling wetness. Spots of redness came off. "I don't know why this keeps happening to me... I'm ... just a burden, aren't I?"
"We can argue further upon that subject later. As for now, we're going to have to do something about the blood..." Kai muttered. He couldn't heal Rivera because her Chaos presence was too strong... no one in the hospital had been able to, after all. At the moment, she seemed reluctant to go back to her room.

Kira watched in awe as Rivera spread her wings and flew away. He wanted to let her know he didn't mind the worry, that he didn't care if she was well or unwell. All that mattered to him was that they loved each other and that was all he felt from her. When Kai came in Kira was still recovering from his awestruck phase and once Kai had flown too, Kira regained his senses and spread the pure white wings on his back and followed. He followed Kai and chose to land in the tree Rivera was in. After Kai had finished talking he made himself known by dropping to the branch above Rivera then lightly floating to the same one she was on. "Rivera... I..." Kira searched for what to say. "Listen... If I didn't worry about you... Would I love you?" He asked quietly. "You may make me worry but that worry only let's me know that I still feel as I do for you... And... To forget you... I could never do that... I'd rather die before I forget the beautiful young woman I met..." He said quietly. His mind was racing and he was thinking quickly as he could about what he should do.

Rivera was silent, she looked away, not knowing what to say at all. For a few moments, she just thought and continued to think. After Kai dropped her chaos level by absorbing it, she felt a little calmer and easier to restrain her mind. She just hoped that whatever triggered that memory wouldn't come back too soon.
Kai shook his head. Magic wasn't going to phase her. Taking the small first-aid kit out of his pocket, he began to rummage for a roll of gauze. He kept that kit with him everywhere he went. It was just his luck that he ran into about three or four hurt people every two or three days. Three-fourths of the time, Rivera was one of those people. There wasn't a week where she didn't use up at least ten band-aids. Although many of her old scars faded faster, there were always new ones to take their place. Some of them are too stubborn to fade and remain a permanent part of her body. Kai continuously reminded her to be a little more careful... then again, Rivera's standards for 'careful' is the average person's 'dead-on reckless'. Hell knows what she was like when she wasn't careful...
"Here we go..." He produced a roll of white gauze and some neosporn. Rivera looked up, still a little pale. Her eyes were cygnet-blue with lingering guilt. She was just a problem child. Still at age 14 or maybe 15, she was already going into trouble most adults will never encounter in their entire lives. Plus the side effect of her Chaos Continuum made her completely reckless. She couldn't feel pain when she was using the Continuum, at least, if it wasn't a severe blow and a few minutes after the attack. She didn't know her limits... it only created trouble. Normally, she would just leave the bleeding alone. It usually stops before she bleeds to death. But trying not to worry people meant obeying them. She couldn't be the wild gyrfalcon princess anymore. She had to try and act a litte less like a... beast, of sorts. Rivera let the sheet slip off her shoulders to fall around her waist, revealing her chest.
Efficiently, Kai began to bind up the wound with a dab of neosporn and yards of gauze strips. Neither of them showed any signs indicating recognition or protest of indecency. Rivera sat up straight, letting Kai do what he will. Kai worked thoroughly without appearing to be disturbed or intrigued by any of this. Neither of them seemed to care whether or not Kira was watching. Here, it was just the two of them on the elm tree in the dead of night, a journey back into time when Kai would fix Rivera up after sword practice when they were small children. This was their own little world, where the only balance and connection that mattered was the bond between brother and sister.
"There," Kai tied off the last loop and tucked the knot in a comfortable position. "We better get you back into your room. You can catch a cold when your immune system is still trying to catch up." He tried to think of a way to get her back in. Rivera only knew how to glide. She was never strong enough to fly, and now she wasn't even strong enough to jump-glide onto the second floor. Kai knew that he was too big to even fit through the window with Rivera without missing on his first try. "Hoi, Kira-kun. Do you mind giving us a hand?"
"I'll get there myse--"
"No You won't."

Kira watched the whole scene unfold. Until Rivera's chest was exposed. At that immediate second Kira blushed deep red and turned so he wouldn't do the dishonorable thing. He heard Kai ask him to help and simply nodded. He simply stood on the branch and picked up Rivera gently, the bladed wings cutting into his arm, and walked to a clearing in the canopy of trees. He spread his wings and flapped three times lifting into the air silently. He then glided gracefully with precision to the hospital then flapped once to gain the last bit of height needed to get through the window.
Kira landed with ease and set Rivera on her bed gently. He had ignored the bleeding of his arm and sat back in the seat nearest her bed. "Rivera..." He sighed her name quietly. "Please don't ever ask me to forget you again..." He requested though it was more of a command. He would never be able to forget her. He loved her with all his heart and always would.

Loki dashed into the hostpital and grabbed five packs off blood, and two IV's. He quickly grabbed the stuff and and payed the nurse for the trouble. Loki payed in gold and then after picking his stuff together he dashed out of the hospital and back to the library. He just hoped he would make it in time before something else went wrong and he would hate himself for it. He ran past students who didnt see him and to the steps of the library door.
