Persephone couldn't help but laugh lightly under her breath when the devil went unnoticed, Seems Jay likes to help young ladies before strapping young men. She laughed again, then realized she'd refered to him as strapping and she inwardly denied it.

 The sound of laughter caught the Devil's attention. He turned his gaze to the source of it. Ah, the young rose filly. He grinned again. Well, maybe he might go home with more than one slave after all. Allowing the Shop Keeper to attend to the temper-tantrum being thrown by the succubus girl, the devil strode over to Persephone's cage.
"And what is your name, little flower?" He asked, his voice smooth and deep, like velvet.

"It's okay, I get sick a lot.." Meredith laughed slightly. It was something that was hard to explain with words. "I'm Meredith. Pleased to meet you, miss.." He answered. I guess I don't have to be so polite since we're both slaves, but I am sorta used to it...

Persephone felt the chills running down her back like pin pricks. Slowly she turned to face none other than the devil. Oh no, its him! She cleared her throat and stood. Creating a rose she faced him head on, "As they say, a rose by any other name will smell as sweet, so does it really matter?" She said, trying to be whitty and sarcastic. Be annoyed and walk away.

She was new here and a little afraid, espicaly since the color on her neck stoped her from seeing deeper and calling or sothing people like him. She sighed. "I'm pleased to meet you to Meredith... if you don't mind me calling you by your real name. "He seems very nice.... " She thought as she turned her head when he did, to see the man who she thought was going to buy him, talking to the woman with vines around her. "What is that man doing? He is cute but I thought he was going for Meredith....."

He watched the person he was beginning to think of as his master talk to the other slave, who seemed just as scared of the man as he was. Only, she made it more apparent than he had. Meredith always chose to do as he was told since being defiant would get him in trouble, and taking too much abuse would have a negative effect on his already frail body. "Stary.. D-Do you like it here?" The words came out of his mouth without much thought. He would probably regret asking later, since it was a painful subject for some of the slaves, but once things were said they couldn't be taken back. "Never mind me, never mind me,

"Oh... ok" Stary gave him a smile as she watched as watched the man talk to the woman who seemed a little scared of him. Shaking her head, she turned back towards Meredith when he asked her a question. "Huh?" She turned to look back at him. "No.... I don't like it here.... She whiispered as she wraped her arms around her. "I can't feel the animals speaking to me here.... I'm pervented from feeling them or seeing them."She looked down then shaking her head. "What about you Meredith?...." She asked. She wouldn't be suprised if he answered her or not.

This girl held a more modest beauty, but the devil simply found it more endearing, nothing like the slutty slaves of Hell.

He wondered why people like her ended up as slaves, since they certainly didn't deserve it. He, on the other hand, had no other options. It was either slavery or death. Death probably would've been the better option.

Meredith preferred the shop out of fear, since any sort of person could come in and buy whoever they could afford. That included bad people, criminals of all kinds. Persephone didn't like the way he was looking at her. Knew the man...fetch it? How old was he and by what means did he plan to gain the information. She bit the inside of her lip and spun her rose between her fingers, "If you must know, I am Persephone." She said, her voice steady.
