((You're right, editing that really would change a lot of your post... Hmmm. I'm guessing you started typing that before Valter's post? I have an idea of how to make it work with minimal editing though. Something along the lines of: "...But, he was bored, so he checked it anyway. Inside, he discovered that the room was very poorly lit. Perhaps it was just because he was alone, but it almost felt as if someone else was in the room with him. As he stood in the doorway, allowing his eyes to adjust, he heard footsteps approaching behind him. Rei wasted no time in getting ready for battle, but as he turned he discovered that it was just Aran." ?))

(( Well, I'm in the same room as you are, since they're hardly marked and I need something good to post about. We could just make it some idiot humor, and make Rei find, like, a coatrack in the same room, oddly in the middle of everything. And yeah, I started typing it up before Valter's post. I'm all for the idiot humor, though. XP ))

(( XD Hahahaha! Sure, that sounds funny.))
If it hadn't been for his training in stealth, Matthew's heartbeat would've skyrocketed from the mages entrance to the room. He was able to keep his cool easily though, thanks in large part to the fact that the mage had been yelling at a cloak on a hat-tree upon his entrance. ! He's that mage from before! I wonder if I might be able to use this as an opprotunity to pickpocket him? The thief took a moment to consider this and decided against it. After all, if the keys really were that important, then it was incredibly unlikely that he'd just carry them around with him.

Rei was getting flustered at the figure's lack of a response. So, he smacked the figure, and it fell to the ground. When he actually LOOKED at it, he saw that it was a coat rack, in the middle of the room. Why? Who knows? "Wow. I'm losing my touch.... it's a freaking coat rack thing..." He just kinda stood there for a sec, and then he saw something 'interesting.' "Ooooh! It's a book!" As he looked at it, his eyes widened. "Holy crap. It's a Strategy Guide for Star Ocean 3! AWESOME." So, enthralled by the book, he sat down, and started flipping through the pages.
(( And that's my first silly RP post in.... a while. XP ))

A strategy guide? For Star Ocean 3?! Sweet!!! I was getting stuck in that game. Using the mage's distraction to his advantage, he crept up behind him, hand on his dagger, and... . . . . . read the pages from over the guy's shoulder.
A few seconds later, he got the knowledge he needed to beat that crazy puzzle. He couldn't waste any more time in this room though. It was obvious that there wasn't anything else of use in here ((including Rei. Eclipsed)) so he slipped out the door and into the hallway.

(( Oh, that's mean... XD ))
Rei, content with his find, got up, and left the room. But, just before he got out of the room, his sleeve got caught on that blasted coat rack. "Ugh. Stupid thing.... " After getting his sleeve undone, he quickly left the room, and almost ran back to his.
(( No, he didn't see Matthew. He was veeeery preoccupied. :3 ))

Less than ten minutes into the house and he'd already had two close calls with the same mage... I severely underestimated this mission's difficulty if everyone in here is that eccentric.
Before anyone else could potentially make use of the hallway, Matthew picked the lock of the next room and slipped inside without a sound.
((Thanks again. That's something that I avoid doing, and for that reason actually. Anyway, food was sooner than I thought. See ya soon.))

(( Just giving you more posting space. Double posting would get annoying and probably be a bit godmoddy... XP ))
Rei jumped onto his bed, and took out a pen and piece of paper from his desk. Quickly, he wrote down how to get all of the good items, and all of that kind of thing. He never was one to search the books more than once for something. After finally acquiring all useful information from the book, Rei let out a pseudo-maniacal laugh, and let it echo through the halls, just because there were so few people around...

Aran stopped as he was walking up the stairs to his room when he heard something or someone move. "Anybody there?" He called out but no response, he carefully went up, double checkin.

The maniacal laughter hardly concerned him, for he could still hear footfall coming his way. As the suspicious voice called out, Matthew could only hope that it was in reference to something else or, better yet, from a different room entirely. Damn... Looks like I chose a bad room to enter this time. A dark corner probably wouldn't do the trick for him on this one. Thinking fast, Matthew quickly scanned the room for anything to help him conceal himself, settling on pressing himself against the wall on the far side of a wardrobe/armoire/dresser thing and hoped that it would be enough.

Nils heard noise from the other room. ... What in the world is going on up there...? He didn't move to investigate, however.

"Hello. Melethia's here trying to fix some of her bandages." She said while in the bathroom changing the bandages on her eye.

... ... ... ... He let out a breath of releif, as it seemed that if there was a person nearby, then they weren't concerned with this room. Good thing too. What was he thinking, hiding in a place like that?! His stealth crystal wasn't even close to being dark when he stood in that spot anyway! (([/Thief reference])) Confident that the coast was clear, he began to quietly search his way around the room for anything valuable or related to his objective. The search would prove to be rather fruitless though, as it seemed that this room didn't have anything of importance either. Not even anything that could be sold.
