he looked around noting many signs of animal travel, and looked back to her, "not long at all, 30 minutes for something small but enough for the two of us, in this area. and i supposes i should explain about my eyes. they can shift between normal vision and that of a kind that allows me to see the heat signatures of othe beings and the world surrounding me. this can be a problem however with bright light when it pops into existance as it trys to make my heat sensing vision and regular vision occur at once and this casues pain. i was in a transition phase back in that dark section of woods is all. jsut warn by booting me in the rump or something if you plan to do that, " he gave her a wink and a small nudge with his elbow onto her shoulder.

"as for the food are you getting hungry at all? is that why you asked?"

he smiled at that cute little strech and motioned her for her to walk with him and began wandering through the forest. they walked for some time and he called down titan and the little bird flittered down and landded on his houlder remaining there for some time before flittering back into a tree. "if i might ask m'lady, what is your relationship to the other demi-humans/humans that live with you? if you cant explain in short writing then that is fine, but id like to know."

"Io and Nika? i havent seen them i dont believe. That Galilee was the one i had the confrontation with in the woods i believe. id like to spar with him actually. Kataio was the one i paid for the bandages unless im mistaken. now i dont know that you can explain it by writing in the dirt, so i might be able to help." he began to dig in his pouches, "i have a ring somewhere that should alow us to speak... i dont know if it will work, an enchanter from my plain made it for his apprentice.. how i got it is not so pleasent a story and one i guess i will abstain from unless you desire to know of course," he rummaged around on his front and side pouches and said, "ahah! we are in buisness," his tail had taken it out of one of the pouches on his back an raised it above his shouler. his tail extended out towards her, the ring dangling from its thin tip.

the ring was a bleached bone of some kind, with one spike like tooth on either side of a marvelous sparkling blue gem that floated between them unmoving, "the gem is solid, dont worry, it will allow you to use the hand language of the dark elf race. i learned that when i stayed with them so we can speak in a sense. it is increadably complicated, but you will know the entire language with it on, you will get dizzy probably as it floods your mind with the new information. if you dont feel comfortable with it then you needent wear it but i ask that you keep it in case we need to speak quickly."

he smiled inwardly as she brushed his tail, though his outward fassad never changed. he motioned for her to continue, "as you wish M'lady, if you wish to try it just put it on and we well speak for the first time as it were."

he plopped down in front of her folding his legs and with a soft smile watched her turn the ring over in her hands, "it wont hurt you. if youd like i will put it on my finger first to show you if you do not trust me yet."

he took the ring from her hand and slid it on to each of his fingers, it slid on each resizeing to each, the only thing that remained constant was the gem floating between the prong, "any finger my dear, any finger," he handed it back smiling still.

he grabed her hand and squezed lightly whispering, "just a moment longer, dont worry, relax and let it come to you, it will be as if its always been there. the intricate hand gestures will be easy for you and you will probably marval at this ability for for a bit as your hands will be moving in ways they hadnt before. we wont talk much today, your hands will b e sore by tommorow, new muscle use and all."
