We had a mock-trial in my law class, I was a lawyer. I'll admit, I was getting pretty excited about my cross examination... I spent about two hours making it solid and emphasized. However, I had a partner. My partner came to the trial, I told him I had a lot of solid questions. He told me that he hadn't made any questions, but had written notes in the margins. When the cross-examination was called, guess who jumped up? *facepalm* it was awful, he was awkward and took forever and made only a few miss-able points. ugh.
I was having a crappy day before that, it just put the icing on the cake.
