You promise not to leave, right? Yume sobbed harder. It was so hard to not be overwhelmed by all of this compassion she'd been shown. She didn't want it to end...just...not yet...she'd suffered too much for this happiness to be taken from her. She loosened her hold on Pander. If you can't make that promise, then...please, don't lead me on like this...! It's tearing me apart just knowing that this happiness might end...that this happiness might end at the will of God. Don't make a promise that you can't keep...please...don't hurt me like that.

I can't promise I won't leave. But I can promise that I will always come back alive.
Pander would only ever leave to fight, never for another woman. He wrapped his arms around Yume, holding her close to his body. She was the best thing that had happened to him since he met Jangen. Yume felt cold against his body. Why?... He didn't know.
He released his hug, pushing her down onto the bed playfully. He laughed, pulling the sheets up over Yume's body until they covered her chest. H smiled, kissing her gently.
Go to sleep. You'll need your rest. If you need me, I'll be out in the living room polishing the weapons. Ok?

Yume nodded, still slightly sobbing. Pander, you're going to come back after you polish the weapons, right? She sat up again, waiting for an answer. I don't want to be alone again... She needed him to be her pillar of strength right now.

I will return your sword. My room is directly across the hall... but yes... I'll spend the night here. If you want you can go into my room and we can sleep there. The matress is a bit softer and the sheets are warmer on cold night.
He smiled, standing up from his seat on the bed. He walked over, taking Yume's sword and walking to the door. He leaned on the frame, her blade resting over his right shoulder. He winked at her before walking back into the living room.
Behind the back of one large chair was a large fireplace. The chair faced the fireplace, the small table beside the chair piled high with polishing and sharpening tools. Pander rested Yume's blade on a stand then unbuckled his Blood Rapier and Jangen's Obsidian Black Rapier from his hips.
He sat down in the chair as he leaned his sheathed swords beside Yume's. He picked up her sword and rested it across his knees. Pulling out a wet stone, he began to run it along the length of the cutting surface of the sword. It probably didn't need sharpening, but this was part of his routine for sword maintenance.

Misa sniffed. "They're right..Light. Aren't they..?"Misa asked and then stood slient.
Lighttt nodded. "There is...but..still...someone is going to die...And the only person who has the item to stop this curse is.....Sayo."Lighttt said and looked up at Misa. His face was worried.Asuna..this thing that could stop the curse...could it actually stop it?"I heard of the item to stop it...its called The Wind of Spoons.." Lighttt said.
"I heard of the item too but I don't know what it does.."Misa said.

"O-ok..." Kaori whimpered, keeping both her eyes closed and her hand tightly pressed to the right. She paused for a moment as she listened to Meghan's question. "No..." she whispered faintly. "I'm used to them. Hard to escape when you haven't got a home." Her pointed ear twitched very slightly as her attention shifted to Lighttt and Misa's conversation. The Wind of Spoons? she thought to herself. That didn't sound like any life saving item she'd imagined... It actually sounded pretty strange.
Kai had his arms crossed over his chest and had seated himself near Meghan and Kaori. He still didn't show obvious signs of worry, but inside he flinched everytime she did. He sighed almost silently, and frowned, reluctantly turning towards Misa and Lighttt. He blinked in surprise as he heard. "The Wind of Spoons?" he echoed. "What the hell is that?"

Riashi hovered over the trees, looking down on them with satisfaction. THere was enough here. She would get situated first and then go find that pure child. She would need her blood to open the seal. Suppressing a grin, she fell with unimaginable spped and landed lightly on her feet. Standing to her full height, she moved toward a cave nearby. Beyond it would be where she would make her home.

Before he lands, evils tells Pallas mentally, keep an eye on that girls thoughts, I don't want another Laurelei incident, and if you can, push her emotions towards liking me more like a Queen should her King. Evil lands and heads towards the cave after Riashi.
Understood, Master, Pallas replies mentally as he lands.

Mergex stood in the forest patching up some of his wounds. He still laughed though. The pain...was power to him. He was hiding in a tree. He looked over as he saw three people land. He felt a small fly land on his shoulder. In another language the fly told them of the three. He had scouts everywhere in the form of flys.
He looked at them smiling as they went in. This world was his. There army would not take this world. His would. He carefully watched them sending his fly to watch them.

Having found nothing to do on campus he decided to go for a walk, following his nose mostly he appeared in front of a dense looking forest, smiling Wolvey entered. "At last get to stretch my legs for a bit." He ran into the woods.

Meghan listened to Misa and Lighttt, but she didn't find it interesting, although she knew it was life-threatening; still, she didn't care too much. She felt a tinge of fermiliarity in everything that had happened between the two, but she ignored it as she looked at Kai. "You know, with Kaori-chan hurt and everything," she said, soft enough for only him to hear, "you don't seem to show any emotion. You don't seem worried or anything..." she trailed off.

Kai turned back towards Meghan, blinking in surprise. Then he sighed, running a hand through his hair. "That's because..." he paused, closing his eyes in agitation. "I've never had anyone to care for, so it's hard to show it now that I do." He frowned again, slowly brushing Kaori's hair from her face, pulling back sharply as she whimpered again. His fists clenched tightly. "I'm pissed that I can't do anything to help and I wasn't here when she needed me!" He bowed his head, teeth clenched. "I was off watching that television thing..." he muttered in anger.

[Ack! I know...The Wind of Spoons..I couldn't think anything else up..Hint: At the end of Misa's and Light's story one of them will die...]
"I know it does sound crazy....but what happens is that you put the item around victim's head and then whoever is holding the item gets the curse instead of that person who had the item around their head.."Lighttt explained and then signed. "We have to fight Sayo...to get the item.."
Misa could not believe this was happening to herself! She stood there sliently. She signed and tstood slient once again.

Meghan clenched her fists, looking up at the sky. She let out a small laugh, shutting her eyes as her head swayed slightly, looking the opposite way of where Kai sat. "You know, I might just have to slap you," she said, under her breath, hoping no one heard it. "If you want to help her," she said a little louder, turning his way, "then why don't you try comforting her, talking to her, anything. Even the smallest thing can help in a big way," she sighed, thinking she sounded old. [[i say taht a lot, don't i?]]

Kai turned, glaring furiously towards Misa and Lighttt. "So no matter what, someone ends up with the curse," he muttered, teeth still clenched as well as his hands. "Great, this is turning out to be an awesome day..." His eyes snaped back towards Meghan as he silently took in her words. He suddenly felt ashamed, like a child being told something that he should have obviously known. Blowing out slowly to calm himself, he slid a bit closer to Meghan and Kaori. Slowly, he reached out and took his sister's hand, squeezing it gently. "It will... be alright," he murmured quietly. "The hour will be over soon." He winced slightly as she began holding his hand back, very tightly in what he assumed was a way to let out the pain. He just grit his teeth but didn't pull away.
