"You can," he said kicking a little further out into the water.
"Why is that?" Valzar asked as he worked. "It's all the same thing, isn't it?"

Ro shrugged, accidentally splashing more water on herself "Ugh... well I'll be busy with my work. I can't just leave it to go float in the water everyday.."

"There are these wonderful things called breaks, Rowena," he glanced over at her. "Perhaps you've heard of them?"
"Let me try the center ones," Valzar said moving to work with them.

She glanced at him and made a face "Yes I've heard of them... but most of the time I can't take one. Interruptions aren't good for most of my research."
"Okay!" She pushed any middle pieces she found to him and worked on the edges.

"Don't think of them as interruptions, think of them as an opportunity to reflect and refresh..." he grinned. "It's all in how you look at it."
Valzar smiled, finding the activity quite a bit of fun. He was even good at it.

She rolled her eyes "No matter what I can't afford to take that many breaks. I'm going to devote myself to my research... the only interruptions I'll allow are kid crisis'"
Synne grinned "You look like you're having fun Val!"

She smirked "Well I figured you'd either be with me or nearby... but you can interrupt me to if you like.."
Synne giggled "Yeah they're fun! Its easier to do them with someone else.."

"Are you sure?" he asked swimming by her. "I'd just hate to keep you from you work..."
"They are fun," he said nudging together a few more pieces.

Synne grinned as the frame of the puzzle started to come together.

"Nice to know where I stand," he grinned back. "Still, a nice break every now and again couldn't hurt..."
"That looks good," Valzar said watching her work. "This is a big puzzle..."

Ro shrugged and stood up again, wading in the water. "I suppose... I've never been one for breaks though. I'd rather work straight through.."
Synne nodded "Its one of my hardest ones.."

"I know..." he said quietly. "And I can see you working straight through the day and night forgetting about little things like sleeping and eating."
"I can see why," Valzar said fitting a few of his pieces onto the frame.
