Itachi watched things intently in the background. The leaves rustling against a tree branch, causing the most soothing of noises. The creatures Itachi could see, edging a little closer towards the edge, curiousity getting the best of them. It was curiousity that killed the cat right? So why on Earth would it be any different for any other creature alive? It wasn't. Period. Curiousity will eventually lead to death one day.
This was all meant to distract Itachi. So far, it wasn't doing the trick. The small smile on Nami's lips made him think the promise wouldn't need to be put in place. Itachi quietly sighed, unclenching his fists and fixing his net shirt. "Promise me," He began, inhaling, "Promise me if you choose to come back, to come in one piece." It was a rather pointless promise but Itachi still wanted confirmation.
[[Kurai's watching, amused... yeahyeah and all that jazz. CONTINUE ;D]]
Akane nodded, eagerly. Games were fun; amusing if you may. Akane's smirk matched Kira's, blooming into a full-out smirk. Her walk had changed into the beat of skipping, getting used to the feeling of barely touching the ground. "As long as it entertains me to some extent."

Kurai frowned. "Does that mean no one wants to spend my moneh recklessly?" The frowned vanished. If they didn't want to spend her cash, she would. The more for her the better right?

Nami frowned. 'I can't promise that...' As quickly as the frown lasted, she smiled, trying to cover it up. 'Not with where I'm going.' She turned back to him; no need to try and stay away. As if it'd make leaving any easier.
"Of- -..." She was about to say 'of course.' But that would be too suspicious, really. She deeply exhaled out of her nose. "I'll try." She then noticed something. He said 'if you choose to come back,' not 'when you come back.'
Did he ... nevermind. Even though she herself wasn't sure if she was or not, she didn't want him doubting that she'd just completely leave h- - them. ...The Akatsuki. A whole. Not just one person.
She raised her hand up beside her head, palm facing Itachi as if she were swearing on a bible. "Yakusoku." She smiled again, winking. She didn't want this to be so sad. But, it probably wouldn't do any good.
"Now, as for my secret..." Her smile saddened. "Don't tell me that I'm doing any of this."
[[Yakusoku=promise. ;DDD ]]
Kai lightly brushed his hand against his crown. Of course, she'd choose that. Of all items. He gave a petty snear.
"Fine." He lowered his eyes a bit, making them half-lidded, with danger practically being etched into his being.
"... Ladies first?" The edge of his lips tweaked up a bit.
'I only like a game with some kind of twist... or just some violence. Or arguing. ... Hm. No wonder I hate children. They argue too much.' Kira huffed quietly as her skipping slowed. They were practically there, might as well yell out or some s**t. Just so they weren't 'late.'

Itachi nodded solemnly. Would her word be enough? No, not for Itachi it wouldn't. If he could only follow her, but that was out of the question. Sooner or later, Pein would assign another mission to him. A mission requiring him actually being there. Things would clash completely. Although, if it weren't for the trust Itach had formed with Nami, Itachi would stay put. He'd wait and wait.
The purpose of Nami's wink was to lighten the atmosphere. It didn't do it's job well at all. None of it affected him at the least. Itachi nodded slightly. Nami's word was enough. For this time.
His nod was also one for her following statements. Itachi didn't quite understand at the least bit but, if it's what she wanted....
"Sure, sure." Kurai grumbled under her breath. "Ignore the poor injured girl." This was definetly she hadn't experience. There were few who could turn away from the amounts of money Kurai offered to do a task. She did numerous tasks back in the day. Ones involved with large pay. Certainly, at the time, ones she enjoyed with her whole heart.
"If I say my shopping spree is for whoever wants it," Kurai paused thinking her words over. "will someone take it?" Shopping was soo boring by yourself.
Akane's breathing was even and she shoved the door Kira had previously pointed to and where the chakras were coming from. "Heeeeeeelllllooooooooooo!"

"hai, hai and sure, i'll go if you want" she said while streching [don't need to have cramps on the way xD] then she opened the door and started running and she said sorry to the person she bumped into. not a 'super-speed' sprint that every ninja does, just a fast pace. "now where should i hide?" she said

Akane didn't bother to hide her disapointment. "This is all I get? Just 'cause I was late for the ******** game?" She shook her head. Kids, these days....

Nami stared down again, sad smile still in place.
Her secret meant that... she didn't want to be reminded of whom she was hurting; what she was doing to herself as well. But, of course it didn't make sense, it was Nami speaking.
No more could be said. The conversation was over. What else could possibly be added, that going for both of them? Well, actually, Nami could add quite a few things. But they didn't matter. Er, they wouldn't matter to him. She didn't think so, at least. Stupid things; hollow sentences. She shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot. She held her hand up to cover her mouth, in if to cover up some unknown sob. She kept her gaze down.
"I should... I should go now." She smiled into her hand for some reason, even though she wasn't near happy. The tears agreed.
Kai waved at the newcomers and looked over at Kurai. "Sorreh. I got caught in the mood." He chuckled again. "Dun't forget Zetsu. He needs a new door, cuz someone put a hole in his." He looked back to the door Awai had ran out of. He'd give her a little bit of time. As for now, "Wanna play?" He smirked. Might as well have 'teams.'

Awai stops and thinks "come to think of it i didn't eat anything yet, i'll just make a little deture" she thought. as soon as she was in the kitchen she made a bento "*sigh* better make 2 just in case" and after she made 2, she went back to the game.

[[Sorry. High school is more of a pain in the a** than I orignally thought.
You wouldn't be messing up any of my characters! It may just be me since I'm in theatre, but you must adapt to the situations, mm?]]
Itachi's gaze was gentle. Although he himself didn't like being pitied, he couldn't help himself and it showed through his eyes. Gentleness, sadness, pity all shown through. Itachi could've feigned happiness but what would the point of that be? Nami would read him like an open book and become even more hurt or worried than what he had already caused her.
There are times when words are nessascary. This was not one of those times. Even if it was one of those times, Itachi couldn't find the words that should've come to him effortlessly every other day.
Itachi did something he shouldn't have. He brushed his hand against her cheek; an action of affection. If this would have any kind of impact on Nami and hurt her, again, could Itachi forgive himself? Of course he couldn't. A genuinely sad smile was spread on his lips. Itachi's hand gently dropped down to Nami's shoulder and looked her straight in the eyes with a small nod.
Kurai rolled her eyes, a little more sharper than usual. Did Kai believe all the money she had would be used up for one freakin' door? If that's what he believed, oh boy was he wrong. She got up off the floor and limped back towards the bed, lying down. "Tell me who wins. I'll think of another prize. No one seems to like shopping sprees around here." The last sentence was mumbled to herself, trying to make her think.
"You don't need to find her. You can just-" Akane shook her head in an attempt to keep her awake for the time being. "-ask Kira-chan to spook her back here!" Her eyes shifted towards Kira. It may be a lot to ask, but it wouldn't be a lot to ask. Not of a ninja of this standard anyway. "She pretty much scared the crap out of me with the little voice thingy so.."
