CONCERNING LUCIOLE


Kia is getting an A2 size of this original which is why the price is so high as she does not usually sell these. She created it for Kia's contest & she does not usually sell this size for commissions which is why Kia is paying that much. Her payment includes shipping.


Mekania, regarding your commission.

Luciole has currently been having an art block with your particular character. She has infact done many efforts to create the perfect piece for you. The reason is she wants to do something fantastic for you, & trying to do so she has been let down...by herself. She dislikes the pieces she makes, then tries again, then makes another one - over & over.


From what I know she is going to cancel the commission payment by sending it back via paypal, she has yet to obtain your paypal account for it but also send all the pieces that she has worked on of your character to you {there are indeed a few}.



Zephy, your piece is next in line from what I know. That's all I can say, I don't really know that much about it.


I have specifically asked for my RL commission to be last so she can get over & done with her current commissions. Luciole is currently stressed in real life with finals & her piano exams.


I assure you that Luciole will finish as soon as she can. If anybody has any questions feel free to contact me.


& I must also add that Luciole is a very trustworthy artist of commissioning & she has an amazing creativity of talent. Please don't let the previous statements put you off commissioning her. She's a brilliant artist as well as a friend & I am happy to have one of her originals hanging in my room.

And, uhm...Thanks Lili. I would have prefered to hear something from her seeing as though she is the one I commissioned and she HAS read my note. And she can't send me the money back because I don't have a paypal account that's mine. But that's something I would have to discuss with her if she ever contacts me. I'm not mad at her or anything, I understand but it irritates me a bit that I have to find out my commission is being cancelled by someone other that the artist herself only after I bring something up. If she couldn't do it, I would have liked if she just told me.

*nod* yep, that's also true. I never do that unless I specifically say that there are a minimum number of entries for a prize to be given out. And I always take off the lowest value prizes first. Of course, sometimes I'll only get 2 natural media pieces, but one of them will be so utterly prize-worthy that I give the prize anyway. It's just a way to make sure you aren't giving a prize to pieces that don't really fit it. However, I don't anticipate having that problem with this contest...I fully intend to give out all the prizes. xd I'll be very sad if I can't give them all out, especially the writing prizes.

They are on Gaia, but only take rl commissions....seems like the going rate is typically around $75... sweatdrop



Lili--thank for the update on Luciole. whee ; Don't worry, I don't think anyone here was bashing her...we were just a little concerned. 3nodding Speaking of which...I don't suppose you know the status of my sketchbook commission from Luc? xd ; I'm waiting patiently, but it's deffinatly the most I've ever spend on a commission, so I'm getting kind of anxious about it. whee
