Tear shook her head. "No, that's not the worst of it." Her fears had been realized: she had been wanting to tell someone for years, and now that she said one thing, she couldn't stop! "He killed my family. My mother, my sisters..." She looked sharply at Baylor. "And i could have saved them too. It's all my fault. I need to get out of this forest and find that demon, so i can kill him and avenge my family's death." Her purple eyes glistened with tears and determination.

"I know this must be hard, but you need to calm down and concentrate. You're my friend, and I care about you as a friend. I swear I'll help you fight this out, got it?" Baylor asked. He then smiled at her. "I'll always be here to help ya out when you need it, ok?"

She blinked slowly, then looked back at the ground below. "Yes.. i know," she whispered. She suddenly remembered Ariko and winced. "i just wish i could believe that..."

She didn't answer. She stood up and jumped out of the tree. Why does my life have to suck so much...

((Sorry for not posting for so long...now I know how you guys feel))
Altair gave a smile. but it wasn't altair that smiled but James.no need to feel embarasse about that lass I would feel the same way if I were in your position...what are you talking about... when your my age lad you can tell when someone is feeling something, no matter how slight it may be.

Teardrop looked at him for a second. Then, blushing, she smiled and nodded. "I don't know why, but i actually believe you." She flicked her tail. "Come on. Let's keep going."

Teardrop stopped a short time later, as the sun was just disappearing and casting long shadows in the forest. The moon had yet to rise, and only a few stars shone dully through the trees. Twilight was the worst time in the Demon Forest. Tear's ears twitched. "Is it just me, or does it seem like we're going in circles?" ..Or am i just not paying any attention to where we're going? She could smell Aiyuko and Altair. Their scent was fresh too. They're somewhere around here... I don't want to run into her again. But she couldn't forget the deal they had made earlier.

"I'm not sure, but I guess we're nearby Aiyuko and Altair. I think I hear them." Baylor said as his ears listened in on all the different sounds of the forest.He heard the bugs chirping, owls hooting, and some of the trees also. "I think... they're that way." Baylor pointed to his left. "But I'm not completly sure."
