It was a lousy nite and Bridget knew it wasn't about to get any better.... the rain beat down on her face and Duster as she walked past through the crowds of people, who made up the masses of New York City. She just happened to be in a part of New York where the masses would kill you for your sneakers if you were stupid enough. It was the middle of the month and Bridget needed cash to cover next month's expenses so she took on an odd job now and again for Eddie Sullivan; bailbonds man. He had talked her into taking this 'Skip' ; so her she was going to put her butt in a sling getting this guy. She made it to his girlfriend's last known address and went up the step and into the building. "The place was a sewer"....the stench almost made her wretch.. and She continued up the stairs to the third floor and moved down the corridor. Bridget did one last com-link check with Sanchez to make sure there would be a ride down on the street when she and her charge got there...So far ..so good. She made it to the door and tested the door to see if it was locked; it was. She positioned herself kicked the door almost off its' hinges and she went in. "The woman seemed to be drunk or on something or both" thought Bridget. The man was reaching across the bed for something....Bridget moved fast and pinned the man to the bed and brought out the 'cuffs' and then jerked him to his feet... There on the bed-stand was a .38; she picked it up and took it with her..the woman had regained enough of her senses to get up and smack Bridget with a lamp. Bridget just smacked her and down she went... she commed Sanchez that she was on her way down with her package for Eddie. Sanchez rolled up to the apartment building just as Bridget and her 'guest' came out. The "Skipper' was none to happy about the whole thing and cursed and spit at Bridget and Sanchez... It was a 20 minute ride to the nearest precinct and one, Jeremy Sands was in thier custody and Bridget and Sanchez were 5,000 richer.

Haruko emerged from a basement in the city. He had finaly given up on not having any real roof and had moved all of his stuff into this new place. It was also closer to the Dojo. It was dry and warmer than his glade, most of the time. It had no windors or electricity, but it had mains water in the form of a single tap at one end. He had put up faintly glowing wards all around the celing which gave the room an eirie purple glow.

Arceli was walking home when she was attacked by a man with a knife. He grabbed her and she let him think he'd overpowered this poor defenseless girl. "Handbag... Give it me, quick." he said and she began to comply, But as she was about to give it to him She dropped it on the floor and kneed him in the groin before he had time to react. He let go of her and she grabbed his knife hand with both of hers, twisted it, spun around him and then wrenched his wrist as high as his neck, driving him forewards and down onto his knees. She wrenches it again and the man whimpers, and drops the knife. She leans foreward and whispers in his ear, "I'm a real b***h" though he doesn't know how true that is. She lays a knee on his back and braces him there with it while she pops his shoulder out of it's socket. She then drops him, picks up her hand bag and walks away. Humming a little tune that sounded something like Veruka's Tantrum song from the origional Willy Wonka movie.

Arceli was thoroughly envigourated by her transformation and now without the sense of guild she had recently managed to shake after killing she was a new woman. She went home and got changed and cleaned up, Having a quick shower and washing the blood from inside her mouth, and then she was ready for a bike ride, and then to see if her ammo had been made. She decides to wear sensible clothes for the bike, full biking leathers in fact, but neglects to wear a helmet. She knew she owned one, somewhere. She goes downstairs and hops on her bike, pulling the front end back as she accelerates away to start in a wheely.

With a flick of his wrist, the vampire brought his silver lighter up to his cigarette and lit it. Twirling the lighter with his finger, he closed it and slid it in his pocket. He was exceptionaly good at doing such tricks, his many years of swordsmanship have paid off. He perfered light swords, weighing no more than 4 pounds, so he would have full use of his agility. He enhaled the smoke and placed his hands comfortly in the pockets of his leather jacket.
The vampire's blue hair was pressed against heavily against his head because it had soaked up much water from the light rain. Sighing softly, he turned into an alleyway, waiting for someone in the shadows. Folding his arms across his chest, he watched silently, only the light of his cigarette visible in the dark alley.

The vampire pressed his cigaarette against the wall as he heard rushed footsteps. His eyes, which were attuned to darkness, saw a woman with in a brown trenchcoat and long, blond hair rush through the alley with her work briefcase. Just before she could pass him, he stepped into the moonlight, blocking her path. "Well, good evening ma'am," he said softly, his tone cold.
The woman jumped and dropped her breifcase as he suddenly moved out of the shadows. She was trembling slightly, nervous of being stopped in the middle of an empty alley. "Eh.... er... Hello... Do I know you?"
"Here, let me get that," Daragio said in reply, ignoring her question. He bent low and picked up her breifcase. Standing up, he held it in front of her. "Here you go ma'am."
"Er... Thank you," she replied hesitantly. "I'm sorry... but I most be going now." She turned around and took a step, but when she turned, she saw that he was in front of her. He face was one of pure fear. She turned around again, and with a quick swish, he was in front of her once again.
"I'm sorry ma'am... but I'm very hungry," he said quickly, his lips curling into a cold smile. Two of his upper teeth seemed to grow in size rapidly, until they were fang sized. The woman couldn't believe what she was seeing. She let out a scream, but just as she did, he plunched wrapped his arms around her and bit into her neck, sucking out her precious blood.
When he had taken his fill, he let the body fall lump on the floor, then dragged it into the shadow, behind a trash can. She soon would become one of the children of the night. Placing his hands into his jacket pocket, he walked out of the alley.

They had escaped the sewers and so far hadn't seen any persuit.... It took awhile but Sanchez figured out where they were. In the meantime Bridget did a damage assessment...and bandaged her wounds from her mini-med kit. "The rain would work in thier favor diluting any scent the lycans might of had." she thought. Next thing was what to do with this car. Sanchez said he would take care of everything but i needed to see someone about my wounds.... "Head to the Hunter's Club...and drop me off...I'll be all right til then. The lower leg wound throbbed unmercifully as Sanchez pulled up to the Hunter's Club and Bridget got out. Bridget limped not to the club itself but to the the entrance leading into Haven.

Echo gritted her teeth, trying to be patient. "This is so fuc-" she stopped mid-sentence and glared down at the street below her. With a smirk, she jumped from the roof and landed in front of a mortal, who looked rather lost.
"Hello." she said, still smirking broadly. "Yes.. Hi. I don't know who you are exactly, but I don't like talking to strangers." he said, gripping something in his hand, which was in his pocket, tightly. She looked down at his pocket and saw the outline of a gun. She looked back at him, completely amused. "So you're going to shoot me, are you?" she asked tauntingly. "Well, I do have the right-" he stopped talking, as he could no longer see her. "I'm back here.." she whispered in his ear from behind him.
Screaming, the man lost all dignity and tried to run, but before he could, Echo bit deep into his neck, and drained him almost completely. "Pulling guns wouldn't be a smart thing to do." she said coldly. She left him there in the middle of the abandoned street, as she walked down the sidewalk, going nowhere in particular.

"Messy? Certainly not. I see no blood." And it was true, there was no blood, nor bloodstains anywhere. "I clean up, see." she smiled. "Anyways, people would think that they were crazy if they saw me suck the blood from him."
