Tye swam deeper, still, and his lungs began to burn, no matter the frozen terrain around him...
Yet, he continued...
Starting to feel numb, he began to swim faster, unable to feel the strain on his legs and arms...
Damn-it!... Damnn-it!... Damena-it... D-da-damena-it...
He thoughts even became slurred as he continued onward...
He used his last breath to reach out with his arm, as low as he could possibly make it, and he felt Kysha's hand, just as it slipped deeper, out of his reach.
"Comebbbb Backkkkk Hererrrrrr!" He shouted in the water with as much power behind it as possible. if he were a spell weaver, she would have shot out of the water, through the boat from the force.

Tye reached with all his streingth* towards Kysha. he made slight contact, but missed again.
He started to lose consiosness... he could see very little as he continued his descent.
again, he reached, again, he failed.
the water started to gain presure as they went deeper. soon, he could feel his ears snap, and, soon after that, his ski began to crawl, even through the numbness.
He tried to speed up again, but his muscles cramped up.
as a last attempt to reach for her, he lowered his hand again, veins popping out red with lack of oxygen.

Tye grappled her hand and felt a little force from her too. He began to swim back up... until he realized he had no clue where 'up' was. the force of the heavy water stopped him from realizing which way to go. he chose a direction and started swimming. tension loosened a bit, and he could tell which way to go. He lost full consienceness as they floated back to the top, though how, he probably wouldn't be able to guess.
after waking up, still holding Kysha's hand, he realized the boat had drifted out of sight, and he could only just see the land. they had no chance of getting back to the vessal. lucky he brought big-man's rappier into the depths, though, he lost everything else in his box-pack. he started to shake Kysha to see if she would wake up.

Tye gave a nervous laugh.
"uhh... you're a-alive, that's g-g-good. but we s-s-seem to be missing a b-boat... i think we may have t-to... s-swim back to l-land..."
his shivering in the cold water messed up his speech, but he managed.

"I-i think t-t-that's a g-g-good i-idea..."
Tye moved closer to her.

Tye felt the energy from the small burst of heat surge through him. he used it to catch up to Kysha, and swim the rest of the time.
"wow... wonder how long it will take us to reach the shore now... at least we could go strait to the sea port."
Tye felt something moving in the water close by.
"uhh... what animals are in this ocean?"

Tye looked grave.
"i think i just felt something pass by here..."
