themightyjello Anonymooo Mooo: "Okay, I have here a pair of binding legal waivers that both of us will be put under no-metahuman-powers restraint. We will be reduced (if you can call it that) to the status of a normal human of our size and build for our fight. This means that my uber-freakin'-durability doesn't work any more, and I can't punch you through the length of a car. You game?" I swear, I really need to find a way to get more people in the tournament to just throw down. xd That'd do it. Honestly? 3 of my characters will make statements like that at the beginning of their fights. Another one of them will just force it by creating an ability-nul zone. xd Edit: Is it bad that when I started reading that, I immediately thought that you'd have gotten those off of Kami? Ability-nuls aren't allowed.

Kanos Ability-nuls aren't allowed. There is no rule in this tournament against "ability-nulls", and I just checked. domokun

Kanos Yeah, but it's an AMP rule, isn't it? If it's not against the rules for this tournament, and I'm not told by a judge that specific instance is in violation of the rules, I dun' care. domokun

Psh, who needs abilities anyhow. I'd rather wack somebody down with my sword rather than my character's ability.
*Sighs* But eeeeverybody wants to use their abilities on me right off the start. Not to many people know how to do good ol' regular Hand-to-hand combat anymore.

Deity's actually holding off on his 'powers' longer than he expected against Mally... xD ...he hasn't done much more than hand-to-hand. Superhuman hand-to-hand, but still... < <

I'll do what's needed, as I did in my last match. But I prefer Hand-to-hand or weaponry, not fighting with abilities. I don't know, I just like thinking about actual physics and realistic situations rather than think about..Powers, which are completely unrealistic.

Just because powers are not existant, doesn't mean they can't be realistically applied. That's one of the big driving parts of how my 'abilities' even function. =P Fact, that's why I love my character's offensive ability.. it can, seriously, be adapted in a hundred or more ways. And versatality can win a match well.
Plus, if need be, it can reinforce my melee.
A left hook, then a right straight that suddenly has a 'serpent' of red light flow out of his knuckles once it goes it's full reach, touching up against your neck and lighting ablaze? Works. domokun

Heh, I suppose they certainly do come in handy. I'll probably get used to 'em, but I still want to train my character as much as I can in pure Hand-to-hand.
Anyways, I'm retiring for the night. Farewell everybody.

Kanos Yeah, but it's an AMP rule, isn't it? 1: No one cares about AMP 2: There's no such thing as an AMP "rule" 3: No it's not, why the hell would ability nulls be munching?
