Baizou looked up at Trina and shook his head, "No, I'm okay!" He told her, climbing down from the hearth. His ears swiveled to catch any noises and continued over towards her. He wasn't sure why, he just felt more comfortable closer to people.

This time, Kaen blushed all the way to her ears. "I...I punched the floor....after the shadow thing went away....," she said, looking down. "The dent's still there...." She looked up, her hair covering one eye.

All three of them stared at her and then Tali laughed, "Is that the famous red ears? She does look cute!" "I know! Kaen you look cute!!" Asphiel laughed looking at her red ears, "Leave her alone. She was really brave that day. That shadow could've killed me and she saved me."

Trina smiled and pushed a chair out for the young Baizou, nodding towards it. "Alright, feel free to ask though, anytime." She said, nodding. "Sleep well?"

Kaen blushed even harder. "W-what do you mean, the famous red ears?" she snapped at them, trying to sound angry, but failing horribly. Especially after hearing Asphiel's words. "I-I just sensed the metal in him....it was the only way I could think of stopping him. If he hadn't been stopped....you, Sapphire....my baby...we all would have been killed."

Baizou climbed up onto the chair and folded his hands in his lap, "Uh-huh! I slept really well." He said, playing with his hair as he examined the many knick knacks along the room.

"I have been sensing a dark force around these areas, but I never thought it would attack." Su said while his bot slipped. Asphiel placed his hand over her head, "A hero." "Famous red ears was a hero. Kai didn't lie when he said you turned really red." he said walking to her and grabbed a ear. "Hey do you sense it now Su?" "Uhm, no." he lied; the fever didn't let him sense things anymore.

Trina nodded. "Good." She watched him look around, smiling faintly. All of her friends, except maybe River and Drakhir, had been children at one time. She had never thought about it. She had never been one, physically that is, so she had never thought it. Trina imagined the young versions of Tomo, Ellie, Kaen, Arlen, Lily, and even Jad, smiling at the thought. She then wondered about the very serious Aitrus, but could not envision him as a child.

Kaen looked up at Asphiel, her blush fading a bit. "A hero?" she whispered, then yelped in surprise as her ear was grabbed. "Let go! Only Kai's allowed to do that!"

Baizou finished looking around and went back to his glass of water, sipping it happily. He looked back at Kaen and the angels ((Kaen's angels?)) and turned his red head to the side. "Grownups are noisy." He decided, sitting backwards in his seat to watch them.

Tali let go a bit scared, "Sorry. Then only Pidgeon can touch?" "She said Kai not me. Ignore him he just enjoys the attention." "I just thought the ears looked cute..." he backed oof and with his hand finished removing the boot, but the leg was badly bandages, "HEY!" "Your leg is in such bad shape you didn't even feel me removing the boot." Su lloked away, really not caring. Asphiel looked back at Kaen, "You should share those ears more often."

Trina supressed a laugh. This one was funny. "Are they?" She asked, liking his perception, the young Bai's outlook on things.
