spartan method. teach others to help themselves, it is a very effective way of doing certain things, and it is better for the one being helped in the long run, though in the short run some people who don't think much into things get offended at it...though it really is the way with the person who's being helped best interest in mind.

there is another quote, this one not by you, that says, "give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. TEACH a man to fish, and he'll eat for a lifetime." It's a very common, very mature philosophy...though like i said, a lot of times the person being helped overlooks it like the selfish sh^ts they can sometimes be.
