Mooo: "Okay, I have here a pair of binding legal waivers that both of us will be put under no-metahuman-powers restraint. We will be reduced (if you can call it that) to the status of a normal human of our size and build for our fight. This means that my uber-freakin'-durability doesn't work any more, and I can't punch you through the length of a car. You game?"
I swear, I really need to find a way to get more people in the tournament to just throw down. xd

Tacitus That depends on which incarnation of Mindblaze ye fight, Dressy-kins. If, by some chance, you fight the Avatar again, he can't do melee, so I'd have to refuse. We'll see. And ******** post as Pikachu already. By incarnation, I mean the Heart of the Dominion. As pikachu, no way. Unless a judgement call is made, cause the science gurus seem to balance both sides' in votes. So gonna hafta ask Moo to make a call on it based on the science given by the gurus.

Dressy-kins: In that case, a melee brawl is possible. And as for a ruling...
Moo, do your job. XP

I could just go on a vacation and let everybody else "figure it out" on their own, considering I'm the only mod doing his job--HEAR THAT, NIGHTZ? xp
The Dreslin-Ikibe match has been contested since, well... ********, months ago. Dres, Ikibe--START A THREAD IN THIS FORUM TO DEBATE IT. GET MULTIPLE OPINIONS. For those wondering why I ask for people to post their two cents in those threads, it's very simple: I'm not gonna profess that I'm an end-all be-all fount of RP knowledge, so I'm gonna get as many opinions as I can on something before actually making a ruling on it.

I swear, I really need to find a way to get more people in the tournament to just throw down. xd That'd do it. Honestly? 3 of my characters will make statements like that at the beginning of their fights. Another one of them will just force it by creating an ability-nul zone. xd Edit: Is it bad that when I started reading that, I immediately thought that you'd have gotten those off of Kami?

Moo, you do realize there is a thread for the Ikibe vs Dreslin debate, right? Theres even one for my Avatar vs Dressy-kin's Pikachu, which I doubt he's actually posted in.

To busy honest, I am caught in the middle in regards to the maneuver. I understand that Taci wouldn't do the maneuver unless he thought his character was capable of it, but there is also the information from the science gurus to consider.

I've been tearing through the request thread, my inbox, and the branches--I've barely had time to even come in here for longer than a few posts. I'll take a look at the threads in a minute.

God do I hope I don't have to fight a science player anytime soon. Science complicates everything, especially when mixed with something that not only is meant to defy the laws of science, but is open to a whole lot of interpretation no matter what you do. Plus the science-players always seem to be such jerks.

Dreslin but there is also the information from the science gurus to consider. No there isn't. HIS CHARACTER DOES NOT FUNCTION ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF PHYSICS. You're in the red. Post.

Tacitus, I know this may not be a good way to resolve the match. But what do you say to a die roll via a Gaia post. You call it even or odds. You get it right, I forfeit the match. You don't the right one, I win. Kinda stupid I know, but it would bring a real fast end to it. What do you say?

Dreslin, A large deal of the science given doesn't matter as A: we're in a fantasy setting and I'm using a construct of light. Have you ever been walking down the street and seen one of them? If you have, I really gotta see it, cause that'd be cool. XD
