Irvine ignored the pain in his shoulder and the pain in his thigh. The one on his back hurt though, however he managed to ignore that one too. He sighed and continued to stare at her.
"Well, would you like me to say 'I'm sorry'? Cause if that's the case, your waisting your time. Sure, you've provided me with everything I needed, and I've thanked you. However, I have gone through hell and back. Literally. I was tortured for an estimated 4,000 years in demon time which is a pretty long time. My mother is now dead because she sacrificed her self for me. My father has disowned me for what I've become. The blood of both friends and enemies are on my hands. I've become power hungry and a monster and I hate myself for it. On top of it all, I'm technically your "slave". Now...How would you like me to act?"

"What would you say if I said that I'd like you to act like a father?" Sighing she lay down beside Irvine, "Release the bonds that hold you as mine if you agree to father my child. I've been thinking a lot about it...I want a child of my own. I'll continue to feed you the energy you require to kill Xol, should you agree. I'd ask Xol to do it, or I'd simply stop killing the child before it could grow, if I felt like having my child fathered by a demented and twisted warrior." She paused for a long moment, letting her words sink in. She would have asked K, but he was a little more then half her age. Xol was simply twisted. Truinthil was far to manipulative to agree to something so simple. Focht...she was planning on simply forcing Focht, but that damned Lady got to him. Irvine was her last option.

Irvine was speechless. His mind raced at what she had said. His heart began to beat faster and he sweated slightly. He turned towards her, a new, different gleam adorned his eyes.
"Become...a father?"
He looked at her for a moment in complete silence.
"You must be joking."

"As much as I hate myself for even allowing a thought...no, I'm quite serious. I've been watching Phia and Draeken, watching the gleam in their eyes when they look down at the tiny bundle of life they created. The little children of another guild running around my feet...I just want to know what it's like. I've always used my magics to manipulate and seduce men...what I really want is a child. A life that I created."

"But surely you can find a better candidate for a father then I. I mean, I'm not the greatest guy around either...I regret many things and...I just don't think I'm the best father for your child. Isn't there someone else?"
Irvine was confused. He wasn't sure why she was asking him. I mean, him, of all people. Irvine would have loved a child before, but now...with all the things he had done...was he really capable of taking care of and raising a child?

"You weren't exactly my first choice Irvine. I can see what you think, I can read what you feel...you're not exactly the best choice for a father in anyones eyes." Sighing softly she rolled onto her side, facing away from Irvine. "I'm not asking you to take care of the child, nor am I asking you to look at me any differently. I am simply asking you to provide the seed. I would perfer if the child not know who it's father is...but if you choose to take an active interest in it's life then I can't really stop you, can I?"

Irvine watched Heswina's back for a while before rolling over onto his back. He looked up at the cavern ceiling. He closed his eyes and recalled his childhood. Summer breezes and spring showers filled his mind. Playing with other children and watching the knights stood out in his mind. He smiled for once. Then, with a sigh he turned back towards her.
"Alright..."

She already had her next little speech all worked out and was completely off guard when he accepted! "Alright?" Giggling she turned to face him, "Most men would be a bit more enthusisastic about helping me with such a task, and all you have to say is alright?"

"Well excuse me for not jumping on you, and doing you on the spot. If that was what you had wanted, that was all you needed to say." stare
Truthfully, Irvine wanted to be a father. He had always wanted to raise a child. To teach it skills and life long lessons. Protect it and train it so it would be able to protect it's own child. Now would be his chance to fufill that dream.

Laughing behind her hand she sat up and stared at Irvine. "I never wanted you to 'jump on me, and do me on the spot'. Hehehe." Letting her hands fall down to her sides she leaned forward and gently pressed her lips against Irvine's. He was her last chance for a child. Was she even ready for such a responsibility? Did she really want one? What would she do when her body began to change? What was she going to do once she was holding it in her arms?! Was she simply going to stop her plans and take care of the child? And what of Irvine? The thoughts all flashed through her mind through the course of the kiss. Almost instantly after she broke the kiss away did the thoughts stop flowing, "Maybe just be a bit more passionate about it."

Irvine had a feeling about what was going on in her head. What she was thinking about. He could tell from her lack of passion in the kiss. There were uncertainties. Irvine smiled to himself. It was true that women couldn't really set their minds on one thing. However, Irvine already did. Therefore, he took the initiative and leaned upwards. He gently placed his finger under her chin and directed her lips to his own. He held a passionate kiss like that for atleast a minute. When he broke it off, he smirked and looked at her, his gray eyes twinkling.
"Any uncertainties should be put to rest. For now, think of the child and only the child."

That was sufficient for Heswina. Barrier after barrier after barrier wound themselves around the cave. The lights darkened and the world became so silent that Irvine could hear Heswina's heart beating, which was beating extreamly quickly. A small blue light hovered above the two, illuminating the pitch black cave. She still had her doubts, and still had her concerns, but she assumed that it was natural to have such feelings. Dashing all reason and regard pushed Irvine back onto the soft bed of grass.
Sorry ladies and gentlemen! To protect the BC from the wrath of the TOS we're going to have to end it right there! blaugh go have your dirty thoughts somewhere else!
