*MK got up and dressed for the day, noticing that Zaryn was still passed out. He locked up the lab, and ported out after kissing her on the forehead*

The vampire ported in, and immediately made her way over to her daughter. She played with Zaryn for a while, until the girl began to grow sleepy again, and when she did, Nalini clambered back into bed.

Nalini sat bolt upright in the bed before clambering out. She pulled on her coat and boots, and in a great temper, ported to the Main Level.

The vampire ported back into the lab, now a great deal calmer than before, and made her way over to Zaryn, who started making eager noises when she saw her mother approaching. Nalini gave her a cuddle, and sat down with the child.

Nalini awoke, and realised that the only other person in the lab with her was Zaryn. She clambered reluctantly out of bed, and tugged on her boots and coat. She then woke up Zaryn, and they both ported out.

The vampire ported back into the lab, and looked around. It seemed strange with only her in there now. Shrugging to herself, she pulled off her labcoat, kicked off her boots, and clambered into the bed.

*MK appeared in the lab, Zaryn in tow, and walked over to hte bed where Nalini was resting. He lay Zaryn down beside her, removed his coat and boots, then kissed Nalini on the forehead before he got in as well and passed out*

*The captain awoke while Zaryn and Nalini were still sound asleep. He smiled and grabbed on his coat and boots before walking out of the lab and down to the main level*

Nalini awoke with a jump to a bouncing bed. She looked startled at the girl who was jumping up and down on the mattress.
'Zaryn, what the bloody hell are you doing?!' she yelped.
Zaryn giggled and jumped off as Nalini sighed, shook her head and crawled out. She tugged her labcoat and boots on, grabbed her daughter by the hand, and dropped her off into the security centre with Vault, before making her way to the Main Level.

'Right, you, no jumping on the bed tomorrow morning, understand?' Nalini firmly asked, as she and Zaryn both appeared back in the lab. 'Sorry, Mummy,' she giggled. 'It's not funny. Not unless you do it to your father,' she added, giving the girl a cheeky wink. 'But I didn't say that. Goodnight.'
She settled Zaryn in for sleep, before removing her coat and boots, and clambered into her own bed.

'Mum?' a voice asked. 'Mrrphh...' Nalini replied, keeping her eyes determinedly shut. 'Mum!' 'I'm asleep,' she grumbled. 'Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum!' Zaryn demanded, and started tugging the duvet off the bed. 'Alright, alright, I'm awake! Do you bug your father this much?' Nalini said, sitting up, and giving her daughter a mock annoyed look. 'Yes!' Zaryn grinned. 'Bleh...that's not too bad, then,' Nalini replied with a yawn, clambering out of the bed and replacing her boots and coat. She then grabbed Zaryn, and ported out.

Nalini ported back in, and began rifling through the lab, searching for something.

The vampire finally found what she was looking for. She slipped something into her pocket with a grin, and ported back to the Main Level.

Nalini made her way into the lab with Zaryn, and quickly settled the girl down into bed. 'I don't wanna go to sleep!' Zaryn protested. Nalini sighed, and crouched down beside her daughter.
'I know you don't, but this is important. Mummy has something to discuss with your Uncle Vault.' 'What?' 'I can't go into that,' she firmly replied, and kissed Zaryn on the forehead. 'Please try and get some sleep.'
She then made her way back to the Main Level.

Nalini made her way back into the lab, and was surprised to see Zaryn jumping on the bed.
'I thought I told you to go to sleep!' she scolded. 'And I told you I wasn't sleepy!' Zaryn retorted with a giggle. 'Get off there, go to bed, and get some sleep,' she ordered. 'I'm going to do the same.' Zaryn grumbled and moaned, but obeyed, after reaching out to her mother for a kiss. When Zaryn was settled, Nalini pulled off her boots and coat, and clambered into the bed.
'Goodnight, Zaryn.' ''Night, Mum.'
