He nodded, "That is very true. I have waited so long a few more days won't matter." He listened and then he laughed though the sound was not like a laugh most heard. "You leave that to me Gale. I will convince her to speak with me in my own way and my own time. I am trusting your very capable hands to get her exactly where I need her. Then I will take over. Do not worry, everything will turn out in due time my friend."

Terran raised an eyebrow at Kaden's laugh. Sometimes he thought the young elf to be a bit over zealous for his own good sometimes. Even him, being a high elf, knew that too much confidence could bring a downfall. "I still offer my word of caution. No doubt she'll come armed and if she turns on you, she's quite the good shot with her bow. I wouldn't put other combat forms too far from her ability either." Quiet for a moment. He really didn't get Kaden's plan...all this deciet to get Piper to talk to him, and then what? Let her go skipping back about her merry way? "Somehow Kaden...I can't help but think there is more to this talk you want with her. I like to know what I'm neck deep in, care to inform me what you intend to do when she tires of talking?"

"We'll just go ask the wizards to find him. That will work well, Dragon's do make great food, I mean magical equipment. This scimitar is made with several different spicies of Dragon." Tarathiel partially lied. It was made with dragons, not with their parts though. This joke brought another chuckle from most ofthe nearby crew. "We'll take WH, and... Lavi."

Saying Lavi's name brought a bit of another chuckle, it was amusing to be one of Tarathiel's pirates.

"Sir, we can locate the beast with a life detection spell, I can track him from your side." Warhammer said calmly, bringing a smile to Tarathiel's face.

"Ok, I'll get Lavi, and you can... Cast your spells." Tarathiel pulled out a whistle, and blew softly into it. Within moments, the ship stopped moving, and from beyond the bow, a fairly large bronze dragon emerged from the water. "He was a gift from Lloth." Tarathiel said with some chill, "Stolen from his mother, who was later slain by my eldest brother. Lavioislthelium. Or, simply, Lavi. He sank most of D'mitri's ships." The bronze dragon, who's scales were mostly aquamarine and blue, flew about the ship a few times, before landing on the stern. The ship rocked backwards slightly, but this only made more pirates laugh.

"Come, come, Special prisoner, we shall hunt dragons from dragons." The drow laughed. "It will be a grand adventure... Remember to wear your cloaks of non-detection though, we are leaving the ship's field."

Kaden's eyes narrowed, Gale was asking questions. And questions often got risky. He waved his hand as if to dismiss it. "Terran, what exactly do you think I mean to do to the girl? Gut her and leave her out to rot? I plan on merely showing her what she has missed out on for all of this years. I want to know why she left and what she's been doing. Piper and I used to be friends and I want to see if I can restore the old camaraderie in my own way." Half truths were best. He had no intention of spelling out what he intended to do to Terran. He'd run and most likely alert that drow or her father and hten his plan would be finished before it began. Not to mention he needed Terran's cooperation. "You worry too much my friend. Just leave everything to me."

"The way you talk...one could assume so." Said in a way so that he wasn't personally making the accusation. "I'm just saying...she's not one to sit around and talk to whomever. I got my fair share of her odd ways. She seemed afraid of my mere presence before I even got on her bad side. Jumpy almost." Though a raised eyebrow. "Which is it Kaden, friends or betrothed?" Kaden seemed to use the term interchangeable when he spoke of Piper. When they first struck out together, she was his betrothed, then his friend, then back and now again back. Terran shook his head. "I've been told I worry just the right amount..."

"Size doesn't matter, right?" Indded the green dragon she had seen was much larger than this one, though not any less impressive. "And dragons always have to have long names, don't they?"

She shook her head. tarathiel seemed to get excited whenever killing something lay in his future. And since she was invited she waisted no time in mounting the dragon, barebacked no less but then she didn't see the captain as one to use a saddle. "Well?" She asked "Front seat or back seat?"

Tandundra, having becaome quite frustrated at the hieghtened security at the castle, had reverted back to dragon from and was ciclring the city, just out of bow range, just far enough away to not look like a threat. Although he was beggining to think about it...but if he destroyed the castle then he risked the change od loosing the entrance to the catacombe like structures beneath the streats...and while there had to be another way in, he didn't know where it was. He shook his giant head, trying to clear it. He had never been the best at stratigic thinking, there had usually been an Oracle on one end to do it for him.

"Front" Warhammer said as he mounted the lizard behind Aella, "Tarathiel rides in the beast's claws. They love each other." Simple, yet insane nevertheless. How many sane people willingly sit in a dragon's claw.

After a few moments, Lavi took flight, clearing the ship, and heading for Deep Water, not too far in the distance. His circular rout confused the passagengers to where they were actually coming from, and once they left the ship, it seemed to disappeare. Warhammer shouted directions over the sound of the rushing air, which seemed to glide over everyone's body more than touch them.

"There is some maic about this perticular beast." Warhammer said as he patted the sides of the Dragon. Within moments, another beast was seen... a bigger beast.

Whirlwind smiled at Warhammer, gald to have him along as well. "The dragon's claws?" Then she laughed. "If that's how one gets their thrills then who am I to judge?" She had after all, just suggested a dragon hunt and was partaking with nothing more than sheer silks and a wind staff.

Riding a dragon was an experiance all in itself. The feeling of the wind gliding around them, which she very much enjoyed, made everything deathly quite. Not the stillness of no noise, but the calm that comes from so many sounds meshing themselves together. It was like traveling through another world. It was also cold. Great decision there, Aella.

She pointed. "Ready for the fun to start then?"

Tanundra meanwhile, was so caught up in his own mussings that he did not noticed the oncomers. Indded it took some time before he realized that he was smelling the presence of another dragon. Turning on a dime to face this new arrival, half expecting a youngling admirer from the past, as had happened many times bfore, the other half expecting a territorial fight.

"Ah I have merely become obsessed. I need to see her. You see Terran for a long time I believed she was dead and now that I know she lives I want to know everything I can about her. I also have a suspicion that this drow she's with...there's something not right about him." He sighed for a moment and then said, "She is my betrothed though a friend as well. We were to wed until she left." Anger and sadness filled him as he remembered that day he had found her note, that day his life had changed so drastically. "I merely want to find out why. It's not too much to ask her to give me answers to questions I have long wondered about is it?"
PostPosted: Mon Oct 10, 2005 6:48 pm

"Last I checked, obsession wasn't the best thing Ravenwing." Though a raised eyebrow and a snort. "Not something right with him? Since when is anything right with a drow...disgusting creatures." But Terran regarded Kaden a moment, clasping his arms behind his back. "I guess that's not too much to ask at all. The you intend to let her go back to her...drow..." God he hated vomiting up that word. "Or can we just kill her for her traitorism?"

Tarathiel whispered his commands into the dragon's ear. Lavi inhaled, and then shot a short lightningbolt underneath the other dragon's legs. Then, with a simple guesture, Lavi dove towards the city. The people paniced in his wake, but Tarathiel did not sway in judgement. The dwarven guards barely saw the beast as it passed through their visual range, and landed somewhere in the colussium. The noise shocked any within earshot, and made the nearby pleasents panic. The dragon shifted its weight to allow all the passangers a window to jump off its back, and then rolled to the side, and errected a barrier in the direction of the other dragon.

"Before you were worried that I intended her harm, now you yourself want to kill her? I agree that she should forfeit her life for her traitorous deeds. So, Terran you wish at the end of the discussion that we kill her? And you will have nothing against me if I do so?" He had found it, why hadn't he thought of it before? The perfect excuse. He wouldn't have to lie to Terran. He could simply tell him he intended to kill her for her traitorous behavior. Now how in the world had he forgotten such an important detail?

Most of the attack was easily avoided. Although part of it managed to snake across a foot. Well darn, if that didn't just hurt. Tanudnra snorted, this was not particular dragon etiquette...which would explain the people this one carried on it's back. He was under command then, which meant the dragon himself didn't have a reason to fight him. Wonderful.

Tanundra followed suit, gliding in the bronze one's wake, and let go a jet of flame when it slowed enough to let the passengers off. What is the meaning of this? What prompts such an attack? A demand really. You think these younger dragons would show a little more respect...

"I think you confuse concern for myself for concern to her. Quite the contrary. I am merely looking out for myself. Harming her would bring her Knight Malik with sword drawn and temper flared. I for one, have no desire to end up in pieces on the floor over some woman and your need to see her." But he nodded lightyl...yes he was still bitter about losing but being the high elf he was, his 'noble ways' demanded she be made an example of. "She'd make a good example. A good swift clean kill wouldn't bother me in the least." What? He had his dignity and anything less than merciful death was below him.

Kaden nodded, "Then consider your concerns seen to. I will talk to the little traitor and then take care of her in the proper way. She deserves no less and I'll make sure doesn't suffer." Too much, he added silently. He could lie through his teeth to the elf. As long as Terran felt like he was doing his duty, he wouldn't raise any objections or sound any alarms. "Now, go to the meeting place and wait for her there. I too will move into position. Namaarie and quel fara."
