*Than tried to chuckle a little but settled for a slight smile* Hai. I'm pretty sure I can take it..... the problem is I don't know if I can sit upright though. *He sighed* Won't know until I try..... *Once again, Than tried to press down on his elbow to push himself up. He refrained from letting out a sound, but he winced and gritted his teeth. The wound in his lower back was screaming at him* >< gah..... Of all the places Zeno could have stabbed me......

*Than was partly propped up, but could only stay that way as long as he kept his arm under him* Hmm? Oh.....a-all right. *He guessed that his trouble sitting up had dissuaded her, but he couldn't do much of anything about that at this point. Than eased himself back down and exhaled deeply* ~_~ good lord did they sap my energy while they were at it?....... *Than blinked once* And my manners too. *He smiled towards Kai* I really appreciate you taking care of me, more than once sweatdrop I'd take care of it myself if I could but too much happened too fast for me to do anything. Fenton: *blinks* mew ._. *Fenton sniffed lightly at the tea cup*

*Than laughed a little* And I'm grateful even more for looking after Fenton. ^^ I was worried what'd happened to him after your equipment was out of the citadel. I'm happy he's safe. *Than's eye closed. He was right about the lack of energy. Than's aura was all but gone, only a little bit of it "festered" in his body*

Fenton: ._. *sniff sniff* pah! *Fenton got on the ground and skittered off*

Than: *chuckled a little* He's bored is all. *Than reopens his eye and looked towards the blob of color he now knew as Kai* Iie. *Than propped himself up again, though not as much to spare himself the pain* What I do and choose to do are my decisions Kai ^_^ Otherwise I wouldn't do it. It's not your fault for what happens to you. And you shouldn't feel bad..... there were several good things that came out of this... and I found out some things that I think I should have known of. Besides..... I can still smile, and I don't regret what happened either. *He took a breath* Still..... I'll have to find a way to get over this handicaps..... I don't have a lot of time to spare from the looks of it.....

If he was so incapacitated, what could he do to stop Mastema's coming "invasion".... as he'd told Than in the mass driver room*

*To Kai's luck or misfortune, Than's eyes weren't focused enough to see her tears. Than looked towards her, even if he couldn't locate her eyes. He knew he felt the sadness from her.... but he had to tell her the truth..... he swore to himself that he would and had a reason for it back when Kai's memory and motives were in question. Than remains silent for a moment.... his voice cracked slightly*...Y-you're not......going alone.....are you?....

I know...... I understand that clearly..... I just... wanted to make sure you weren't going out there knowing you couldn't win. Get as many of your friends and allies as are willing. Truthfully I don't know how much time is left. *He sighed* Several things have happened. I don't know what he did to me...... but I know that my father's been building and has completed a mass driver in the mountains *He decided to explain it in further detail* With that he can launch an invasion of the whole region. The driver propels mass at high velocities in a certain heading while at the same time making sure the object goes high into the air. In the room there were containers which could hold any number of my father's mechanized soldiers. With that mass driver, he could bring down his army anywhere, anytime.....they'd drop right on top of their target. I don't know why he wants to spread through the region but there's little else that mass driver could do. From what I saw, he could launch right now if he really wanted to.....

*He nodded* I hope they can help. Gomen nasai... I don't know where the mass driver actually is... I just know it's somewhere in the mountain range by the citadel.... and there's... something else *He took a breath* The final Zenogais model is complete... I'm sure of it. I dont' know anything about it.... except I think I came in contact with the soul that's trapped in it. I.... may have just been dreaming..... but I could have sworn I heard the faint voice..... of a little girl. I was already injured... maybe I was hallucinating....

*Than heard an odd sound and blinked* Kaiori-san? >> *A few moments later, Pet's voice came* ah! *Than was obviously a little caught off guard* P-Pet-sama? how.... where were..... ??
