What Your Uniform Looks Like: Well, our band's uniform is a green top, almost in a giant checker design, with an M in the right corner. And ugly green pants. My uniform is different because I'm drum major. biggrin
Favorite Song to Play: This year? Medly(Jebus, how do you spell that word?) 2. Which had The Hustle and Got To Be Real in it. biggrin of all time? Getaway/September my freshman year.

Personality: I'm actually quiet(for being in my position, you'd think I wouldn't be, but eh.) Unless I'm hanging around my flute section. let me tell you. We are the craziest flute section ever. One guy, 13 girls. For kickoffs, they'd all take off the headjoint and blow into it really loudly. Yeah.
Any other Additional Info: I was the only one that tried out for drum major the year our class stepped up. I was still scared, though. My junior drum major, Thomas, was also the only one to try out his year. Oh, and my junior drum major? My height is about 5'5". Maybe give an inch or so. My junior drum major, Thomas? 6'7" tall. I looked like a midget standing next to him on the field. XD
Oh yeah, and the Grand National champions, last year, Broken Arrow?
I SAW THEIR ENCORE SHOW. AND LOVED IT.

Instrument(s): Saxophone primarily. I play alto in wind ensemble and marching band, and tenor in jazz band, college band, all-county, and solo & ensemble. I also took electric bass lessons 2 summers ago, and taught myself the oboe 3 summers ago because I wanted to appreciate it. But I just hate it more now. (No offense to oboe players!)

What Your Uniform Looks Like: Black (that makes it fun when the sun is out) with kind of blue diagonal stripes with some gray and silver in there. (my step mom thinks they look a little star treky...) And our shakos are black with a little arrangement of mirrors above the eyes (great for blinding people) and black plumes. Our drum major's uniform was pretty much the same, except she didn't have any blue on her uniform, so it was just black and gray. confused
Favorite Song to Play: I can't choose just one, so here's just a few: Slava!, Honk, The Incredibles, Amazing Grace, Toyland, and too many more...

They have silver tubas for like every one in the band (over exageration), but any ways... Band is a huge part of my life. If I wasn't In band I would have like zero friends. And the only reason we didn't make state last year was because We have the 'bad rep.' The other school literally messed up on purpose to try not to make it but they still made it in the top 6 stare That was kind of nice of them. We had people crying last year we made that much of an impact. Our band saying is One Band One Sound! heart

What Your Uniform Looks Like: Haven't got to high school yet, but I know that it will have blue and gold somewhere on it.
Favorite Song to Play: I love the 8th grade song "Fire Dance", I like a lot of others too.

Any other Additional Info: Yea, I'm a Goth. No, I don't worship Satan. Goths are Christians and what not, Cultests are Satan worshipers. To the average person we might look alike, but we are so different you can't even imagine. Anyway, I guess I'm an alright trumpet player. I like to think of my band as one big, somewhat dis-functional, family. Really, we're a bunch of goof offs, but some how, miraculously, we pull it together in the end, and we ROCK! I am so very proud of my band. I can't wait until the year I can wear a band uniform. Being in band has given me a sense of being apart of something so much bigger than myself, a team. Aside from the occasional spit valve juice on the head, or the smacking another student with my horn (pure accident!), or clanging together of instruments, it's the best thing that has ever happened to me.
