True. And there was a bunch of soya sauce and wasabi and ginger, but I was like, ******** sides. And this bed of noodles? ******** them.
I just ate the rice-covered stuff and called it a day.

I have only been scanning through things, who the heck is using a scythe?
When I first started writing I was like 'Oh man, I hope this doesn't seem like I'm pulling this out of my a**'
But now I'm like '******** it I'm here to win'

I have been interested in using a scythe in RP combat for a while, finding a way to make it work because of the unique opportunities the weapon presents.
Now, using the actual tool? A farming scythe? No.
One purposefully balanced for combat, taking advantage of the fact that you can use all kinds of space age or magical materials to afford it the proper balance.
It does not even have to be so outrageous, and certainly not so impossible and unwieldy. Depending on the design of the blade, and constructions, you can get something like a halberd. I feel like most people would not know how to defend against one.
In fact one of the main reasons I haven't bothered to push for it is because I feel it would be too cruel.
Also a bit more difficult to describe and convey the maneuvers accurately. I think that has been the main issue with the one used in this tournament, but i haven't read the fight myself.

Why not just use a halberd which is going to be a dozen times more effective than a scythe...

Technically KB has a scythe. Just because you know, that's how it is.
He just never uses it because he's emo.
