Nix smiled, "ok, give me a second." she wasn't nearly as good at art as Leo but she was still good. she sat with her tongue between her teeth and drew a very basic sketch of the ring, but when she was done she handed it to Elliot. though it was a lot like his mother's ring, there were also some distinct differences. "i combined them," she said softly, watching Elliot's face, "your mother's ring and mine, the two designs look pretty good together, don't they?"

Tsume nodded, "as you like. so now we just get to sit and wait for princess to be done, huh? fun job you've got, Kashi." he chuckled and put his hands behind his head, looking out the window, "so you doing alright? i mean, you didn't get much of a washing in by your own admittance, i can still smell the tears on you. your brother's plan worked out as he wanted it to?"

Nix clutched the top of her head, her eyes watering, "I didn't you a**! I saw it in a paint of your mother the girls showed me! Spirits be damned, why the hell did you hit me so hard!" she rubbed furiously, glaring at Elliot. "see if i ever do anything nice for you again."

Lewis came weaving into Al's study and smiled when he saw the gathered group, "ah, i thought i felt my ears burning. talking about me are we, not nice, my dears, not nice at all." he crawled up onto Al's desk, sending papers everywhere, and crawled across it and down into Al's lap. his legs stuck out on either side of the man's hips and his arms circled his neck as Lewis settled down and snuggled close. "morning."

Tsume looked over at Kashi before leaning back and looking out the window once more, "i'd like to know more about your past, Kashi. i know you probably aren't willing to tell me here where pink encrusted ears might be listening in, but someday i hope to hear the entire story from you. i think it might actually do you some good to tell someone."

Nix continued to glare at Elliot, dispite her face getting pinched and moved around. "I'll say whatever i damned well please. you aren't my brother yet. go ahead and snitch me out, that'll just make you a tattle tale. how old are you again? four?" she lifted an eyebrow and pushed his hands away. "if you tell, i'll tell him you hit me for no reason so there!"

Lewis smiled, "Our little elliot had to take the full brunt of his confession and break down this morning so i decided to comfort him a little. besides, the piano is shiny." he giggled and watched Elliot and Nix, "it's hard to believe they aren't really siblings with how those two are acting"

Tsume crossed hsi arms, frowning as he stared without seeing for long moments. "i believe i understand now, and i am sorry. no one should be treated like that. unfortunately it seems to be the fate of far too many gifted people on the outside. the fools think they can force it, but they do not realize when you are given a gift and demand more of it, the effect are dire indeed." he shook his head, "I am just that much more determined to take you back home with me. just you, not your idiot brother." but he thought he understood just what Ipo really was, and he didn't like it in the least. "besides, you don't trigger visions with ingesting things or anything like that. those idiots, there is such a simple way to do it and they didn't even figure that much out? really, and it wouldn't even hurt you, actually you'd just be asleep for a little while and wake up. that's it. easy as that, there was no need to torture you. those idiots, i'd like five minutes with them, just five, and i'll show them something really special."

Nix stood up on her chair, her cheeks red with anger, "not the first time! the first time you assumed i looked in your mind when i didn't so you hit me for no damned reason!" she grabbed his hand before he could hit her on the head again and used it to flip behind him, landing on his shoulders, her legs wrapped around the prince's arms and holding them down. she smirked and placed her mouth right against his ear before saying every swear words that she could think of, just to piss him off.

Lewis moved his head back and forth, "Do we have to? this is so much fu-" but then Nix was suddenly on Elliot's back and even Lewis blushed at the words coming from her mouth. he cleared his throat, "yes, well, maybe we should before Elliot implodes. now, now children. that's enough." he stood and hurried to pull Nix off of Elliot, the girl acting like a limp doll, making her seem twice as heavy as she was and very difficult to lift.

Tsume shook his head, "i don't like the smell of him. and from what i've gathered i can understand why now. nothing good comes from that kind of magic, mark my word. he'll turn on us sooner or later." he shook his head, "no, i'll keep my eye on him from now on. a wolf versus birds though,t hat could be interesting. you sound like my going would be a bad thing, but i can promise you i'll never go to that death trap. if they come near me that's another story.." he sighed and stood up, sitting down next to Kashi, "better. don't like talking across the room. anyways, Kaspians are dicks and you need to come home with me. anything else we need to cover? besides your brother being a dark little wanker?"

Nix hung limply from Uncle Lewis' arms and looked up at the king. she could feel tendrils of power gliding over her brain, trying to take hold, but slipping off and smirked, "you're trying to make me aren't you? so you've a mind control power too, but your is with words. huh-" she looked at the king curiously before shaking her head, "won't work on me, buddy boy, not gonna say i'm sorry either. even other mind readers can't get into my head, it's the reason i can touch my uncle's mind and not be taken over." she lifted her arms straight and slipped out of Uncle's grip, landing on her feet. "look, i wouldn't have sworn if he didn't hit me and at first it didn't saw anything that bad. the rest was just to piss him off and it worked." she crossed her arms, "but it got out of hand and i'm sorry, i guess. just stop accusing me of going into your mind all the time. i'm strong, i can't help what i hear, Elliot. For spirit's sack, i'm six years old! it takes half my concentration just to walk into a room and not be bombarded by the thoughts of every person in that room." he sighed, shaking her head, "look, i'm making excuses, but you have to give me some credit here!"

Lewis listened to Nix's rant as he walked over to Al, more curious about how his lover reacted to his ability not working on someone that what Elliot would do.

Tsume looked over, "we don't exactly have a monetary system there, actually it's more of a trade system. everyone helps everyone else out, plus with all the different species living within Falia there is no way we can agree on one system of money. we're more like a family there. as for who you would live with? that's easy, you would live with whoever you wanted. we've some folk like yourself, but that doesn't mean you have to live with them. we've systems set up for people who are new to Falia, kind of a half way house where they can stay while they figure out how things work and get their feet under them."

Nix shook her head, "how can i not hear it when he'll yelling it? seriously, you two-" she looked at the king and prime minister, "if someone is yelling right next to you, can you ignore it?" she sighed and walked over to rest her head on Uncle Lewis' side, wrapping her arms around him, "you guys have no idea what it's like to be able to hear what everyone is thinking. you're mind's really scary, Uncle Lewis. it's like Leo's, i have to block you completely or i'll go mad."

Lewis smiled at Al, but he put an arm around Nix, "i'm sorry, lovey. i don't mean to cause you pain, but i can't help it. Al, did you want to ask her about why it doesn't work?"

Tsume chuckled, "and i've barely touched the surface. not even i know all of the intricacies of Falia. the only one who does is out leader, Lily's mother. had thinks been the way they should have she would have been raised learning from her mother so she would be ready to take her place as our leader when her mother wished to step down." it was one of the reasons why they had such a hard time after their Queen had gone into the sleep.

Nix tuck her tongue out at him, "i can speak properly should i so choose, however that choice is most often made in favor of a more common tongue rather than the so called proper speech pattern of a young lady." she said this all with the proper diction and phrasing, "I have found, however, that speaking in such a way is not only tedious for the speaker, but for the listener as well. with observations such as these i have chosen to speak in a way that is not only more understandable to those around me, but also i so that i may let my personality be known and not attempt to hide who i really am." she pulled away from Lewis and crossed her arms, "good enough?"

Lewis laughed, "well, well. i'm impressed, what about you, love? think she knows how to talk correctly?"

Tsume shrugged, "you can wear whatever you damned well please. it's a little hot for a suit, which is why Elliot's things got thrown out the window. he'd have overheated otherwise. but if you want to wear a suit then wear one, just get one made of fabric like ours so you don't die of heat in that stiff thing." he ran his fingers over the fabric of Kichou's sleeve and shook his head, "not for me, thanks. granted my clothes are pretty much my fur given a different shape so i guess i don't really have a say in what's good or not."

Nix smiled and climbed up each man to give them a kiss, "sorry, feeling a bit bi-polar today but with all the thoughts and emotions everyone's going through swirled into one i can't help it! time to get back, my bathroom break went a lot longer than planned." she waved as she ran out, heading back to the classroom.

Lewis shook his head and moved to snuggle against Al's front while still standing, "she's a lot like someone we used to know, isn't see. all sweet and innocent looking until she opens her mouth." he laughed and kissed his king, "Send a messenger with the sketch, you are going to be busy for the next hour or so," he smirked at Al, lifting an eyebrow, "we're going to find out just how sensitive my neck is now we can touch it freely."

Tsume let Kashi touch all he wanted, lifting an arm to make it easier. "It's no different than a silkie. they become human when they remove their skins but then return to being seals when they put it back on. it's a lot like my clothes." he removed the leather jacket and then his undershirt, handing them over to Kashi. but as soon as the other took then, they changed back to silver fur, much like a hide. "see? i change their appearance so i don't look like i just walked out of a cave. besides, the leathers suit this form." he winked at Kashi, grinning playfully
